Information Cheyenne L. would like to know about your pet

UPDATED VACCINATIONS ARE REQUIRED Getting to know your pet is incredibly important to me. I love learning about their personality, daily routines, preferences, and any fears they may have so I can provide the most comfortable, attentive care possible. Before the meet and greet, I kindly ask for a bit of information about your pet, including any medical needs, their activity level, and how they typically respond to strangers entering the home. The more I know ahead of time, the better prepared I am to give your pet calm, loving, and personalized care. After our meet and greet, I’ll provide a Veterinarian Release Form for you to review and sign via the Rover app. This form gives me consent to take your pet to either your regular Veterinarian or CVETS Emergency Care in Columbia should an emergency ever occur. Your peace of mind and your pet’s safety always come first. If you will not be the primary contact during the scheduled visit, please let me know in advance and provide the contact information of the person I should communicate with.

A typical day

No matter their age or energy level, fun, loving care is always in the air! I tailor each visit to your pet’s needs — whether that means an energetic walk, gentle play, or cozy cuddle time if they’d rather relax. When taking your pup for a walk, I carefully inspect the leash, harness, and collar beforehand to ensure everything is secure. Once outside, they will remain on leash at all times, have access to cool, clean water, and enjoy potty breaks as needed. Walks are focused and calm, with no interactions with other dogs or people to avoid unnecessary distractions. If your pup does become distracted, I gently redirect them using a calm, positive approach and small, high-quality training treats (only with your approval). After the walk, fresh water is provided in a clean bowl. If time allows, I’ll also include a five-minute wind-down with cuddles or playtime using their favorite toy — a perfect way to end on a happy, relaxed note. Drop-in visits always include a potty break as soon as I arrive and another before I leave, with additional breaks in between if needed. Water bowls are cleaned with dish soap and water when necessary and refreshed at the start of each visit (with or without ice, depending on the temperature), then topped off again before I go. If I am to feed them, your instructions will be followed closely. Food bowls that are left out will be cleaned and refilled according to your instructions. I’m also happy to help with small household tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants — always included at no extra charge. If your fur baby is to be crated while alone, the crate will be securely latched and double checked at the end of the stay. If you have multiple furry children who need separation, please be informed that I will allocate equal time to each of them. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my priority, and I care for every home and animal as if they were my own *Please note: walks during drop-in visits are not included. If you require a walk, please let me know, and I will make sure to accommodate you. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, please schedule individual walks (available at a small discount). The following are drop-in visit add on charge rates for dog walking: - $45 for 60 minutes - $22 for 30 minutes - $8 for 15 minutes

Pet care experience

I truly love providing personalized, one-on-one care for every fur-baby I meet. Each one is unique, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. Safety, reliability, and clear communication are at the heart of everything I do. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of caring for multiple dogs and cats of my own. I’ve also assisted family and friends with dog walking and pet care, and I’ve even volunteered at local shelters. Throughout my life, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both cats and dogs, and I genuinely believe that I’m a blend of both species, with a touch of humanity thrown in!

Cheyenne has been amazing for our family! She sends loads of photos, collected important packages for us, and stayed with our pups when our flight was delayed by HOURS. She is very dependable and great with our crew.

Cheyenne has been amazing with our four pups on drop in visits. They’re a lot to handle but we always come home to happy, well cared for furry family! She’s so communicative, prompt, and manages to take the best photos during her visit. We will continue to use Cheyenne regularly until she cuts us off due to our neediness.

We recently went to Europe and were super anxious about leaving our 3 dogs at home, but Cheyenne has been sitting for us for a while and reassured us that everything would be fine. I left copious notes, needs, and favors of her while we were away and she delivered beautifully. Our dogs were healthy and happy and our home was clean and tidy. We are so thankful we have her so we can enjoy our time away (like far away) without worrying about our pups at home. We already have her booked for another trip this month.
