About: I have lived with animals almost my entire life. These animals consisted of several dogs and cats, a rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, hamster, hedgehog, bearded dragon, some fish, a miniature horse, goats, hens and roosters, peafowl, ducks, turkeys, and geese. Oh my! Since August of 2022, I have been house and pet-sitting full-time in nine different states across the US, looking after over 60 homes with a combined total of upwards of 30+ cats and 30+ dogs. Many of these homes also had houseplants and gardens that needed looking after, and I have experience with growing plants from studying horticulture in college (not a single plant has died under my care yet, fingers crossed). I am newer to the Rover platform but can demonstrate my experience to homeowners in interviews and meet-and-greets with pets. During my time pet and house-sitting around the US, I was often told by homeowners that I take excellent photos of their pets (see profile pics). I take pride in the level of care I provide to pets, including the cute photos I take of them. I can hardly take credit, though, as all of the pets I look after happen to be incredibly photogenic. ;) Although I’m no longer traveling full-time, I still like to keep my schedule relatively free to take on pet care because I love what I do. When I’m at a sit, pet care takes full priority of my time and energy and my entire routine revolves around making sure your pets get the care they need. I intentionally choose work that is flexible so that I can prioritize time with your pets. I have always been able to accommodate pets that cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. More often than not, I am present at the home during the entirety of the sit because the opportunity to watch over your pets is a welcomed and rewarding break from the constant movement and change that comes with the travel lifestyle I once had. More on my scheduling preferences and availability: - I am comfortable with longer stays (my longest sit so far has been longer than a month). - I love pet-sitting in rural areas and enjoy driving out from the city. My one condition is that the road to your home should be accessible by most cars and not require high clearance or four wheel drive. I don’t currently offer services in my home (yet). When I care for pets in their own home, I try to replicate their routine as closely as possible to what they are used to at home when their owners are present. I wake up at the same time homeowners do, feed pets at their usual time, and take them on walks when they would typically go out at home. That being said, because this is what I do for a living, I have so much more extra time to spend with pets. I’m often able to give pets more loving attention and care than they typically receive in a household where homeowners leave for work during the day. I’m extremely conscious of any potential hazards to pets that may be around the home and keep a clean environment. Homeowners always report their home being cleaner after they return than when they left it. Safety is a top priority of mine. Since I began house-sitting as a service to others, I have experienced situations where pet health was thrown into jeopardy and I was tested on my ability to respond calmly and effectively. During my first-ever house-sit for a client, I navigated a wildfire evacuation and prepared the property according to the homeowners’ instructions (no animals were harmed and no damage to the property). In an another house-sit on a rural farm, I encountered a possum attempting to steal one of the chickens from the coop and successfully secured the safety of the farm animals and caught and relocated the possum (no animals were injured). I understand that unexpected scenarios pop up and I’m proud to house-sit for pet owners knowing that they can rely on me and feel safe leaving their pets in my care. I usually send photo and message updates every other day for homeowners to see how their pets are doing, but I have adjusted this to more or less frequently depending on homeowner preference. Once during a sit, in addition to regular photo and text updates, I also accommodated frequent video calls for an owner to allow her to talk to her chihuahua while she was overseas. They both seemed to appreciate that very much. :)

About: I grew up on a farm so I have experience taking care of a lot of different animals, from dogs to elk and everything in between My own pets include ferrets, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, parrots, fish, and hermit crabs. I want to help you with any and all of your pet and home needs. All services offered! I'm currently only working part-time over the summer so will have lots of availability to care for your pet as needed. I can work from anywhere so am available for housesitting and in-home boarding of your pets. I live in a spacious house with a fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of enrichment opportunities. When fur babies are in my house, they are just like a member of the family and will get lots of exercise, mentally stimulating activities, and cuddles.

About: I have taken care of pets including my own 2 dogs and cat, for a couple years now. I love meeting new pets and playing with them! I am currently an undergrad student at UND. In the summer I work at a daycare caring for infants. I am very flexible on weekends and work a steady schedule on weekdays! I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to schedule walks at anytime throughout the day. I’m very organized which allows me to do both jobs. I care for all pets like they are my own. About: I own two dogs of my own, a golden retriever and a mini longhaired dachshund. I also own a cat that was adopted from Journey Home Animal Shelter. I have always grown up around pets, and would love to help out fellow pet owners as needed. I understand how much of a commitment they can be and how important it is to find a responsible sitter. I would love to be this person for you! I am a full-time teacher, so my school years get plenty busy. I have a lot of free time over the summer months and holiday breaks. I put my availability for mostly weekend hours, but my schedule can change quite often. As I have pets of my own, it is quite difficult to offer boarding services! My dogs are always inside except for potty and exercise breaks. I always make sure to keep a close eye on them and ensure that I am following any directions given my their owners. Depending on the directions given, my services may vary.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for a long time. I have a puppy right now that is about two years old named Bauer and he is my best friend. Before Bauer I had two other puppies and I love all dogs. I would love to spend time with your dog take them on walks, drives, feedings, baths, and to the park! I am still in school so I am working part time and when I am avaliable I would love to spend my time with your puppy! I do have a very friendly puppy in my home that loves to meet new puppy friends! About: I just moved back to Grand Forks in December, I’m a registered nurse. I have a mini golden doodle named Paisley and a Ragdoll named Poppy. About: I have taken care of pets for 15+ years. I have helped my neighbors, friends and family with their pets while they are gone! I have two German Shepherd’s of my own. I am currently work full time but I have so much flexibility with my job that I can be available whenever works best for you! I will always make sure that your pets are safe with me. We understand going on vacations and needing in home care for your pets is important. Leave the caring to us. We have two dogs, and a cat. Your pet will be loved and taken care of as if they were our own. We also understand pets are sensitive to change and families leaving. We will provide comfort and a peaceful environment for your pet. We live near a bike path to go on walks and have a large fenced in yard. Plenty of space to play fetch! This is easy! We already have a schedule for our pets. What is one more?! We treat them as our own. We make sure they get plenty of snuggles and pets in too. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs to keep them active and safe. We love playing outside getting fresh air. We also love downtime too, pets are welcome on our couch or we have plenty of dogbeds.

About: I currently work at a dog kennel where Im with them and take care of them every morning and play with them. I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life. I used to walk dogs as a kid then take care of my senior dog when he got really sick. I also have a family cat that I love taking care of and seeing. I love animals with all my heart and would love to meet your animals! I’m currently a student at UND, so my schedule will change. I work every morning at my dog kennel until about 11:30 and then im free after that . I am a very trust worthy person and I’m also respectful. About: I’ve taken care of family and friends animals as if they were my own super loved on and cared for. Never had a bad word on me and my care I’m a in home caregiver so on my free time I mainly spend time with my brothers dog of my cat so would be part time but could make more time if needed I do live in a apartment pet friendly close to dog park and walking park so they would never be bored and would be very loved on

About: I’ve always loved animals. I had a lot of pets growing up. I’d often dog and cat sit for my neighbors as a teenager and now I dog and cat sit for friends when possible. I used to have a chihuahua who passed away a few years ago at the age of 16. He was my baby and I miss him so much. Unfortunately I’m too busy to have a pet of my own, but I’d love to walk or watch your dog or cat when possible! I currently work from 8-430 Monday-Friday. I would be able to walk or hang out with your pet when I’m done with work. I’d also be willing to take your pet overnight as long as they’re picked up in the morning. I will be available some weekends and on the weekends I’d be willing to take your pet all day and possibly overnight. I always make sure that my clients pet has fresh water and is fed on time. I also provide potty breaks at least every 2 hours in the day time or as needed. I do not have a fenced yard so if I were to watch your dog at my place I would take him outside on a leash.
