“When our normal sitter for our 18 year old dog was unavailable we selected Dayjah to fill in. As our dog is old, we are very protective with him. We spike with Dayjah on the phone first. It was clear that she not only was very knowledgeable about about pet care, but even more important, she loved animals. Our dog did fantastic with Dayjah. Infact, he did not seem to want to leave when we picked him up. Dayjah has my highest recommendation in providing safe and loving care for your pet!”

About: I’ve had pets growing up my whole life. I own a cat myself. I also frequently babysit my “nephew” (St. Bernese Mountain Dog) frequently, along with many other family members who have pets! I currently work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I work mostly nights, so I have plenty of downtime during day time hours. I have an indoor cat so he is pretty relaxed in his environment. I have family members with fenced in yards, tracking collars, and/or just a simple chain and post.

“My dog seemed to do well aside from not getting along well with another dog. He was well taken care of and I received updates throughout the day. Marissa gave me a detailed review of the day. I plan to use her again and would recommend her.”

“Amy and her family were absolutely amazing and Marley loved going for Doggie Daycare! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our baby and for being so flexible as well!! We will definitely use you again for Marley care❤️”

About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. Along the way, I took many classes to learn more about animal behavior and psychology. However, once I graduated, I was at a loss of what to pursue. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. I have spent countless hours learning through hands on experience, shadowing other trainers, signing up for seminars/conferences and taking courses through a Pet Professional Program. In addition to this, I read countless books, listened to professional dog trainer podcasts, and watched videos. Now I run my own dog training business called Tator's Training. Pet care is about the well-being of the animal as a whole... starting with nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation and being active. I have 3 dogs of my own that I work with every day. I target each category (nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation, physical activity) to make sure their needs are met. I work with dogs daily and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. Every dog is treated like my own. I would never put an animal in a situation that isn't environmentally safe for them or puts them at risk. Safety involves having a safe place, being aware of what a dog is trying to tell you, having water available, following the established nutrition routine, allowing play, freedom (within reason), and providing daily enrichment.

About: I am very familiar with reptiles, cats, dogs, and birds. I have been helping take care of others animals and have lots of experience with all stages of dogs. I am currently working part time and have a lot of free time that I would love to occupy more! I am also very flexible with my other job I treat my pets in my home like they are my own kids, and they definitely are spoiled! I am versed with crate training , potty training, etc.

About: I’ve had family pets as long as I can remember, cats and dogs. Currently have the chillest cat I’ve ever seen. The whole family loves animals. I work as a teacher. Weekends are always open. Summer is completely open, home anytime. Great yard for animals to play, no backyard neighbors either 1/2 acre yard. I have a clean and orderly home to easily let pets feel not threatened or overwhelmed. Big back yard and trails, sidewalks to get out on. Park across the street as well. Quiet, secluded neighborhood.

About: I love learning about and playing with animals, especially dogs and cats. I currently have a 2.5 year old Ragdoll cat. I have a lot of experience with dogs that have health issues. Me and my husband had an American Eskimo dog that had many, many health problems. I dealt with modification of his behavior and administering medications, etc. I have gone through level one and level two of obedience training with dogs before. My goal is to give your dog attention and love while only reinforcing good behavior so that when you get home, they will be a much more enjoyable friend to have around. I currently work part time and also am a part time volunteer in the community. My schedule is fairly flexible. I am often able to move things around in order to accommodate my responsibilities. I am able to get your pet exercise with playing inside, outside, or going on a walk; depending on your personal situation. I also can provide mental stimulation with obedience training, and feeding games. I am able to crate your dog before leaving if that is your preference.

About: HI EVERYONE! I’m Kelsey! 🙂 I’m 31 years old and a proud mom to two amazing boys who love dogs almost as much as I do! My passion for dogs started when I was just a little girl, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since. I spent six years as an assistant manager at a daycare and boarding facility, where I had the privilege of caring for and learning from countless furry friends. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two wonderful boys, and in our home, your pet will always have a loving hand ready for petting or a cozy lap to cuddle in! ❤️ I have a fenced-in yard where your pet can run, play fetch, and enjoy as much outdoor time as they like! I have a German Shepherd who absolutely loves all dogs. She’s friendly, gentle, and wants to be everyone’s best friend—she wouldn’t hurt a fly. If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs, I can easily keep them separated to ensure they feel safe. If your pet enjoys walks, we can take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. After all the fun and playtime, we like to wind down and snuggle up on the couch for a nice, relaxing snooze!
