About: Hi! My name is Olivia, and I’ve been caring for dogs and animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up around pets gave me a natural love for animals, and over the years I’ve helped care for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with walking, feeding, playtime, administering medications, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. What sets me apart is the genuine love and care I give every animal. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule while I wait to begin my career as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in late August. My flexible availability allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and last-minute scheduling needs whenever possible. I love staying active, so spending time outdoors walking and caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy during this transition period before starting work. Providing a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment for pets is my top priority. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I always strive to create a calm, dependable, and comfortable experience for both pets and owners. I live in a pet-friendly environment with plenty of safe areas for walks and outdoor time, and I carefully follow each owner’s home instructions regarding routines, medications, feeding schedules, and special needs. About: As an animal lovers, I promise to treat your pet like my own. They’ll be in good hands with me for the duration of their stay. My dog has a strict routine as I believe taking care of pers works better with a specific schedule. He wakes up, gets fed, gets taken out, is given treats, among everything else at the same time. Every day. I work from home and that makes it easy to adjust our schedule. My dog gets taken out early in the morning and fed. After he then gets taken back out later that morning. In addition, we spend some time outside in the afternoon during lunch. In the evening, he’s fed and taken back out for a bit. Later at night, he’s taken out once more and given a dental treat before bed time.

I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both!
