“We were very unsure about leaving our bichon. After being attacked by a German Shepard he has been very apprehensive about other dogs. Victoria was great and reassured me that she could keep him separated if needed. She was so great and made him comfortable enough that separation wasn't necessary. He only stayed for one day but she was great about letting us know that he was doing just fine.”

“Jax had the best time with Bailie! From the daily pictures it appeared he was part of the family from day one and got constant attention. He got daily nature walks and got to hang with the family. Bailie is also quick to responding on the app and doing whatever is asked. Bailie has a really cool set up for the dogs in the kennel room and where she lives is just a dogs paradise. I plan on taking Jax back in the future if there is an opening.”

“Christy was great...sent lots of pictures and updates. My Stu had so much fun he was tuckered out and slept like a baby when he got home. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Kortney was amazing. She tooksuch great care of my handsome boy over the few days he stayed with her that he was sad to leave her. I'm absolutely going to plan play dates with her and definitely rebook. I received pictures, video, and updates about him. I was very happy with her and her service.”

“Angie is great! She was super flexible when my flight got cancelled and needed Moose to stay a couple extra days. He had fun with her dogs and she kept me updated with pictures daily. We will definitely come to her again in the future!”

“I cannot thank Lavar and Amber enough! I was so worried I would not find someone to care for my elderly high maintenance Yorkie, who just lost his 25 year doggie companion. I did a few meet and greets to make sure we found a family who would really care for him and he would not burden. He has dementia, wears a diaper wrap, takes medication, gets up early and needs some extra care. It gave me peace of mind that he was in such a safe caring environment and his needs did not disrupt their daily lives. They are experienced having cared for their own elderly dog in the past so that was reassuring they are familiar with what to do if he gets confused. You could tell Bowser was comfortable and happy the whole time and we received pictures and updates. We did not have to be worried and think twice while on a week long trip. We are so thankful to have found them to use in the future. They are worth the extra drive to Franklin! We appreciate them so much.”

“Juniper had such a great time with Lisa. Her property is beautiful and spacious and so peaceful. You can tell that everyone is well loved and cared for. When I arrived to pick up Juniper she was running around and playing with all of the other dogs. Highly recommend!!”

“My sweet cat loved staying with Carla! She had enough privacy to do her kitty thing and enough activity to keep her little mind occupied. Will definitely book again. Thank you!!”

“Brian and his family were excellent caregivers for Rex while we were gone. They sent frequent pictures and text updates to let us know how he was. Plus, Rex loved them and wanted to be by their side, which is a great sign! The large piece of property was perfect for Rex to run around and get some exercise. We would definitely choose them to watch him again! Highly recommended!”

“Absolutely astoundingly wonderful. She is knowledgeable, caring, and even with our diabetic sr. And highly active 15 mo old pup and we can’t say enough about her care of our beloved labs. Words are not enough. She’s our woman long into the future. Thank you, Alexa!”

“Alexis was great with my one stay with Roxy. She took the pup on a walk and gave her lots of love and treats. She has a very loving and welcoming home that my dog felt immediately at ease. Home was clean organized and well taken care of! 5/5 will book again.”

About: I’m a homeowner with a huge fenced in backyard. I WFH so potty breaks and play time is not a problem. I have a 70lb golden retriever who loves to play. I take my own dog for a minimum of two walks a day. Most days I get out three or four times. I have a huge fenced in backyard for in between walks. I have a very sweet 5 year old golden who loves other dogs. I have experimented caring for super young all the way to end of life care for senior dogs.
“OMG! WOW! Melissa is the best ever. She coddled our dogs Zena (Goberian) and Maddie (Siberian Husky) with love and care. You don't get this kind of care boarding at a Kennel. We hope she will have our babies in the future. There is good, better and best, but Melissa was outstanding!”

“Madison did a great job with maisy on a long stay! She sent lots of pics and maisy loved snuggling with her. Maisy got sick during the stay and Madison took care of everything. This is especially helpful because I was out of the country and couldn’t be reached.”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Lyles is $50

Christina is wonderful and she helped me with the last minute booking. My dog enjoyed his stay there. The communication was good Christina was really responsive and she was at giving updates with photos and videos. She is the best sitter and I cannot recommend her enough

Christina and Brandon were so kind and loving to our two fur babies while we recently went out of town for a week! We had such peace of mind with all of the daily photos Christina sent. So grateful to find such a sweet home away from home for our girls and so sweet of their two precious pups to share their home and owners with us. We will gladly be back 💕🐾

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
