“Angelina was amazing! She definitely helped us a ton! Our babies loved having her visit with them and we definitely had a piece of mind. We have never let anyone watch our babies before and she made it very comfortable for us! Thanks again!”

“Abby was absolutely wonderful! She even agreed to watch our pups even though she had homecoming this weekend! She was very thorough in her reports and always sent me photos from each visit. She was very respectful and polite when we first met, I definitely recommend booking with Abby! I plan to work with her again! Thanks so much Abby! ??”

About: I've had dogs my whole life, I have also worked at the local animal shelter and volunteered to walk the pups who had been there the longest. I have experience with all animals, and dogs are just so much fun. I currently work 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) but the times listed will be accurate to when I can come by. Unless asked for different times by owner. My cats are very spoiled and are 4 and 10 years old. Their names are Sushi and Goose. I am very respectful of any and all rules pertaining to the house and the animals.
“Kelsey was so good with our cats. Lollipop is wary of strangers but I think she warmed up to Kelsey after the first day or so. I think our cats are more comfortable in our home when we travel and I felt like they were in good hands during our time away.”

“Cheyenne did an amazing job! She took very good care of the dogs she was booked for and even played with my cats and animals that weren't booked. Usually my animals don't take to people right away and they took to her immediately!”

“Hannah was reliable, flexible and responsive to my requests and messages. My animals seems at ease with her which allowed me to enjoy my time away knowing that they were being cared for and in good, capable hands!”
“100% I recommend BRANDON!!! I was in a bind, contacted him and he responded within 10 minutes. He was very communicative throughout the visit and was great with my energetic Weimaraner, Maggie. Thank you Brandon!”

“Ashley is a godsend. I know when I’m away, my kitty cats are in great hands. I’m always thrilled when Ashley is available to cat sit for me. She’s the ultimate professional…on the ball and responsive.”

About: I"ve been a dog (all sizes), cat, and reptile momma since I was 13. I am seasoned at giving medications if needed and loving on your fur babies (if they allow it). I recently lost my Sadie, she was almost 13. I'm hoping this will help me fill that void while I process the grief. I will gladly reinforce your training and care routine. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 9 years old and have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I had a Labrador Retriever and Weimaraner mix who was absolutely precious. She passed away on April 3, 2026, which was very difficult, but caring for her taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and the importance of providing dogs with love and attention. I currently have a Boxer, a Cocker Spaniel, and a Chihuahua, so I’m comfortable handling both large and small breeds. Through caring for my own dogs and helping family members and friends with theirs, I’ve gained experience with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic grooming, administering medications when needed, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I’m familiar with different energy levels and temperaments, from active, playful dogs who need plenty of exercise to older or more relaxed dogs who prefer a calmer routine. Family and friends know they can rely on me to provide dependable and attentive care for their pets. I always make sure every dog is happy, well-fed, exercised, and given plenty of love and attention while their owners are away. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. I currently work part time and attend college classes, so I understand the importance of being organized and responsible with my time. My classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I typically work Friday evenings. My work schedule is posted about a week and a half in advance, which allows me to communicate my availability clearly and plan ahead for pet care. Outside of those commitments, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I am committed to providing reliable care, regular updates, and plenty of attention to every pet. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping a dog company, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I have a securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get plenty of exercise. I also have three friendly dogs who are well socialized and enjoy meeting new canine friends. I always supervise introductions and interactions to make sure every dog feels comfortable and safe. For dogs that are crate trained or need their own space, I have both a small crate and a large crate available. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I do my best to accommodate them. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, or stick to a specific schedule, I’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and comfort they deserve while you’re away.

I don’t really do much besides be home and workout so taking care of animals fits right in and i love getting to know them. I make sure they are well fed, walked, and played with to obtain that happiness and playfulness , we love to see in every dog.
About: Young professional adult looking for some work. I have an open schedule when it comes to availability! I have grown up with animals all my life. I currently live in a house with 1 dog. I also have lived with cats on and off throughout my adolescence. My dog is a cat lover and a very gentle boy. I do know how to perform CPR and first aid on both dogs and cats if it were to ever come down to it. I would prefer to watch/supervise your pets in your home for the the sole purpose of the pet’s comfort level. Also so I can give your pet all my undivided attention to provide the most comfort for them. Spreading love to all the fur babies! I am currently working part time. I am able to adjust my schedule to accommodate needs of your pet(s) if needed. I am big on reliability. I am easily adaptable to new environments and follow instructions well. I can easily adjust to you pet(s) needs and schedules. I will abide by all house rules and clean up after myself and your pet(s).
“We cannot say enough great things about Alexis! She recently watched our dogs again, and just like always, she did an amazing job. From daily updates to thoughtful care, she treats our pups like they’re her own. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands when we’re away. Our dogs absolutely love her, and we feel completely at ease leaving them in her care. From here on out, Alexis will always be our go-to person for dog sitting. Reliable, caring, and professional—she’s simply the best!”

About: I have grown up with and taken care of dogs my entire life. I also volunteered at the Kershaw County Humane Society. I love spending time with our furry friends and bringing joy to their day-to-day life! I am currently home for the summer after wrapping up my freshman year of college, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I typically have social events Thursday and Friday evenings, and my Saturdays and Sundays are relatively free (all other days of the week are open). I would take care of your dog(s) based on your instructions. Some might want longer walks while others might need shorter ones. It all depends on the individual. I'd love to get to know your furry family member!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
