About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows. Feel free to give any advise on how to care better for your dog, and I will be more than happy to accommodate.

About: I have experience caring for an elderly dog who required daily medication and eye drops, so I understand the extra patience and attention that senior pets may need. I’m comfortable following medication schedules and ensuring pets receive the care they need. My dog is also very needy and loves constant attention, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs who want extra cuddles, companionship, and reassurance. I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities, and I’m happy to give them the time, patience, and attention they deserve. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, especially on my days off. I currently work 10-hour shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I am generally unavailable for extended daytime visits in those days. I have Thursdays and weekends off, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and longer stays. I’m also happy to work around my schedule when possible and communicate clearly with pet owners about my availability. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I would make sure they receive the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I always try to keep pets as comfortable and happy as possible by sticking to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I’ll follow their instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and anything else their pet needs. I’m also happy to give pets plenty of attention and companionship, especially if they like having someone.
