“Amanda was amazing! She did drop by visits for my 2 cats, one of which is very shy and the other is sometimes finicky with anyone who isn’t me. She was very patient with both of them and sent status updates and pictures which had the perfect amount of detail to let me know how they were doing while on vacation. She was also very responsive to messages and I never felt like I was waiting on her reply. She was well informed on taking care of animals and shows a great passion for animals as well! On top of that she went above and beyond what I needed her to do and also washed their water fountain and food bowls which I never even mentioned because I didn’t need her to do that! All in all, my cats are happy and healthy and she saved me from a couple extra chores I would’ve had to do upon returning home!”
About: I got my first dog when I was three and have always had 5+ animals in the house. I am good with any breed of dog. I have some puppy training experience and I can also work with disability animals. I just need to know if they have medication and the time to take them or other accommodations that they might need. I’m not sure if people have reptiles that need sitting but I’m good with those too. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with puppies or any other animals. I have always had a soft spot for animals so I love spending time with them. I have a dog who gets taken potty every couple of hours and is fed every morning and every night. I also have a cat and two leopard geckos. My cat and dog are usually upstairs so I can keep the other animals downstairs if they’re not pet friendly. My geckos stay in my room.

About: I’ve grown up around big and small dogs all my life. I have also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors and love to take my German shepherd on runs. I live at home right now and am taking one class online and work-part time so I will have lots of time to play with your pets and snuggle them. I make sure the animal will stay within boundaries if they have to stay in a fence and will make sure that they get all meds needed or food on time.
About: I have dog sit for my aunt for a couple of years now and she says I do an amazing job and will recommend to others. I work Monday through Saturday but I have time I. The evening and in the morning to make sure they are taken care of. I know my schedule is a little Chaotic. I will do what is needed for that animal in that clients home. “Latasha was wonderful! All the cats loved her as soon as they met her. She has a natural talent when it comes to getting to know your pets. She sent pictures of our cats to us everyday on vacation and was super responsive on her phone when we wanted to see our pets. It was such a relief knowing that she was here with them. One of the things I appreciated the most was that when we got here it was as clean as when we left it. She took all the notes and she performed the tasks laid out to her exactly like we did with the cats. She also helped keep them on their schedule by following their feeding times. Latasha played with them which is honestly more than I do sometimes. They may have gotten a little spoiled with all the attention lol. Each day she would send images but she'd also send a little story or observation of the cat. That was nice because it helped us to know that they were acting in their usual ways and not sad that we were gone and missed us. I would 1000% book Latasha again. If you've never had a cat sitter (we hadn't) she will answer all your questions and really set your nerves at ease.”

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
