“Ms. Rita did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Orbit! She made sure he was well cared for while I was away. I appreciated the updates and the peace of mind knowing Orbit was in such good hands. I would definitely book with Ms. Rita again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Brittany and her family were truly one of a kind! Ace felt right at home with them and her son young son Everest! I think he and Ace would call eachother on FaceTime every night from here on out if Ace had thumbs 🐾 LOL! 10 out of 10 we’ll be back again!”

About: I've had dogs all my life. I've always had a heart for animals. I was a professional groomer for 10 years and have some experience in showing them. I'd love to make our home your canine companions home away from home. They will be treated like family here! I'm a stay at home mom so we are home most weekdays, and weekends. I have plenty of time to spend with your canine companion. I have a fully fenced backyard and two pups to keep your companion company. I can keep them separated if need be. I ask that you bring your dog's crate and bedding if possible (but not required) to have a familiar surrounding/smell among them. I have a play pen for small dogs, a medium crate and small crate if needed. I'd like for their routine to be as close as their home routine as possible. Your companion will be our companion and they will be treated as family here!
“Nikki is the best! This was my first time using Rover and I was so nervous about leaving my fur baby. Nikki treated Gizmo just like he was family. She definitely eased my worries. Sent daily pictures and was very responsive in messages! Definitely trust my pet with her and will definitely be using her again when the time is needed!! Gizmo had a great environment to relax and play and was well taken care of!”

“Holly was very responsive and easy to talk to. She took great care of our two German shepherds and I felt completely happy with her keeping them! She sent pictures multiple times during their stay so I could see they were doing great. We would definitely use Holly again!”

“Ms. Shalesa did an amazing job caring for my puppies! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals, and that gave me peace of mind. She kept me updated, treated my pups like they were her own, and they came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. She’s professional, reliable, and has such a warm personality that makes the whole experience even better. It’s easy to see why pets are comfortable around her. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their furry family members. Thanks again, Ms. Shales you’ve definitely earned a repeat customer!”

About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting for over 10 years and have looked after my own cats for over 26 years. Many, many cats. If my cat Joy who is 21 could give me a reference, she would.... I hope. She is a cat after all. Don't hold my cats against me! I do love dogs. I have to feng shui my cats with dog walking and caring for dogs. I have and do volunteer at rescue groups. Big Sky/Cat Nip Foundation in Folsom, LA is where I have been volunteering recently. I love them! We meet through Sylvester. He needed a home and I took him home. He's a peach! I have lots of time to tend to peoples pets as well as my own. If there are any details that need sharing about your pets, I want to know! My aim is to make your pets as comfortable as possible and you as well. I do not offer doggy day care or boarding. My lease does not allow me. Also, my cats would be very displeased with me. I can transport to and from doggy day care, vets, etc. I occasionally do sleepovers. Mostly dog walking, cat, pet and house sitting. PLEASE ASK about my RATES if you have many pets like I do. I will adjust accordingly. I have a diabetic cat that I give insulin shots to twice daily. Otherwise, thr care of my cats operates around Sylvester’s shots. I try to schedule around his shots. He’s a good cat! He’s named after Sly Stallone, not Sylvester the cat. I do not offer this service. Please do not inquire. Rover is forcing me to answer this question. I will not ever offer Nordic g or doggy day care out of my home as the house isn’t mine and my cats have priority.
“Simply the best of rovers and I have been through four states. She is the best to take care of your dog. I had to move very quickly, and she took care of my dog and took care of my fears. If you do not reach out to her then you’re missing out. My dog Frank and I love her so much.”

“Robin did an excellent job at caring for my Chloe and Chloe had a good experience staying with Robin. I will definitely be using Robin again should I need someone to keep Chloe. Thank you Robin.”

“Bonnie is AMAZING!!! Our Zeus ADORES them!!! She communicates quickly and is always excited to see us! If I ask how he’s doing, she replies quickly and even includes pictures!! Book with Bonnie! You’ll be SO glad you do! We’ll never use else🥰🐾”

“As a first time Rover user, I was hesitant in trusting our fur baby with strangers. I am so glad I read their reviews and went with my gut instinct! Rue had a great visit and was not in any type of distress after we picked her up - unlike after being boarded. The communication was excellent and we even received daily pictures! I would not hesitate to use them again!”

“the BEST experience for our 6 month old boy! He is a true puppy and Kelly was amazing and went as far as to help house train our boy during his stay! Highly recommend!”

“Nicky was great with my pups! I was in a pinch and needed someone right away. She was so accommodating, patient, and flexible. She sent pictures daily and eased my anxiety of having my pups somewhere new. I would definitely rebook.”

“Kanieshawa was so awesome! She took such great care of my puppy and sent me daily updates with photos. I am one happy customer and will definitely be returning with my dog. 10 out of 10!!!”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
