Cat Sitting in Lyndon

About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

“We visit Stowe often and sometimes don’t bring our dog because we didn’t know anyone here that could do visits for her if we are out for a long period. Alison solved that problem! She did a great job with Maisy, while we were out all day - two visits, and Maisy warmed up to Alison quickly. When Maisy was timid at the beginning of the first visit, Alison knew just what to do to, and by the second visit Maisy welcomed Alison in with a wagging tail and led her all around the neighborhood on their walk. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have experience with potty training, walking dogs, and administering medications. I also have senior animal experience. I can do most evenings and weekends. I prefer to go to the pets home for their own comfort. Pet care is part of my daily routine. About: I've had pets of all ages for my entire life—cats and dogs as well as birds, fish, bunnies, rats... I am a huge animal lover—and it has a lot to do with my upbringing <3 My mom was the kind of person who would never kill a spider and instead gently scoop it up with a piece of paper and shuttle it outside to safety. I was lucky enough to grow up right on the ocean in Nova Scotia, surrounded on the other 3 sides by woods. So much wildlife! One time my mom found an injured Great Blue Heron in our yard, and somehow got it into our car and drove it to the vet, even though it pecked at her from the back seat the whole time lol! (The vet was able to mend its broken leg and release it back into the wild!) All this to say, looking after animals has always been a huge part of my life. I am often the person my friends contact when they need a pet-sitter while they go on vacation. I'm reliable, communicative, and intuitive. I'm always happy to administer medications (having done this for many of my own pets in their later years), follow specific diets and feeding schedules, go for walks, give extra cuddles (or less cuddles), whatever makes the animal and their human comfortable! I'm also happy to water your plants while you're gone, bring in your mail, refill the bird feeder, whatever you need within reason! I'm currently working from home building my coaching business, so I'm very flexible! I can work from anywhere since I do most of my coaching online, and I can set my own hours around your pet's needs. I will treat your fur-babies with as much care and tenderness as I treat my own. Every animal has their own distinct personality and routine, and I'm extremely respectful of each animal's individual needs. I'm constantly aware of how special this pet is to someone. There's a feeling of reverence—we are so lucky to have these amazing creatures in our lives <3

About: Since as early as I can remember I have grown up with dogs, and other animals. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, horses, and some exotic animals as well (small and large animals). I am always ready for a challenge and love spending time with any dog! I have experience in a variety of dog training areas including hunting dogs and service dogs. I am also a pre-veterinary student with basic animal care knowledge! I have worked with a variety of breeds ranging from retrievers and pointers to terriers and toy-breeds. I love working with dogs of all ages and am capable of caring for newborn puppies and your older furry friends! I also have over nine years of house-sitting and pet-sitting experience. Caring for pets is one of my passions so it is easy to make it a part of my daily routine, even while I'm working! About: Hello, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and turtles. For the past four years, I’ve mostly been house-sitting/taking care of a good neighbor/friend turtle who I love dearly. I’ve put her to bed and cleaned her cage, along with feeding her while sitting with her for 3+ hours most days. I’ve learned to care for pets as if they are my own and love all animals. :)) Pet care is a vital and seamless part of my daily and weekly routine. Over the past four years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and especially a neighbor's turtle, who I have grown to love dearly. Each day, I ensure that she is fed and her cage is cleaned, and I spend over three hours sitting with her, ensuring she feels loved and cared for. This routine has taught me to care for pets as if they were my own and deepened my love for all animals. Incorporating pet care into my schedule is crucial to me. I ensure my pet is happy and healthy, from morning walks to evening snuggles. Every activity, whether feeding, brushing, or playing, is an opportunity to deepen our bond and show my pets the love and attention they deserve. In addition to my ROTC commitments this summer, I am taking summer courses and have lacrosse practices. About: I've cared for all kinds of animals including farm animals like chickens and goats to typical house pets, Right down to a sugar glider once I have a wonderful schedule that allows me 3 days off. With school getting ready to pick back up again and winter on its way. I'm looking for a little extra income and what better way than to spend some hours with the best things on the planet, pets! Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are my days off so those are the days I will be available most often. Though, because I don't leave for work until noon, I would be open to morning drop-ins when possible on the weekends. It's important for pets to know they're taken care of fresh food and water. Some play time and company clean litter boxes and walks. Their comfort is key.

About: I've always been around animals growing up. I've cared for all different kinds of livestock, cats, dogs, and small animals like bunnies and reptiles (no snakes or spiders though yet). And I love every minute of it. I have over 10 years of professional pet caring experience. I've house/pet sat for family members before. And local people in my town. I've also worked and still work in horse boarding barns, small family owned barns, and a local large animal sanctuary. I've even volunteered at my local animal hospital multiple times. I'm always willing to bend to the clients personal request when it comes to caring for their fur babies and homes. Right now I'm still in school until June 8th 2025. I have 3 jobs. One is seasonal and 2 are year around. So my schedule has a lot going on. Luckily my jobs are pretty flexible making things like house/pet sitting doable. I'm a very patient person. So when it comes to dealing with pets and tasks I take things one step at a time. My pets are well loved and know it. I have never gotten a complaint from any past or present client. I am more then willing to communicate different needs and come up with a plan to make your pets and you getting to know me a good and relieving experience. I'm also more then happy to give regular updates and send lots of pictures.
