About: I have watched all dogs from puppy to old senior sweethearts, my heart belongs to all animals. My boy loves friends and always ready for a visitor! I am currently a stay at home mother, I have all the free time in the world. I spend my free time with my children and my fur babies!! I have a huge yard, not fenced in but safe and in a quiet neighborhood. All animals will be taken out on a leash and give PLENTY of time to go potty! About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could walk. Pets have always been an addition in my family. I have also pet sat for friends and family when they have needed. To me, pets are family and I have always taken care of them like that. When I'm trusted to take care of someones pet, I treat them like their baby. We have 3.5 acres of farm and woodland. 1 acres is wooded and we have a trail and creek to play in. If things get too messy, we can always rinse off in the hose. I have a lead out back, but if your dog doesn't need it great! If your dog requires a little more, I have a fenced in area behind the barn that we can venture to as well. I live on a private drive, so not a lot of traffic and its nice and peaceful. I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. I live 20 minutes away and usually come home on my lunch break at 12 to let my dogs out and to let them run and play. I wake up early to take care of my chickens and ducks and let my dogs run around for about 30 minutes outside. With other dogs, we might wake up a little earlier and go on a trail or just walk up and down the road(.5miles) maybe more if needed. We then come inside and eat and drink and they are usually ready to go back to bed by the time I leave for work. On my days off we are outside constantly. If your dog is an introvert or loves ac, we do also let our dogs on the furniture for extra lounging. 🤣 At night we do a bit more outside since we make our rounds to make sure the birds are safe and fed and maybe another walk in the woods. Before bed, we do tick checks just in case! I care for all pets like my own and all pets have the same freedoms as my fur babies(unless specified so your doggo doesn't come home with any habits you don't want them to have). I have blankets on my couches and dog beds all over the house.

One is a toy Berniedoodle and the other is a lab/bordercollie. I am the one in our family that does the puppy training. I am a retired school teacher. I make sure each pet gets the attention they need based on their personality. For cats, that may be playtime, enrichment, or calm companionship. For dogs, I provide walks, exercise, and interaction to keep them happy and active. I’m comfortable administering medications for both cats and dogs and use a calm, patient approach especially with shy, nervous, or high energy pets. I also monitor their behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I keep owners updated so you always know how your pet is doing. In my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. With my background in animal care including rescued cats and experience around multiple dogs I’m confident handling a variety of temperaments and needs. About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.

And if you have cats in your home my dog would be comfortable with them as well. I’ve had many years of caring for them and when anything happens to them, I’m the first one that gets called to get asked what they can do to help them. I am full time Monday-Friday but I would love to take care of your pets after! I am currently a stay at home mother, I have all the free time in the world. I spend my free time with my children and my fur babies!!
