“This is our first time using Rover and Kirsten was the best pet sitter for our introduction to the services. She made us feel really comfortable meeting with her and our cat (Mochi), prior to her visit with him. We loved seeing photo updates at each check-in, and so great seeing him out and not hiding, cause he's a shy boy until he feels comfortable. Thank you so much, Kirsten! 💙”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and genuinely love all animals. I had my first cat at age 4 and grew up with both cats and dogs. I also lived with a rescued pit bull for several years (she had a rough past and didn’t do well around other dogs), so I have some experience with anxious pups on walks. I understand how important it is to build trust and work at a pet’s pace. Whether your pet is social and playful or a bit shy and needs space, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the best care possible. Even with a full-time job in finance, I make time for what matters—and for me, that includes animals. I work a standard weekday schedule, but my evenings and weekends are all open for pet care. The flexibility of my job may allow for a late morning - early afternoon check-in. Whether its a walk, evening check-in, or weekend drop-ins, I’m happy to build a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I also spend most of my downtime at home, so if your pets need longer visits, I can give them plenty of attention and company. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comforting as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, medications, walking schedules, or just the way your pet likes their favorite toy tossed. I know every animal is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and needs. If we arrange care in my home, your pet will be treated like one of my own. I have a calm, pet-friendly space and three cat companions who are used to other animals and are gentle and well-socialized. I always do a slow introduction and only bring in pets that I know will be comfortable in that environment. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether I’m in your home or you're trusting your pet with mine.

“Ashley watched our golden retriever for a total of 6 drop in visit over 3 days. She was so wonderful and thorough with all her notes she reported with each visit. We had never used a service like this before and were a little hesitant at first. I would definitely recommend Ashley. I myself will definitely be asking for her assistance in the future!”

About: I provide dog/cat sitting in your home. I just spent a week at a lady’s home watching her two dogs. One had an energetic personality and the other had three Legs! I helped him jump on the bed, walk down the stairs, and go for walks. I also pet sat for my friends mom. She has three dogs. All different sizes. I played fetch, made sure I got to her house on time to let them out, and fed on the desired times. I’ve also watched A Doberman, two border collies, one corgi, one Gordon setter, and last but not least an Aussie spaniel mix all in the same house. They were full of energy but very well mannered. I can give diabetic dogs shots as long as they behave. I also have experience with incontinent dogs and wheelchair dogs. I’ve watched horses, cats, goats, small animals including rabbits, geckos, chickens and fish. Please consider me for pet sitting your fury animals. I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you

About: Born and raised in Germany with beautiful cats of all shapes and sizes. My very first cat was my beloved Minki that was a proud 17 years and deaf in both ears! If that wasn't enough, she also only had three teeth and was rescued from the roads. She taught both my mother and I how to be responsible and how pets ARE family. After Minkis passing, my beloved Imy has entered our hearts. Imy was a strong headed almost human-like boy. He knew how to potty on the human toilet, went on walks with me and accompanied me to my school. He was very protactive of us and very clingy. We unfortunately lost him in 2014. Also his name choice might be surprising, but I was a little girl that thought that pretty kitty must be a girl! Well, the name stuck with us! In 2014 we adopted two pretty twin kittens Pixel and Gray. They are going strong at 11 years old, and live with my mother in Germany. After leaving my life behind in Germany to be with my husband, I was determined to be pet free, no hair, no bills - yay! Until we drove to an appointment on a super cold day and encountered a barely alive kitten - our now baby boy Basil. Basil is the light of our hearts and became a big brother as we adopted Toast just a little over a month ago! I have experience with both female and male cats, disabled, old and young. Both indoor and outdoor cats are familiar to me as I had lived with both at some point. Currently my cats are indoor with occasional cat-walks outside on the leash or when heading out with a cat stroller. My husband has experience with farm cats as he grew up on a farm in Wisconsin. I am a 911 dispatcher and my schedule varies. I work 12 hour shifts and my husband is currently in the process to become a trucker. He will not be over the road, and comes home after his shift. I have several days off due to me working a stretch, but my cats are truly taken care of. We rent a small 2 bedroom house with access to a front and backyard. We live next to neighbors that have a beautiful male ragdoll cat that likes to visit from time to time. I love to clean and am very adament about my cats hygiene as well. Their litter boxes are cleaned up to 4 times a day, they never live in filth, they receive hair care and groom care. Their nails are trimmed regularly, and they receive wet food including dental care. I am also very concious of their safety. Basil tends to be scared of strangers at first, but we own a kitty cam, the cats have plenty of room, with access to all rooms, except basement (as it is not directly accessible through the home). Have window benches, a cat tree, and are allowed to lay wherever they want. The only boundary we have is them being on the kitchen counter.

“Sheena was wonderful! Great communication skills, wonderful sitter who kept meticulous details of her visits with my cat, Dot. Definitely recommend Sheena to watch your four legged friends! :)”

“Emma did a terrific job looking after my lab, Cooper. She communicated after every drop-in with photos and updates. I highly recommend her for looking after your fur babies when you are out of town.”

“Monica was great! Communicative and patient with all my details and directions for my diabetic kitty, my senior kitty and my hyper dog. I will definitely be requesting her help again! Thank you Monica!”

“I mean - week one with us and I couldn’t be more pleased. Absolutely stellar. From trusting Bella’s instincts and hers , Seri spared herself and Bella from possible exposure to a dangerous gas leak. We look forward to her caring for Bella again and again.”

“Taya (and her partner, Ben) did a great job looking after our three kitties. Even though two of our little ones were quite shy, Taya took good care of them and made sure they had food, water, and play, as well as making sure the litter boxes were all cleaned.”

I’m working full time right now and I am pet sitting as a side gig to make some extra money. I can head over after my shifts! My pets at home are well take care of. Our dog is kennel trained but our cats have free access of the house during the day. I have a long haired cat so I’m used to brushing cats and dogs out!

I'm currently working a part-time job so I have plenty of available time to look after your pets! My job depends on the weather but regardless I'll do my best to fit your schedule. About: I want to meet your pet on their level! I've had cats my entire life, and dogs for a total of 20+ years and I know how to adjust myself to best care for them. I have experience with dogs who are reactive, shy, hyper, old and young, sport dogs and snuggly pets too. My own dog and I dabble in agility and rally-o, so I have experience with R+ training and LOTS of patience. I personally currently have a cattle dog mix, 2 kittens and their mum (all rescues who have stolen my heart). I've done drop in checks and walks for friends and coworkers over the years and I don't think I've ever met a dog I didn't love. I adopted my dog as a puppy, and I know the unique challenges they have, as well as how vastly different their personalities and needs can be. I work from home some days. Other days I commute from Elgin to Rochester, so I'm very flexible on where I can be available. I can make most times work for me! Weekends I'm available 24 hours. I'm very happy to walk your dog in your neighborhood, or take them to your fenced yard for some fetch or 'puppy tag'! If your pet just wants some loving and cuddles, I am more than happy to do that too. I can feed, water, scoop litter boxes, give meds, and check minor dressings. I'm happy to even give your pet a quick brushing if that's what makes them happy! I know puppies need extra attention and am able to accommodate that too.

About: I grew up having dogs and cats. I have had small and large breed dogs, I love the joy and loyalty that an animal can bring to a home. I currently have 2 dogs, Lily, a 5 year old Australian shepherd, and Sprocket, 9 year old schnauzer-Pomeranian male. My dogs love to play and make new friends, I understand how hard it gets to find reliable care for your pets when you want to go on vacation or something else is going on, I’d be more than happy to help you out when needed! I’m currently working full time but I’m always open on weekends. My schedule is very flexible so don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. We have a fenced in backyard, we'll always use a leash if we go on walks with your dogs. We have cameras in our home as well.

About: I am a 2020 graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and work as an organic farmer. Rover helps me to earn money for myself during the off season when work dies down. My step mother is a certified vet tech and I spent time as a middle schooler helping care for animals that boarded at the animal hospital she worked at. I’ve had two seasons of farm experience managing and caring for livestock. Needless to say I am familiar with animal behavior and care needs. Makayla W.
“I’m a super anxious pet parent and Makayla is one of the few people I trust to look after my 3 cats. You can tell she genuinely loves all pets and strives to care for yours as if they are her own. She is excellent at following detailed instructions which is absolutely essential for my furry family because they all have different dietary restrictions and routines that must be followed. Makayla’s company and care was a saving-grace the first time I had to leave my cats alone for a longer trip abroad and I (and my cats!) would absolutely have her back in a heartbeat. She made me feel like she really respects the level of care I expect with my cats and I was able to leave them without worry that something would happen to them or they would be lonely while I was away. I cannot recommend Makayla enough to my fellow pet parents.”

Destinee M.
“I had Destinee watch my farm that has 3 horses 7 cats 3 goats a rabbit and 6 dogs for 3 days and she did an awesome job. She has been the first person that actually did as told and then some. I would defiantly reccomend her to anyone if they are going out of town and are looking for a great pet or farm sitter!”

Mel B.
“Mel is fantastic with any animal I’ve had her take care of, she’s naturally intuitive with what animals need and is always on top of things. “Michael has always taken care of our dogs before Rover came to be. He never received money from us because he enjoyed being around our dogs so much. Our dogs always would wait to see him in the morning and evening when he would come to walk our dogs. Michael always had a caring, responsible, love for our dogs, and I know our dogs knew it too. Sadly, our dogs have past, but when we run into Michael he always brings up so many loving memories of them.”
