Naomi was great. My baby loved her. At an extremely last minute notice, she saved the day while I was out of town on an emergency. I could she my baby girl smiling as Naomi had her by my remote door camera. We will definitely use her again.

About: As far back as I can remember I’ve owned or cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters you name it and I’ve probably cared for it. I love dogs the most and currently own three. Training them, caring for them, playing with them are my passions. I can bathe, trim nails, give medications, train them, walk them properly, and integrate them into packs when requested. I work from home M-F and have flexibility with my hours. I like to travel and I know the cost of putting my dogs up in boarding or day care facilities. We've decided to reduce our travel for now to save up money. I am happy to help out where needed. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. We have a fenced in yard the dogs can run and play in. We also have 2 large dog crates and one small dog crate we keep in case the dogs want/need to be isolated. When we are home our dogs are able to play inside and outside. We have parks close by and take our dogs on walks 2-3 times a day. Your pet would either walk with them or separately depending on his/her ability. We play fetch, we do commands, we can run them or play in water if it’s hot. We love dog parks and shaded walking trails as well. Dogs have the ability to stay inside or outside at our home.. I work from home and can watch them inside while I work. I let them play outside several times a day as wells. Dogs have the ability to stay inside or outside at our home. We have dog beds for them to lie on. We have a big yard and a pool.

About: Hey fur parents, I just wanted to come on here and provide a 5 star service to you and your fur baby! Here’s a little bit about me… I’ve pet sat, walked pets, administered medication to many pets that require it on a day to day basis (via orally and injection), and many drop-in visits for a little over 5 years now to highly anxious, aggressive, and elderly animals. I’ve also worked it the veterinary field assisting doctors to provide hands on care to your fur baby for a little over a year now. I’m also in with the AKC. I compete with dogs in conformation, agility, dock diving, scent work, and barn hunt etc. and have been doing that for about a year with all types of breeds and sizes. I have always had a special connection with dogs and all animals for that matter and enjoy every second I can get with any of them. I look forward to doing some pet sitting or walking for you and your fur baby! I work part-time at the veterinary clinic (2 times a week for 5 hours a day) which gives me plenty of time during the week to play with your precious fur baby! I’m also a college student who has recently switched to online classes giving me even more time with your pet! I have a fenced in yard for endless potty breaks and plenty of play area! I have two loving Labrador retriever’s dogs to bring your pet a buddy to play endless tug of war with or if your pet isn’t on the energetic side just a good ole snuggle buddy! 😁

About: Greetings, I am Obadina and I am a graduate of AK9i as a patrol Detection K9 handler and trainer. I went to Tennessee State for Animal Science Pre Veterinary Medicine where I learned animal husbandry. I used that experience to go on to be a vet tech as well as a pet bather and trainer. I am current K9 detection dog handler and trainer. I have experience with high drive dogs as well as nervous dogs and puppies. I can work with any and every dog, from fearful to aggressive. I also offer DeShed nail care and bathing services. DeShed services is when I remove the shedding undercoat that comes out usually during the change of seasons. It prevents mats and painful tangles which not only can relive pain and odor, but also keeps them cool during the warm summer months. It’s a very good alternative to shaving, which actually makes them hotter because their fur keeps the sun off of them . Animal Husbandry is my profession as a K9 handler. Your dogs will be treated like assets they are. It’s an hourly routine as animals respond to predictability which lowers stress levels which leads to better boarding experiences. Your asset will be housed in a climate controlled dry lockable indoor kennel run facility with a fenced in secured play area that’s easy to clean and plenty of storage for your pets supplies.

About: I was a dog walker before I got hired at a pet store. My first dog was a lab pit mix, my second a Belgian Shepherd, and now I have my own pit mix. I have sat for family members with Chihuahuas and dachshunds. I am great with any size dog and have never met a pet I didn't love. I am familiar with many training tools, dietary needs and distributing medication. I have owned a couple dogs with severe allergies and sensitivities. I also have experience with exotic pets including ferrets. I care for my dog 24/7 including daily walks and a good amount of play time. I work from home as a counselor and create my own schedule so have plenty of time to tend to your pets. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup that loves other dogs. She would be great company or be able to be kept separate depending on your pets needs

About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and working for dog kennels over the years. My dream overall is to own a kennel and continue to care for animals like I've been doing from puppies to senior care which includes giving medication and following a strict feeding schedule , so this would be more of a learning experience for me regarding the business aspect because caring for animals just comes naturally to me. I would love to have a opportunity like this to do what I love everyday and make a income out of it but more importantly expand my knowledge and have my own schedule to work around and have that flexibility. I’m currently only working part-time so I’ll be with your pups the majority of the time also my wife is work from home and she loves the pups as well so they will never be home alone . They will have constant care and belly rubs. I have a unfenced yard and one dog to keep your fur baby entertained I’ll also provide anything needed for your dog on a day to day basis

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 from friends and family, I’ve always loved dogs, but my parents weren’t really a fan of them, now that I move in to my own house, that has plenty of space for dogs to run and play I’d love to take care of your pets as if they were my own I’m a stay at home mom of 2 girls and 1 baby boy, I’m all day at home almost every single day of the week I have a fenced yard, my backyard it’s kind of unusual, it’s like a double fenced yard, one for my house and behind that is another fenced yard for my husbands horses, so if you’d like your dog to have some kind of farm experience they can be on both yards, but if you preferred for your dog to stay away from the horses that can be too

About: Hello fellow Pet Parents! I am a huge animal lover (just ask my five cats!) and would love to take care of your furry paw family members! I have several years of experience working professionally with animals, as well as volunteering and fostering with rescues. I have had the wonderful experience to meet and handle hundreds of dogs, giving me the opportunity of working with an incredible range of different breeds and personalities. From small to big, timid to high energy, I love them all and know how to gain their trust and love! I work remotely full-time in IT, allowing me the capability and flexibility to stay with your pets at all times. I also highly value communication and am known in both my career and personal life as being very responsible - I love giving updates! As a side bonus, I enjoy doing my best to take really good pictures of your pets. I have experience supervising groups of dogs at once, administrating medications, taking care of cats when they are highly stressed (almost no cat likes boarding facilities, they like staying at home). I have also pet-sitted a max of 10 dogs at my home once; 8 puppies, their mother and father, and my two dogs! As well as pet-sitted through Rover, and for family and friends. In addition, I recently fostered a litter of 6 kittens in addition to my 3 cats until all got adopted. Spoiler alert! I ended up falling in love with 2 in particular and adopted them! However your pet may be or what type of animal, I assure you I will provide the upmost care, attention, and love to them while you are away! Please feel free to reach out to me for any inquiries or questions, and have a great day! I work remotely full-time in IT, allowing me the capability and flexibility to stay with your pets at all times so they can always have attention and company. I always ask alot of questions and love to know all I can about the pets I care for. I will follow every detail provided to ensure your pets keep their routines that allows maximum comfort.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 870 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Mansfield. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Mansfield. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Mansfield.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mansfield. On Rover:

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
