About: When I was about ten year old my godmother’s dog had given birth but it came with complications, I helped her take care of the puppies and with that experience it pushed me to pursue animal care. In high school I applied for a veterinary medicine program and got in and through that program I was able to get certified to be a veterinary assistant. I love animals and I will do anything to keep them safe and loved. I’m currently working part time doing retail but on my off days I would like to continue working with animals. I can be very flexible on my off days as well and can be available in the mornings, after noons and nights. When on walks I always make sure the harness and or leashes are good and secure. When we get back from walks I’ll check under their paws to make sure that they are safe and don’t have my thing that might get stuck on them. Always have my eyes on them and will make sure that they are out of harms way. If I am sitting in your home I will make a list of things that they enjoy and things that they are not able to eat and any allergies and medications that need to be administered if need be. I will also make sure that the space is clean and tidy. I will also provide regular updates and photos so you can be sure that your pet is happy and safe with me.

“Arlette was like an angel sent to watch over my babies. It was a last minute situation because I was left without a sitter. After communicating with her for about a day and a half I invited her over to meet the guys. My babies took to her straight away. She was punctual and asked great questions. By the time she left I knew I would be comfortable leaving her in my house with my babies. On the first morning, she came super early so that I could make a 6am flight and not leave the guys alone. She was authentically attentive and genuinely concerned about them when they looked sad for a full day after I left. We strategized and came up with a plan that worked. By the second day, she got their tails wagging again and engaged them in play. I could see it on photos and videos she sent.
