“Nikki is AMAZING and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Rover sitter! She goes above and beyond to make sure your fur children are safe, happy, and entertained while in her care. Quigley loves going to boarding or daycare with Nikki and her fur babies! Plus Quigley always comes back to me tired from all of the play and fun he has had! Can’t wait for our next stay with Nikki”

“Rachell took care of my dog like he was one of her own! He was able to get all the socialization, playtime, and cuddles that he needs. Rachell sent me pictures and kept me updated on my dog so I never once worried.”

“Jade was a very great fit to watch and take care of Dozer! She kept me up dated and sent me pictures of him! I will definitely recommend her and use her again if I go on! Dozer is very happy and sleepy after his couple night stay with her!”

“Eric and Morgan were super responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter! They also accepted my booking request right after I made it even though it was short-notice”

“I don’t ever need to look for another sitter again after finding Tiffiny and her family. She was amazing for the entire time my boy stayed with her. She was above and beyond and always made sure I was up to date and had pictures and videos everyday. Book with her if you care about your pets safety because they will be taken very great care of.”

“Our two little dogs spent over 2 weeks with Misty and her family. Misty updated us and sent photos daily, and the dogs had a great time. One is older with Cushing's disease, needing special care and meds, and Misty was great in taking good care of her. Our little dogs were happy, looking out the windows, playing in the yard, going for walks, and being loved. It was a great experience and we plan to use Misty again on future trips.”

“Five stars! This was our first time leaving the dogs with someone in Rover. I was very nervous. The dogs loved Sherry and we will use her again in the future. She sends pictures with updates. Sherry is kind and understanding. Our little senior chihuahua has a lot of trust issues and doesn’t care for people, but he enjoyed Sherry’s company. Thank you Sherry for keeping our kiddos safe and happy!”

“Stephanie was wonderful and she took great care of our sweet pup while we were gone. She communicated with us daily, sent multiple pictures, and was always very prompt to respond to all questions. Upon our return after 9 days, it was clear that our dog was loved and well cared for - he was happy and he even came home with some goodies. We will absolutely have him stay with her again and I would recommend her for sure!”

“Freckles was well taken care of and we had no worries leaving him with Dave. We received pictures and updates daily and will definitely use Dave going forward when we need a sitter!”

“We did a trial weekend with Beth, just a little sleepover for both of our pups. One of our dogs is very nervous around new people and has a lot of anxiety when put in new situations. Beth kept me updated with pictures and messages about how she was improving and making strides at being around them! Beth and her family are just the best. She will be our go to sitter for both our pups in the future! ❤️”

“Tamara was very responsive and helpful in coordinating Willow's weekend stay. She shared pics and updates. I could tell my pup got lots of love and attention. She also had a blast playing with Tamara's pups. I'm hoping to continue to bring Willow there for doggie day care and even longer boarding visits.”

“Taylor & Sam were amazing! Communicative, treated the dogs so well. Daily updates & lots of exercise. Also flexible because of my hectic schedule. I haven’t felt this comfortable with someone watching my dogs for awhile. Great job!”

“This was our first experience with the Rover.com app. I was a little nervous leaving my baby for 10 days, I have to admit. But Blake was awesome with our dog and me. He has 2 sweet dogs and they all got along great. He sent me pics and communicated with me daily. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor space. I will def use him again. Our pup can be finicky but she did great. All Good!!!”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of my Charlie. The frequent updates, photos, and videos helped so much to put my mind at ease. I’m so grateful for all you did to go above and beyond over a holiday weekend.”

“Taryn was very accommodating for my two corgis. I was a little worried at first because one of my dogs can be a little aggressive toward new dogs. Taryn was able to introduce the dogs properly and assured me that she would be able to separate them if there was ever any issues. Everything worked out fine and my boys received all the love and attention they needed.”

“Samantha and her family were fantastic with Fannie, she was very responsive to a last minute request and kept us in the loop on how the weekend was going with our sweet girl. Fannie had a great time :)”

“Amanda was amazing! She did drop by visits for my 2 cats, one of which is very shy and the other is sometimes finicky with anyone who isn’t me. She was very patient with both of them and sent status updates and pictures which had the perfect amount of detail to let me know how they were doing while on vacation. She was also very responsive to messages and I never felt like I was waiting on her reply. She was well informed on taking care of animals and shows a great passion for animals as well! On top of that she went above and beyond what I needed her to do and also washed their water fountain and food bowls which I never even mentioned because I didn’t need her to do that! All in all, my cats are happy and healthy and she saved me from a couple extra chores I would’ve had to do upon returning home!”

“Leigh's care for our senior cat, Diesel, was truly remarkable! She is an absolute gem! During our vacation, she provided 7 days of outstanding care for our 18-year-old senior cat, Diesel. The level of communication was excellent! Leigh kept us updated multiple times a day about Diesel's well-being. Coming home to a spotless house after a long day of travel was the perfect ending to vacation. She went above and beyond in caring for Diesel and our home and exceeded all expectations. We are deeply grateful to have found Leigh; she's far more than a pet sitter to us—she's a remarkable human who provided the best care possible for Diesel.”

“Madison was great – very communicative, followed all instructions, and Sunny was in great spirits when I returned. My place looked exactly the same as how I left it. I would definitely hire Madison again!”

She took amazing care of our two geriatric cats who need pills and injections, and gave us assurance that they were on track with their meds. We got so many excellent photos at each visit, and we knew that our babies were getting lots of play and cuddle time. We'll be repeat customers with Diane again - highly recommend!”

“My husband and I have never gone anywhere without our precious Molly. We have our son’s destination wedding to attend this month. We have both agonized over leaving Molly behind. A kennel or doggy day care was definitely out of the question. I had heard of Rover so we checked it out. Karissa is a Godsend. Her yard is perfect, she is affectionate and I know in my heart Molly will be exceptionally well cared for. We dropped Molly off this week for a trial day before leaving her a whole week. Karissa kept us updated with pictures and notes throughout the stay. Finding Karissa has eased our anxiety about leaving Molly. I highly recommend checking with Karissa if you are looking for a passionate, reliable sitter.”

About: My wife and I are a dedicated pet-loving team who will treat your pets like family. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, and my wife is a trained veterinarian with over 10 years of experience in Mexico. She’s currently working as a vet tech as she works towards the ECFVG certification which will allow her to practice as a veterinarian here in the U.S., bringing a deep understanding of animal health and behavior to every visit. We currently share our home with 3 dogs, 1 cat, 9 chickens, and 2 turkeys—so we’re no strangers to pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication, or just someone patient and kind, you can trust that they’ll be in safe, experienced hands with us. I work from home full-time, so your pet will have plenty of companionship and care throughout the day. I’m often outside with our own dogs, so your pet will enjoy lots of fresh air, playtime, and supervision. My wife works four days a week but is home in the mornings and afternoons, so between the two of us, someone is almost always around to give your pet the attention they need. Whether your dog loves being active or just relaxing with company, they’ll feel right at home here. Your pet’s safety is our top priority. We have a fenced backyard where smaller dogs can roam safely. For larger dogs, we use a secure tie-out cable system to give them outdoor time while keeping them safely contained. Inside the home, we can easily separate pets if needed—our basement and main living area are fully divided, making it simple to create calm, stress-free environments for each animal. Our chickens and turkeys are kept in a fully enclosed outdoor coop, well away from visiting pets, so there’s no risk of unwanted interactions. You can trust that your pet will be cared for in a safe, secure, and attentive environment

For the past year I have taken care of 2 other dogs and the best quality that I have is I am flexible and will do last minute tasks for the clients I have. “Alvin goes to Beth’s 4-5 days a week. It’s been a few rough weeks for Alvin. He had surgery 10/1 and had a cone/collar for 12 days. She was great with keeping him from scratching but still be playful. He learned how to scoop the ball with the cone! We absolutely love the care he receives with Beth and her family!”

About: Charismatic and outgoing animal lover with 16 years experience owning pets, and hundreds of hours volunteering at the humane society in 3 different states. I grew up with cats, but could not own a dog until I moved out on my own, so I quickly got my first baby Alice the first chance I could. My fur babies include a 13 year old sweet beagle mix, Alice 🌈 and two gentle loving cats, Poppy and Millie. All of my animals have been around other animals their whole lives and get along with all creatures. I prefer not to board cats, but can keep your cat in a closed bedroom for their stay. I would love to open my doors to help out families in need of a more personal way to board their pets when they are away. Your animals must get along with cats and small children. I have a very flexible schedule so I have the ability to care for your pet throughout the day, depending on your pets individuals needs. My pets have free range of the house. Visitors dogs can be crated if needed or have free range of the house if ok left unsupervised.

About: I got my first dog when I was three and have always had 5+ animals in the house. I am good with any breed of dog. I have some puppy training experience and I can also work with disability animals. I just need to know if they have medication and the time to take them or other accommodations that they might need. I’m not sure if people have reptiles that need sitting but I’m good with those too. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with puppies or any other animals. I have always had a soft spot for animals so I love spending time with them. I have a dog who gets taken potty every couple of hours and is fed every morning and every night. I also have a cat and two leopard geckos. My cat and dog are usually upstairs so I can keep the other animals downstairs if they’re not pet friendly. My geckos stay in my room.
About: My friends tell me that I am an animal whisperer haha! I love the company of an animal and giving it all of my love! I love walking for fitness and love it even more when I have a pup to join me. While pet sitting, I can also care for plants, etc. I enjoy gardening so if you have a garden and require house/pet sitting, consider me your person! My schedule is very flexible. About: I’ve been in a dog household for as long as I can remember, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. From feeding and walking to playtime and giving them lots of attention, I’m very comfortable handling dogs and making sure they feel happy and safe. Being around dogs daily growing up has helped me understand their different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I’m also a very active person, which makes dog walking something I truly enjoy. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, a longer energy-burning outing, or just some companionship while you’re away, I’m happy to provide it. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, so I can give your dog the attention and care they deserve. My goal is always to make sure every dog feels comfortable, exercised, and loved while in my care. I treat every dog like they’re my own and want both you and your pet to feel confident and at ease. I’m currently a student at a local university, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I typically have classes from 10 AM to 1 PM on most weekdays, but outside of that time I have plenty of availability for dog walks, drop-ins, or pet care. I’m usually free in the mornings before class, afternoons after 1 PM, and evenings. Because I have a lighter schedule outside of class, I’m able to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. I’m happy to work with owners to find times that best fit their dog’s routine and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and any specific care your pet may need. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection during visits. Whether that means going for a walk, playing with their favorite toys, or simply keeping them company, I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s personality and energy level. I also understand how important communication is for pet owners, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and doing well. I will always treat your home and your pets with respect and care.

Starting in August I will be attending Maryville University as well. In my home, I only have one dog who honestly does get spoiled to death but he loves it that way. About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! I currently am not working, as I have just recently graduated from Saint Louis University. In other words, I am more often than not, completely available to work anytime on Weekdays and Weekends. However, on June 1st, I will be starting an internship that requires 20 hours a week but my schedule is extremely flexible, as the internship is willing to adjust to whatever schedules I have. Because of my flexible availability, I am able to spend as much time with your fur baby as you would like me to. Whether it be cuddling, playing, or going outside, I will provide all of my attention and services to the care of your animals.
About: Hi, I’m Erica — a highly experienced animal care professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets and farm animals of all kinds. I’m trained as a veterinary assistant, including assisting with surgeries, administering medications, and caring for senior, disabled, and post-operative animals. I specialize in calm, consistent, in-home care for pets who do best staying in their familiar environment. Many of my clients have animals with medical needs, anxiety, blindness, mobility challenges, or strict routines, and they trust me to provide compassionate, detail-oriented care while they’re away. I’m also very comfortable with multi-pet households, rural properties, and farm animals. Having grown up on a farm myself, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for animals large and small, as well as maintaining a home and property with respect and reliability. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind, keep your pets safe and happy, and treat your home with the same care I would my own. -20+ years caring for animals of all species and temperaments -Veterinary assistant training, including surgery assistance -Medication administration (oral, topical, injections if required) -Special-needs pets (blind, senior, diabetic, post-surgical, anxious) -Farm and rural animal care -House sitting and extended stays -Potty training and behavioral reinforcement -I’m calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and deeply respectful of routines — especially when animals depend on consistency. Pet care is intentionally woven into my daily and weekly routine, not added on as an afterthought. I structure my schedule around the animals in my care so they receive consistent attention, enrichment, and calm companionship throughout the day. This allows me to be fully present for feedings, walks, playtime, medication needs, and individualized routines, while also offering flexibility for pets who need extra time, patience, or reassurance. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s what my days are built around. Safety, trust, and comfort are the foundation of every service I provide. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize calm, consistency, and close supervision. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so their care feels familiar and stress-free. In my home, pets are welcomed into a clean, secure, and peaceful environment with plenty of space to relax and play. Supervised outdoor time is provided in a safely contained area, and all interactions are thoughtfully managed to ensure each animal feels comfortable and respected. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the utmost care and follow instructions precisely to maintain the pet’s normal routine. With over 20 years of hands-on animal care experience, including veterinary assistant training, I am confident administering medications, supporting senior pets, and caring for animals with special needs. I maintain clear communication, provide regular updates, and care for every pet as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love.
About: Welcome! We are a passionate, animal-loving mother-daughter team ready to give your pets the royal treatment. My lifelong love for animals started with my childhood beagles, followed by a schnauzer, and has grown to include four dogs of my own, a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, and numerous fish! We are starting this venture this summer to help my daughter build her skills and chase her lifelong dream. Ever since she was 4 years old, she has wanted to be a veterinarian—she even has a master plan to build a vet practice and a petting zoo on the exact same property! I love her animal-loving spirit and want to support her dream in every way I can. We work as a dedicated team she will be taking the profits and placing them into her savings account), so rest assured that your fur babies will truly become our fur babies while they are in our care. We can't wait to meet your pets! As a school district employee, I am currently on summer break until August! This means my schedule is wide open, and pet care is my main focus right now. My daughter and I are home almost all day, allowing us to provide frequent potty breaks, constant supervision, and plenty of playtime. Whether your dog needs a structured routine, midday walks, or just lots of couch cuddles and companionship, we have the flexibility to match their exact needs. Once school starts back up in August, we will transition to evening and weekend care, but for the summer, your pup will get our full, undivided attention! Because our own dog prefers to be an 'only child' and a single-sibling fur baby, we exclusively offer care in your home! When you trust us with your pets, my daughter and I will treat your home with the utmost respect, exactly as if it were our own. For House Sitting, we adapt entirely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. This includes their regular feeding schedule, medication administration if needed, and plenty of play and cuddle time. For Drop-In Visits or Walks, we ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh water, potty breaks, and of course, lots of love. We also always make sure your home is secure before we leave and will send you plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun we are having!
About: I love all animals. If you need a caregiver for your friend I'm the one. I'm opened to days/nights weekend and holidays. Will travel too. I currently only work one day a week outside my home, the rest I work from home I would love a friend to hang out with, or take a break with. I will provide a loving fun time for your pet. My dog died two years ago and I really miss having a pet to love. I'm also available for plant care I can work with your schedule if needed. I also do drop bys, too. I love getting out, walking, and playing with doggies, cat, and any pet. I have a new fence and it has a access with no steps for my older doggies. There is also ramps for those shorter dogs. We have lots of love and would to share it with your dogs.

“We have used Barbara multiple times. She always communicates well and is extremely nice to our dog. We appreciate having someone so reliable and never have any doubts about the care and attention given to our dog. Would absolutely recommend her.”

About: I have been a rescue dog owner for over twenty years and for the last two years I have fostered dogs for a local shelter. I have cared for unsocialized senior dogs, puppies, high energy dogs and disabled dogs. I have an established routine in the morning for feeding and potty time as well as evening feeding (as applicable to your pets schedule) and potty time. I have a large fenced in backyard. I can care for your pet in my home or yours. I can reinforce crate training for those pups who may need this. If your pup is used to cuddling on the couch or sleeping with their human I can provide that routine as well.

“Samantha was wonderful to work with and Gari absolutely loved her stay. She was very responsive, flexible, and sent so many cute photos and videos. Will definitely return next time we need a dog sitter!”

“Our dog Winnie had a great time with Dawn! She was very happy when we picked her up! Dawn sent photos of Winnie while we were away and she looked like she was enjoying herself! I would highly recommend Dawn and plan on using her services again when we take our summer vacation!”

“Dog mommas, you’ve found your gal! Karissa and her family are truly a gem!!! We’ve avoided traveling because we can’t stomach leaving our fur baby Cozmo in a sterile boarding facility since our parents haven’t been able to watch him anymore. Karissa provides Cozmo with such a comfortable and fun home away from home, fur friends to play with, and a family who loves him like he’s one of their own 🥹 This was the second time she’s dogsat Cozmo and when we pulled up, we said “do you want to go see Karissa and your friends?”, then his tail was wagging so fast and he was barking to go inside! he was so excited!!! The frequent updates, pictures, and videos from her always sets our minds so at ease. Karissa is the best dog sitter ever-worth every penny AND MORE! Cozmo is a bit spoiled/pampered, and to us, rightfully so. If you can relate to that, you’ll know that the peace of mind in knowing when you’re away that they’re being loved and taken care of like you would is truly PRICELESS! We couldn’t be more grateful and are going to start booking monthly whether we’re traveling or not, because we know Cozmo has such a good time at his sleepovers! 🥰 Thank you x 1,000 once again to you Karissa! ❤️”
