About: Hi! I've been a house sitter for around 8 years for family friends as well as family members. There have been various sized animals that I got to take care of, and ranged from a few weeks old to senior ages. I also have 5 dogs at my family home along with one cat and one snake. Currently, I work as an office manager at a fine jewelry store and work 5 days a week. I am looking to help families on vacation or anyone local looking for services that I can provide on my free time. I do work around 8 hour shifts and would need to verify the animal will be okay with being along for that period of time. I currently am on a schedule with family members that we all contribute to feeding the animals. I will tend to walk the dogs around four times weekly and take my cat outside for some time in the mornings. When servicing friends and families animals/homes I tend to the cleaning, medication times for pets, water plants, and make sure things are tidy.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since 1997; from dogs/cats-reptiles/fish & I was taught to treat them with just as much care, love & respect that you’d give a child. I’m familiar with their care, needs & certain levels of training. That being said, I hope to have the chance to meet yours & care for them while you're away! I currently work from home & have had some extra time on my hands. I recently came across Rover & thought it would be a perfect way to invest my spare time in an intentional/purposeful & financially lucrative way. About: I've spent the bulk of my life caring for animals (dogs, cats, small mammals, and even horses). Much of my experience has involved anxious and/or reactive dogs, who often do best with a calm environment and a consistent routine. I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior so I can respond before a dog becomes more stressed. I have also cared for rescue dogs whose backgrounds required patience and careful handling. That experience has taught me to notice stress signals that can be easy to miss, and to avoid pushing a dog beyond its comfort level. I follow the routines owners provide rather than changing what the dog is used to. I'm comfortable following medication instructions and specific feeding routines. I can also care for households with multiple pets (big or small, old or young). My goal is to keep each pet’s daily life as familiar as possible while the owner is away, so the pet can remain comfortable and secure in its normal environment. I’m currently in graduate school with a highly flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize the pets in my care. I keep my Rover calendar carefully updated and limit bookings so each pet receives attentive, individualized care.
