About: I’m a NICU nurse looking to turn my love for animals into something I can do on the side. While this is my first time offering pet-sitting services professionally, I have years of experience caring for animals and am very comfortable with both cats and dogs. I currently have four cats of my own, but my family has many dogs I deeply love. I’m used to volunteer at PETS until I had my son, because helping animals is something I’m truly passionate about. As a NICU nurse, I’m patient, responsible, attentive, and detail-oriented. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved, especially when their owners are away! I have four cats of my own and have grown up around dogs and other animals, so I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs with different personalities and needs. When caring for pets in their own homes, I will follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I understand that pets are most comfortable in familiar surroundings, and I want to make their time away from their owners as stress-free as possible. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous, but she made it extremely worry free. Her dogs were extremely friendly and even welcomed Felix the minute they saw each other. “This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”
