“I booked Christin last minute before leaving for a long trip and I couldn’t have had a better sitter! She was so prompt about answering questions, provided detailed updates every day she visited, and even brought in packages that got delivered to my home! She was also incredibly flexible when I had to extend my travel by another week. My two cats were definitely in good hands while I was gone and having Christin looking after them made me feel better about being away for so long! I cannot recommend her enough for any and all pet sitting needs!”

“Sofia was fantastic—super accommodating and flexible, very communicative, and such a sweet and gentle caregiver for my kitty. I boarded Kiwi with her for a week on super short noticed, and she was willing to go above and beyond with pick up / drop off, daily medicine giving, and regular photo updates. I wish she lived in Boston year-round so that she could be my go-to sitter when I’m away for work trips! I’d 10/10 recommend Sofia to anyone looking for a Rover sitter!”

“Barbora was the best cat sitter I have ever had! She provided daily updates and was fantastic with communication. She made sure my older cat was well taken care of and she must be an animal whisperer because this is the first time I came home from a long trip to a happy and calm fur baby. I would book with her again!”

“Emma was wonderful! We had her do drop-in visits for our cat, Winnie, while we were out of town for a long weekend. She is a true cat person and did a great job keeping us updated with cute and funny pics of Winnie every day 😸 I would 100% recommend her and will be booking her again in the future!”

“Madelyn was professional and communicative, and were sure she got along great with our kitty! She also went out of her way to retrieve an important package that was delivered while we were away.”

“Thank you to Lauren for the drop-in on my 3 pups. She had to contend with a rainy day in which 2 of my 3 have to be coaxed outside in the rain! Appreciate her patience and would recommend her to others.”

“We arrived home this evening and all the cats were fine. The litter boxes definitely had been scooped and the house was in great shape. This has been the best Rover sitter experience we’ve had. Thank you so very much, Kelly!”

About: My family has had dogs and cats all of my childhood and friends pets in recent years. I have learned about all sorts of animal needs in the process. I have been relied on to watch older dogs, younger cats, anxious shelter dogs and pets on medication. I work 2 jobs that keep me busy for half of a day. I tend to be a somewhat early riser but I'm able to stay up later if necessary for your pet's needs. I am able to sit with pets in the morning and overnight. Due to work I’m able to sit in the evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. When watching pets in other people's homes, I try to disrupt the pet's routines and living space as little as possible. Depending on how involving your pet might be, I am able to step in and make sure your pet is comfortable while maintaining your boundaries within your home. I want to ensure your pet is comfortable around me.

“This was our first time having Kaylee look after our two cats, Pepper and Willie. Her communication was exceptional and she sent pictures everyday. The house was left tidy, kitty litter area super clean, mail on the counter, and two happy cats to come home to. Kaylee is very conscientious and spent time getting to know and play with the cats. We were so please with her care, we have already booked her for a week in June!”

“Alaina did a great job! Churro was so happy to have someone walk him and play with him during the day. So thankful! We would definitely hire Alaina again for future visits.”

About: I took two years of a veterinary medicine class in high school where my main duties included taking care of class pets such as dogs, snakes, tortoises, rats, and leopard geckos. I worked at a local zoo for six months focusing on the housing of animals including chickens, goats, and tortoises. I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends since I was 12. I volunteer to walk dogs at a local shelter during my free time and I currently own a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko! I’m currently a third year college student, but I still make time to take care of pups! I’m free all day Wednesdays and weekends, other days I’m only available after 5pm! I treat every pet as if they were my own. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important routines are so I stick to them while still giving lots of attention and playtime, and keeping their environment clean and calm.

About: I’ve been in a constant home of taking care of animals from a young age. I’ve trained over 6 dogs for basic training and have homed three cats. I’m versatile when it comes to new puppies as well as senior dogs. I’m a part time student so I’m mostly free in the evenings on weekdays and the weekends. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

About: I have owned and taken care of many animals since I was young including exotic and livestock animals. I have experience with training two very different breeds of dogs, one currently still in training. I work with kids at a summer camp fulltime but between me and my fiance the pets are never alone for more than 4 hours. My weekends are fully open and that's usually when I go on more enriching activities such as hikes, lakes, ECT. My cats at home are allowed to free roam and usually keep to themselves but my dog stays mostly in her pen because she's still being house trained. My house is on the smaller side so best suited for small to medium dogs instead of large.

“Literally the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. Communication was super easy to set up our appointments and they took photos of our cat for us each visit. Our cat is spoiled and we appreciate everything !”

About: I have 2 years of experience working with a pet care business as well as pet sitting for family and friends! I have experience with both dogs and cats as well as small pets. I have administered oral medication multiple times to both dogs and cats, as well as assisting with insulin injections for cats. I am also dog CPR trained. As of now my schedule is from Sunday to Friday. I am flexible with visiting times and hours and would be willing to commit to scheduled weekly or daily visits if needed by owners. While walking dogs or providing drop in visits I am very respectful of the pet I am visiting as well as the home and privacy of the owner. I follow directions left by owner closely and attentively. I respect the pet and approach them calmly as possible to make sure we are both comfortable! I communicate with the owner closely to let them know how their pet is doing. I will also provide feedback on how the visit went and if there is anything the owner should be aware of as well as sending photos!

“Karissa is kind, caring, and always detailed in her notes and communicative about how our pets are doing while we’re away! She’s also good about bringing in mail and packages which gives us peace of mind”

“Mercedes watched my dog Beans on multiple occasions and was super accommodating with her training and schedule needs. Because she has a remote job, she was able to spend more time focusing on Beans and not leaving her alone to run around. Beanie has had several behavioral issues with digging through trash, chewing clothes/blankets, and peeing on the floor out of anxiety. Mercedes handled all of them with patience, diligence, and a smile.”

She is a avid pet owner to several reptiles and we shared a commonality in having our own mini-schnauzer dogs. She took care of my Elvis when I was out of town and walked, bathed and cared for him.....he almost never wanted to come home. Her passion goes into her current studied of pre-vet with aim at going to Vet School eventually in UC Davis, which I know she will achieve. No doubt that she is a top caregiver and person to have you animal around!!”
