“When I say Ms. Rita is an ALL STAR sitter, I’m talking about a true professional. I don’t even LIVE in Delaware, but I attended my brother’s wedding there, and she literally SAVED MY LIFE at the last moment, and babysat my pup BLUE at the last minute! I reached out to her at 7:30 in the morning, for an afternoon drop off, and not only did she reply almost immediately to confirm some details, she accepted the booking! Ms. Rita is just as DELIGHTFUL, WARM, KIND, PROFESSIONAL, CARING, and OVERALL AMAZING as she may appear on this profile. I have never left my dog anywhere except for his groomer, and I was PLEASANTLY shocked at how well my dog took to her and her FABULOUS dog, and the other dog that she was watching. Not only did she send me photo updates, she was so highly communicative the entire time before during and even after…. I mean…. I made my brother’s wedding, and didn’t have to worry about my dog and his accommodations (dogs weren’t showered unfortunately) because I was so grateful for and confident in the care being provided by Ms. Rita. Folks… don’t overwhelm her with bookings… but definitely look no further !!!! She is phenomenal, and I wish I lived in Delaware now just so that I can bring my fur baby here more often! About: I have worked at a boarding facility in an animal hospital for almost 3 years. I also have some experience working with vet techs and doctors. I made the decision to leave my job as a boarding technician to focus solely on my veterinary technology online classes. I know the care, love, dedication, patience and preparedness it takes to care for your babies. I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and breeds. I’ve also cared for exotics which includes birds, small mammals, reptiles, etc. I also had a dog of my own which I had for 13 years and she was the love of my life. She was special needs, with a brain disease, dementia which caused behavioral issues, and in the last year of her life she suffered from a tumor and was constantly bleeding so I have a lot of experience with caring after a high maintenance pet, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I can confidently say animal caretaking is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done in my life. I left my full time job so I could focus on my online classes so my schedule is super flexible. I have no problem with getting up super early in the morning or being up super late at night. Working at an animal hospital full time for years hours can be very long and shifts start super early so I’m very disciplined when it comes to being on time. I have a big home and live near lots of parks and walkways where we can walk. I have spare pet beds, treats and toys in my home as well. The door to outside remains closed at all times. I will only take a dog outside if they are on leash. I will keep an eye on baby at all times.

My yard is treated naturally in the warmer months to keep fleas and ticks away, I also utilize a pet waste removal service to ensure my outdoor space is as safe and clean as it can be to accommodate my pet guests.

About: I'm a passionate dog lover with a special knack for puppy training. I'm also a proud corgi mom, so I know how to handle even the most energetic breeds with patience and love! I'm currently working full time as a phlebotomist, but I have off every Sunday and at least one other week day. Also, every other week I work day shift so I have time to walk your pet if need be in the evenings. All you have to do is ask if I'm available a certain day at least 3 days in advance and I'll be sure to tell you if I can help! I currently live in an apartment and have plenty of space in the living room to set up your dog's bed, crate, food bowls, etc. Plus, if they feel lonely, I have a 1 and a half your old corgi named Clyde who is super friendly and playful. However, if you need your dog to cared for alone, I am able to keep Clyde in a separate area. On another note, if I needed to come to your place to do a drop in visit, please know I would respect your space and follow the instructions you provide.

“I was in need of dog sitting services while I took my mother to her annual doctor visit at Univ. Of Pennsylvania. I contacted Samantha and she graciously accepted my request without the usual "meet and greet". Since we didn't have a "Meet n Greet" prior to the day I booked her, I arrived a bit early so we could have an opportunity to chat prior to me leaving my King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Benny, with her. Samantha sent me photos of Benny with her pug, Minnie and her two Goldens' Wesley and Reya. I felt even more comfortable knowing that she's a certified vet tech! It is evident Samantha loves animals and will treat your furbaby like her own. I knew Benny was left in very capable hands. I can't thank her enough. I will definitely rebook with her.”
