About: Hi! My name is Elly, and I’m currently a college student at Kirkwood. I have hands on experience working at an animal hospital as a kennel attendant, where I cared for both cats and dogs. My responsibilities included feeding, administering medications, providing playtime, and taking pets out for potty breaks. I also grew up on a farm, so I’m comfortable working with larger animals and understand the responsibility and care they require. I’ve always been a huge animal lover. I’ve owned a variety of pets including a hedgehog, ferrets, and currently a Mini Australian Shepherd. My boyfriend also has three dogs, so I’m very used to being around and managing multiple dogs at once. I love staying active through hikes and long walks, and I’m very comfortable handling energetic pets. I attend a mix of online and in person classes 2 days a week, which gives me plenty of availability throughout the rest of the week. I’m originally from central Illinois, so I do occasionally travel there in my free time, but I always plan ahead and keep my availability updated to ensure I can fully commit to the pets I’m caring for. When caring for pets, my main goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s regular feeding schedule, provide fresh water, and maintain a clean environment this includes litter box care for cats and regular potty breaks for dogs. I make sure each pet gets the attention they need based on their personality. For cats, that may be playtime, enrichment, or calm companionship. For dogs, I provide walks, exercise, and interaction to keep them happy and active. I’m comfortable administering medications for both cats and dogs and use a calm, patient approach especially with shy, nervous, or high energy pets. I also monitor their behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I keep owners updated so you always know how your pet is doing. In my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. With my background in animal care including rescued cats and experience around multiple dogs I’m confident handling a variety of temperaments and needs. My goal is always to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own while you’re away.

About: It is a dream of mine to become a veterinarian. I am actually currently attending school to become a veterinary technician first, and I have been working at a vet’s office for about 2 years, although I have been shadowing for 3 years. I have always grown up with pets, whether it be farm animals or indoor cats and dogs. I love all animals, and it’s my dream to be able to help and care for them! I’m currently working full-time at Knox Pet Clinic as a vet assistant. I work 7am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. I can also stop by during my lunch break if you live within a close distance! I will make sure that everything in your home is left the same as when you left it! I know pets can make things messy, and I will try my best to keep it tidy!

About: Hellooo. I have been taking care of pets my entire teenage years and well into adulthood- 25 years and counting. I adore cats and dogs- I have raised mostly cats. I can tend to special care and diet, medicine if needed, and exercise. I do this full time! Making homemade dog treats and going on long walks, to the dog park is my favorite thing to do. My schedule is very flexible so I am available anytime and there to meet your pets needs to accommodate. I am available to provide daytime service in my home and provide attention daily, would go on walks for exercise. I provide meals on a schedule but flexible to accommodate if needed. I am able to provide consistent attention if needed as well. I treat pets like my children. I communicate as well for pets understand feelings- talking to and rewarding is huge for trust and respect, patient as well.

About: I used to live on a ranch including dogs and cats. I’ve had many years of caring for them and when anything happens to them, I’m the first one that gets called to get asked what they can do to help them. I am full time Monday-Friday but I would love to take care of your pets after! Anytime after 4:30 will be the best time I can come after work but on the days I’m off, anytime works Whatever the rules are, I will follow them. If dogs are needed to be crated at a certain time, I can do that and if they need free time constantly then I am all for that as well.

I can provide potty / play visits on weekdays, and provide house sitting services for Fridays and Saturdays. I have a part Labrador part Pit bull dog myself. She is high energy and very playful and loving of other dogs and cats. So long as your dog is comfortable with her, I'd be able to provide a playmate. And if you have cats in your home my dog would be comfortable with them as well. Otherwise, I will give my undivided attention to your pet snuggling with them and making sure they're fed and played with or take them out on walks. If you have any specific instructions or wishes for me to kennel them I can do that as well. I'd also be happy to take pictures of how your pet is doing or me playing with them to help you feel more safe and happy seeing your friend is being cared for!

About: I got my first pet when I was 8 and have had pets ever since. I love meeting other people’s pets. I ran a pet transport business transporting pets across the country two years ago and am excited to now stay closer to home while still spending time with special pets. My kids are grown with their own families so I have plenty of free time to spend caring for your precious pets, whether you just need a drop in visit or overnight care. About: I have had dogs in my household all my life. They’ve become my family and I care for them as such. I am a dependable student who spends all of her spare time loving her cats and dogs, animals are one of my passions. Currently, I have two dogs in my household who I take care of and love everyday. Personally I don’t go out of town a lot regularly so I’m available most days but I will update my schedule regularly if I will be out of town. I’m open to staying at your house to watch them, or just dropping by to let them outside, or even just to make sure they feel safe while you’re gone. I plan on caring for your dogs, just like I care for mine. I have two cats of my own that I take care of completely, but I also help out my family with their three dogs we currently have in the house. About: I’ve had all kinds of dogs in my life since i was 7. from 8 week old to 13 years old. I’m great with walking dog’s keeping them out of things and making sure they are safe. I am a traveling stay at home wife, who hates staying at home. I have full availability to walk dogs early in the morning and afternoons. I always make sure the weather is good for a walk. Make sure the dogs is safe while walking on the sidewalk and walk away from other dogs.

About: Experience with caring for dogs and cats of all ages. I have a passion for special needs, sick and elderly pets. While not in class I would love to watch your pet(s) and care for them. I recently moved from Chicago to Macomb to pursue school. I have a love for outdoors! Hiking and enjoying trails is one of my favorite hobbies I would love to include your furry friend on! I am a nurse part time and pre-medicine student. My husband, Carlos, works from home and is an even bigger pet lover than myself! My work schedule is “as needed” meaning I make my own schedule, making me flexible for pet parents! My job is also less than a mile from home making me available almost at all times! I have a very spacious one bedroom apartment. I have been told by HVAC and Xfinity people that it is the nicest, largest, one in Macomb. There are also plenty of parks and trails nearby for when your furry friend is ready to explore. I am a home body most days, but of course when the weather is nice that changes! I love to be outdoors. I work part time, while my husband works from home full time. I make my work schedule and can build it around clients needs. I also work a few minutes away allowing me to be home on breaks if need be! I believe in following the rules the pet parents set! This helps decrease anxiety for the pet! I respect all the rules and expectations set by the pet parent as they are in charge at the end of the day!
