Barbara and Darryll are amazing!! Our Mozzy was so happy and well cared for while he stayed with them. They were quick to respond and respectful of our rules. Mozzy came home even better behaved than he had been! We are so grateful to them. It is good to know we have a great place for Mozzy to stay if we need to go out of town.

Our dog Willow loved her stay with Jennifer & John and hanging out with their dog Rosie. Willow's favorite part of her stay was the walks down to the river, she loves getting a little swim in when she can.

About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do on the side—it’s what I’ve built real experience in. I’ve worked hands-on with dogs for over three years in professional settings, including daycare, boarding, and off-leash adventures, and my most recent role was at a training facility where I learned how to safely manage dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also own a dog of my own, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is always to provide structured, attentive, and genuinely loving care so every dog feels safe, happy, and understood. I am also attending school to become a professional canine trainer. Pet care is my entire life. I have dedicated all 7 days of the week and 365 days of the year towards taking care of others and my own animals. Need last minute boarding due to a family emergency? I’m your girl. Everything else closed when you have work? I’m your girl. Taking a weekend trip but no where is open? I’m. Your. Girl. I am not only here for the convenience of you but also your beloved furry friends My yard is currently not fenced,(fence coming soon!) but I do offer leash training for more enjoyable walking experiences. I do daily walks for all dogs no matter the training level they are at. I have 1 very friendly lab mix who would keep your dog friendly dogs company, and I also offer special care for those special pups who are more people dogs than dog dogs for no additional charge. If your dog is crate trained they will be crated for bedtime (9pm-6am) with overnight potty breaks if your pup requires them as well. I keep all dogs and cats separated. Dogs have the downstairs of the home, and cats have the upstairs. I am comfortable with administering basically any medication except needles, the only needle exception being for diabetic animals.

Maria is an amazing sitter. I'm so glad she is close by. My dog Aidan is 14 and I didn't want to leave him at a traditional boarding kennel. Maria provided daily updates with pics which put me at ease while I was away, I could tell Aidan had a great time with her and Lalo. Plenty of play time and outdoor excursions.

They were so great!! Lika took a ton of pictures and videos of our dog Schnappi through the weekend which totally helped my separation anxiety lol. It made us feel good to see Schnappi playing and napping and knowing he was being taken care of so well. They followed the directions we left for feeding, medication, etc. well and were really communicative. They were able to help us out last minute when our friend had to cancel on dog-sitting, which was amazing. And then when my plane was super delayed Lika was really nice about me being late to pick him up. She also went above & beyond and delivered his food bowls to us after we forgot to bring them home. All around great experience, you can tell they're dog people and I will definitely rebook with them next time we need a sitter.

Kim was terrific - we booked a little late, but was able and willing to take my little guy. She sent me pics throughout his stay so I felt comfortable. We’d definitely hire Kim again.

Nina was awesome! My dog Mattis had a great boarding experience. I felt 100% comfortable knowing that Nina was taking such good care of my boy. Not only would I recommend Nina to others but will be asking her to sit for Mattis again soon.

About: With years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs, I provided loving care for my senior pup Brodie, who had one eye and mobility issues. I’ve looked after friends' dogs, from a nervous rescue from Ukraine to a brand-new puppy needing training. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with senior care, mobility challenges, anxious pups, and basic training-ensuring every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I work remotely, so I have plenty of time for walks and cuddles throughout the day. After 4 PM, I can focus on more hands-on care and training. I’m available for boarding every day and take daily walks in a lovely enclosed dog park near Preston Park. Weekends are completely free for boarding and pet sitting/drop ins. I don’t have a dog of my own, so your furry friend gets my full attention. I can easily crate your dog if needed and take them on daily walks in a secure enclosed park near Preston Park—or explore other spots based on their needs.

About: Hi! We’re Charlotte and Lucas. We’re animal lovers who have always had pets as part of our family, and caring for them is one of our favorite parts of daily life. Right now, we have a golden retriever who thinks everyone is his best friend and three cats who each have their own personalities. Our pets, as well as our lifetime of experience as pet caregivers has taught us how to juggle different needs, from high-energy walks to quiet cuddle time. We understand what it’s like to worry when you’re away from your pets, so we make sure the animals we care for feel loved, safe, and at home. Whether it’s tossing a ball until your pup is tired, giving extra patience to a shy cat, or just keeping up with daily routines, we will treat your pets just like our own! Taking care of pets is already part of our everyday life. We have a golden retriever and three cats at home, so our days naturally revolve around feeding, walks, play, and snuggles. Because we’re so used to that routine, it feels easy and natural to make time for other pets too. Between the two of us, we’re flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Depending on the day and time, either one of us will be available, and we’ll clearly communicate that with you when booking so you know who to expect. At the end of the day, we both just enjoy having more chances to spend time with animals. We know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe and cared for when you’re not there. When we’re in a client’s home, we’re respectful of your space and careful to follow your routines. We pay attention to details like locked doors, leashes, and food instructions, because we know consistency helps pets feel calm and secure. Most of all, we want you to feel at ease knowing your pets are being treated with the same love and care we give our own.

About: From a young age, I knew my life’s work would involve animals. I began horseback riding at age ten and quickly expanded into caring for the lesson horses, later managing a boarding barn and earning my riding instructor’s license. After moving to Vermont, I worked at an animal shelter for dogs and cats, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician, gaining extensive experience in animal care, health, and behavior. Now, I’m excited to focus on providing pets with comfort, safety, and companionship while their people are away. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for walks and visits. I'm available on the weekends for boarding and a couple of days during the week. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your family member company. We have lots of land and trails to walk on. I have a large crate available if needed.

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.
