About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. About: Hello! My name is Nicole. I am a Sophomore in college at Appalachian State University. I currently have no other responsibilities besides school, so I am pretty flexible! I have a few months of Rover experience, and in that time, I got to care for both cats and dogs of different sizes and needs. I have a dog and a cat of my own, as well as 6 years of pet-sitting experience. These experiences included dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. In that time, I enjoyed being able to care for every one of them and got to form close bonds with each as well. Your pets’ safety and happiness are always my #1 priority, and I will always make sure to care for your pet to my fullest extent. This being said, no job is too big or small! I aim to create a stress-free and fun environment for everyone. I potty and crate trained my 3-year-old puppy. About: I have always been a HUGE dog lover. I was raised with dogs and there has never been a time where my family has not had a dog. In 2020 I started my own pet sitting business back home and accumulated over 60 clients. My business offers walks, drop-ins, training, overnight care, baths, and more! I have taken care of puppies, teens, middle-aged, and senior dogs. I have taken care of dogs with special needs and medical issues like diabetes. I started riding horses when I was 7 years old so there is no dog too big or too small! I take care of each and every dog like they are my own and I absolutely love my job. I cannot wait to meet your pup(s)! I am currently a full time student with a very flexible schedule. Class Tuesdays and Thursday 8am-10:45am. No class Monday, Wednesdays, or Fridays. I go to the gym once a day but that time is fit in work and school schedule! I offer pet care in the client's home. At the moment my roommate and I have 2 dogs one just being a few months old so I don't offer pet care in my apartment until he is older.

I can only house dogs that are friendly with other dogs, I stive to provide custom care that fits your needs and your pets. I am a full time student but with an easy class schedule. I am available any day and have flexible hours. I would be able to come home and care for pets at any time. About: I have animal shelter experience and as a result, have worked with several different types of animals with different personalities and am very flexible and capable of working with very different acting animals. I have a very open and free schedule so I'm able to come and check on the pets as often as needed. I can spend long periods of time with the pets when needed. In the clients home, I will care for them according to the clients standards and by following instructions down to the letter in order to prevent issues.

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I grew up with pets my whole life and have helped care for them in all ways including bathing, walks, medication distribution, nail trimming, and feeding. I have pet sat for loved ones, staying overnight. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, as well as large, medium, and small dogs! I will love your furry friend as if they’re my own! Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I have my own cat I take care of. I feed her every morning, play with her, give her flea medicine monthly, and scoop her litter daily. I also live with my childhood dog who is now a senior pup. I give her medicine, treats, keep track of her protein intake, walk her and make sure her water and food bowl is full. I care for pets in a loving way, being gentle with them and respecting all boundaries and reading their body language. I will ensure each and every pet has all their needs met and will give them lots of pets in between! I will respect the clients space and keep them updated on their pet throughout the time of service!

I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I have been pet sitting for the same family for the last 5 years since their jobs and family require them to leave often, but they want to make sure their animals never feel neglected by this. About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.
