About: I have many years of pet sitting, up to several pets at a time, including owning many of my own since I was a child. I am patient when meeting new pets, for I understand it may take time to warm up to new people (and other pets!) I’m friendly, and talk to most animals just like they’re humans (lol). I enjoy spending time playing around, going for runs, as well as providing companionship when around pets. We love snuggling in bed over here! I’m not easily intimidated by a shy pet, and will treat them with the same respect and patience as their owners. I have high expectations for my own, so I believe it is only normal and natural to give the same in return for others’ pets so their families are comfortable with who they leave their furry friends with when away. My boy is the friendliest dog ever! He absolutely loves meeting other dogs (and the owners to receive even more affection 🤣). He’s got a lot of energy, which can overwhelm others the first day (he just wants to play!) He is very gentle with small dogs. When meeting others’ on the first day, If they are uncomfortable with his energy level and show they need time to warm up, he immediately backs off and resorts to my side until they are ready. He is very submissive in this sense which is great for no escalation and providing other dogs with the time they need to adjust to a new setting/new friends. I work a full time day job; my pet along with the others’ I have boarded have had no issues with a routine working schedule! I care for others’ pets like they are my own! It is my duty as a trusted sitter to care for others’ pets in a way they need.
11. Carolina M.
About: I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I grew up with a black lab mix who was part of our family for 14 years. . I will care for your dogs just as I would my own. I have experience volunteering with Luckydog and fostering dogs from the Fredericksburg SPCA. I lived in Argentina for over a year and also helped volunteer in feeding the many strays that are present in their streets. I have previous experience taking care of both dogs and cats and feel comfortable around them regardless of size and breed! I genuinely love being around dogs, and animals in general, and don't see it so much as a "job" as I do a hobby of mine. I have two border collies of my own, so I know what high energy dogs require to stay happy and healthy! I currently work from home which gives me the flexibility to make time for dogs and their needs. I currently have two of my own dogs who are getting lots of romping time in our one acre fenced in back yard area. I have the time and energy to look after other people's dogs as well with my schedule! I won't leave dogs for longer than 4 hours unattended. If the dogs like be outdoors, I will try and spend as much time outside as possible! In my own home, I have two wonderful border collies. If I am boarding in my own home, I would request a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that all of our doggos get along great!
12. Emily J.
“Emily is genuinely one of the most responsible and hard working people I know. I have known her for many years, and I have always seen her give her all to anything she does and she consistently does phenomenal work. She is loving and is easy to work with. My personal dog has always loved Emily, and I have witnessed that she is good with animals.”
13. Patricia H.
About: I own a homestead with hens, pig and a cat. I also care for the neighborhood animals, and I rescue any and all animals in need. I currently am reitired from the corporate world, so I am home all day and night. Also looking to foster some animal's in need and volunteer at the shelter. Caring for an animal starts with respect, they need love and attention to feel safe in their environment no matter where they are. Always respect their boundaries.
14. Gabriella S.
“Gabriella is by far the best dog sitter/walker that we have ever had. She is caring, gentle, and dependable! We have never had someone who looked after our animals who cared as much as she does.”
15. Robin K.
