About: I’ve never known life without animals. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, chickens, a pig, and horses, and have been responsible for animal care in some form since I was around six. Today, I have three dogs and three cats of my own, including two dogs under 1.5 years old, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, training routines, enrichment, walks, and consistency. I also have experience caring for senior pets, cats and dogs with different medical needs, and animals who need a little more patience or structure. I’m comfortable giving oral and injected medications, following detailed feeding and medication schedules, and noticing when something seems off. I’m also very active and love hiking, so I’m happy to tailor exercise to the dog in front of me — whether that means a relaxed neighborhood walk, a longer adventure, extra sniffing and enrichment, or helping a high-energy dog burn off some steam. I volunteer weekly at the Greenhill Humane Society socializing shy and nervous cats and have completed a course in pet CPR and first aid.
