“Karl house sat for our 2 cats and 1 dog for 4 days. My cats, normally very shy around strangers, were sleeping on his lap the first night! He must be a cat whisperer :). Karl was great with Gator, our senior lab. Gator sometimes has separation anxiety when we leave, but not this time. Hmmm, dog whisperer too? My one cat needs medication twice a day and Gator once a day. Karl ensured medications were taken and all instructions were followed to a T. Home was clean when we came home, almost like no one was here. BUT I know that's not true as we received daily updates with photos on all pets. THANKS Karl. We'll be seeing you again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I love animals of all kinds and as a pet owner know how important pets are to the family and how stressful it can be when being away from them! I work remotely full time 7:30-3:00pm (End of August-mid June). I have time for short breaks/walks for pets during these working hours and evenings after work for lots of play time, walks, etc. (***I work on-site from July 6-August 14, so day time drop-ins and house sitting may be difficult depending on pet needs Monday-Friday***). I will follow your schedule and routines as you would if you were home with your pets to the best of my ability. I like to know what your typical schedule and pets needs are.

I work mainly from home and I'm available to board or house sit, drop in, and provide dog walks. While in your home I provide mental and physical stimulation for your animals along with attentive care. I own my own home in the country where your pets will be taken care of. There is a lot of land for long dog walks in nature and for play. No other pets, traffic, people or circumstances will bother yours at my house. :)

About: I have cared for so many types of dogs since I was a kid. From little Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Pitbulls and Rottweilers. I absolutely love them all! About: Calm, relaxing, loving home for your pet! I work from home so am here almost all day and night. Safe and cared for while you’re gone. I have a huge fenced in yard, and additional acres to walk your dog leashed if you’d like me too. It’s quiet here. Your pet will be comfortable in his own space near me. We have no cats living here at this time but they are always welcomed! I will follow whatever walking, and eating instructions that you set for your pet, to keep their schedules as normal as possible to help relieve the stress of being away. Our home is their home! I’m fully insured and able to handle any needs your pet has! I was a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist (blood draws) so healthcare is in my background also. I am self employed and will be home with your pet. Your pet will be well supervised and treated as a part of the family. My home is private, quiet and safe. It is large and has a nice big fenced yard that I will walk your pet in. I will walk your dog every 2 hours and will not let your pet go outside without me. I have two dogs, Latte, a 40lb retriever mix that was a rescue, and is very sweet, but timid around people she doesn’t know, and Gracie Mae, Golden Retriever, that is 6 months old, 50 lbs, and learning to be a gentle not wild sister to Latte! I always safely separate dogs from different families.

About: I grew up in the woods surrounded by a constant menagerie of beloved animals, from kittens and hamsters and goldfish to an energetic black lab and her tumbling litter of puppies, to parakeets and cockatiels and the wild baby hawks my mother rescued. Though I never had a snake growing up, I lived with two ball pythons in college and learned about reptiles petsitting for iguanas. Because I travel regularly, I’m not in a position to have pets of my own, and so petsitting is not only a way to earn extra income, but also to fulfill my longing to connect with animals. Life is better with creature friends! I’ve been petsitting for 21 years, and I have experience with a wide variety of animal, both long- and short-term stays, and with boarding cats, dogs, and snakes at my home for weeks at a time. I’ve provided long-term care for kitties and pooches who need diabetes injections twice a day, and I’m no stranger to following *very specific protocols* to get an aged friend to take their daily pills. I’ve cared for nervous nellies and pandemonius puppies and cats who need to chase lots of things in order to stay sane. About: Animals and nature have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve been exposed to, and well acquainted to a variety of animals, including fish, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even a baby squirrel rescue! I am also a volunteer dog walker at my local shelter, which is my therapy and brings me great happiness. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule and I am open to what works best for you and your pets needs. I am with my dogs all day everyday. They get all of my love and attention. I constantly monitor for potential hazards and act accordingly in order to limit any risks. Cleanliness and order is my main priority as I value a clean and tidy home. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.
