“Buddy had yet another great day with Lucy and her crew! Buddy has a difficult history and he was not well-socialized when we rescued him 3.5 years ago. It's been a challenging journey but let me tell you, he LOVES hanging out at Lucy's! Buddy is my Velcro™ dog and often isolates himself when I'm not home, but he happily bounds out of the car and into the house when we roll up. Other dogs have been hit-or-miss for him, but Buddy seems to have a lot of fun with Remi as well. Lucy sends lots of photos and I can tell that Buddy is having a great time, and he's always happy and tired when we pick him up. As a dog mom whose fur babies are the center of my universe, I'm cautious about where I leave my boys, and Lucy is definitely my go-to gal. I highly recommend her and look forward to many more happy play dates for Buddy.”

About: Grew up in a dog loving home and loved going to dog shows. I have experience watching friends and family dogs when they're away. We have 2 friendly dogs of our own and they would be welcoming to your dog. We have lots of property for the dogs to run and play and a trail out back for the dogs to explore. Our yard does have an invisible fence with a collar if you're concerned.

He gets separation anxiety if we leave him home to go out even. Joey loves other dogs, and Sarah has a fun playful dog, Cooper. Cooper is about the same age as Joey and they even look alike! They are BEST BUDDIES, and Joey couldnt wait to go over there to play the last time. He loves running around in the yard with Cooper and they enjoy going out on walks, etc. Sarah has done a great job and Joey loves it there! Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
