From milking cows to raising chickens and pigs, and always having a dog and numerous cats around, animals were at the heart of my daily routine. Those early experiences taught me responsibility, consistency, and the importance of attentive, compassionate care. Today, my husband and I run a small hobby farm of our own, where we care for horses, chickens, our beloved dog Luna, and many kitties. Animal care continues to be a central part of my life and is something I truly enjoy. I have also completed additional training and worked extensively with my own horses and dogs. Having been around animals my entire life, I have experience providing a wide range of care, including assisting with livestock deliveries (calves and swine), administering medications, and caring for animals with medical needs, including those associated with aging. I also frequently care for the pets and farm animals of friends and neighbors. I can't help but develop a special bond with each animal I care for. Working with animals is one of my deepest passions. I love to travel and explore the world whenever I can. From September through June, my regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. I am committed to working with pet owners to accommodate their needs as best as possible and will do my utmost to ensure your pets receive the care, attention, and consistency they deserve. I currently live with my German Shorthair Pointer mix, Eddie and my Mini Dachshund Skippy! My boyfriend and I have 2 Quarter Horses names Steve and Skeeter.
