“Chelsea was amazing! Our little Cooper had a wonderful stay while we attended a concert at the BOK! Chelsea's home is very convenient to the BOK and downtown, and she made it super easy to drop off and pick up! She sent us several photos during the evening and texted to reassure us that he was having a blast! You can tell immediately upon meeting Chelsea that she absolutely loves dogs and Cooper went right to her! I will use her again in the future!”

“What an amazing app with opportunities to find animal lovers like Crystal who was quick to respond, sent us updates and flexible with our schedule. We drove over 8 hours out of town for a wedding, and not wanting to leave our dog in an AirBnB for the entire hectic day, leaving him with Crystal was the best decision! We could tell by photos he was well loved and enjoyed so much his time with them!! Thank you app creators and everyone willing to of care for pets when needed!!”

“Pamela was great! She was very thoughtful in her care and in making sure that all of my pups needs were met. I feel like she is a gem and I’m looking forward to booking with her again.”

“Robin had a wonderful day with Miss Emily, who kept me posted all day by showing me pictures of Robin playing with the other pups. It was Robin’s first experience at doggy daycare and I found out that she is a digger lol.. hopefully Miss Emily will let us come back!”

“Ashley and her family are the best at taking care of my sweet Maggie! They are an active family that enjoys walking and running with the pups. Their dog, Lucy, is so sweet and plays great with Maggie. Ashley is also good at sending me pics throughout the day and tracking all of Maggie’s activities. You can trust this family with your furbaby.”
“Thank you for taking such good care of Dolly. She looked like she had a great time. It was such a pleasure to meet you. We are in Tulsa several times a year and we definitely would love to use you again.”

“Katherine boarded my 10 month old black lab (we provided crate, food, favorite toys, leash, ect). She did an amazing job while we were out of state for 7 days! The fact that they have a fun and playful Australian Shepard ages 1.5yrs, that my puppy could play with all day, really helped him enjoy his stay! They seemed to al get along great! Katherine provided a fun environment for Oliver. She walked him and let him play in their large backyard each day, even in the heat! She sent daily updates via text with photos and helped put our minds at ease for our pup while we were gone.”

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was a baby and the age of 12 I started my own dog sitting/grooming/training gig. Ive been training, grooming and loving on dogs of every kind ever since! All of my family, friends, and neighbors can depend on me to take the absolute best care of their babies and I thoroughly enjoy it. I am currently working from home so I have full availability and plenty of times to care for and play with your fur babies to ensure all of their needs are met! I currently live in a beautiful home with a fenced yard and plenty of open spaces for playing, walking, and running! Your baby can be kept separately in my home if it would provide more security for you!
“This was my first booking on Rover. I needed a last minute doggy daycare appointment for my four month old GSD, and Christia accepting the request. My pup loves other dogs, and Christia assured me that her dogs socialize very well. She was attentive to my pup's needs, inquisitive about behavior patterns that may indicate he needs something, and showed great enthusiasm when I introduced my pup and her. Judging by the photos she shared with me, my Pal had a great time with Christia and enjoyed playing with her dogs.”

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and horses of every kind since I was 10. I've never had a period of my life without at least several dogs, cats, reptiles, and dozens of other creatures. I worked in a busy, understaffed animal shelter for 10 years as the head trainer, walker, and advocacy and social media manager. I grew up on a farm taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes, and I'm currently a science major in college working towards spending my future working with animals and conservation. I'm currently working part-time, so your pets are my sole priority! I'm available for walking, sitting, bathing, or just hanging out with your pets! I also offer beginner and intermediate obedience training for dogs only. My pets are members of my family, and I treat every pet as if it were my own. Your pets are my highest priority, and their comfort, safety, and well-being is extremely important to me. You know your pet better than anyone, and I will always follow YOUR instructions and schedule when caring for your pet.
About: Dogs have always been a passion of mine. My last dog was a very good boy named Jiffy that made it to 17, and I learned how important keeping other dogs around was to keep him young. I've got a new pup named Pilot and he loves to play and meet new friends. I definitely have a love for every animal, but dogs & puppers have a special place in my heart 💜 I don’t have any problems feeding dogs, picking up after them, playing with them, or giving snuggles. All dogs in my care have a safe and loving space to share. I try to treat every dog as if they are a part of my family. 🤍🤍 I work from home full time, therefore, I am extremely flexible with pick up and drop off times, and can accommodate whatever type of walk/potty schedule you need. Senior dog experience, as I had a 17 year old senior pup. So used to giving medicine, and have some ramps leading to beds and couches. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard and a large covered patio, so dogs can get as much outdoor time as they need. And I've got some large windows for indoor sunbathing.
“Great experience! Beau did a daycare trial in preparation for his upcoming boarding stay, and I couldn't be happier. Eileen is amazing, and her one-pet-at-a-time policy really sets my mind at ease. I trust her completely with Beau's care.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
