About: I've grown up with fuzzies and cared for them all. Tended and loved bunnies both big and small, pups young and old, cats timid and bold. Regardless of pet, I will treat 'em like gold. Loved on and spoiled they'll be sorry to go, I'll keep them quite cozy and you in the know. Caring for fur-babies requires love, understanding, and flexibility. Each pet comes with her own needs and personality. With four dogs (Diamond, Patrick, Trish, and Dusty) and four cats (Joel, Hibbleton, Joe, and Dom) in my care, I've had a little bit of practice in nourishing each individual purr-sonality. Once we get the schedules sorted, I'll be sure to give your loved one the same consideration and I think we'll get along just fine. That being said, I kindly ask that you be mindful of my time. When I reply to your initial message, I typically wait 4-24 hours for a response. If I don’t hear back within that time frame, I may archive your request. If I'm at your house, your fur-baby will be let out every 4-8 hours unless otherwise needed. At least one daily walk is guaranteed (weather permitting) so your little one can catch up on all the neighborhood gossip; if there's a dog park nearby, I'll take him to meet up with his friends. If you'll provide me with your dog's dietary needs, medications, and routines; I'll do my best to make sure that he's feelin' just as fly as he would be if you were there. Now if your pup chooses to stay at my lovely establishment, I do have a questionnaire for all clients to ensure that every aspect of your pup’s care is covered. Among other things, I ask about your pup’s needs, medications, vaccinations, preferences, and routines. After the business part is sorted, I have for your pupper two yards; one for business, one for fun. My house has two floors; the first floor is all his. The rules are pretty chill. Pets are allowed on the furniture, food and water are freely available, tricks are rewarded with treats, and if he's a well-behaved gentle-pup, bedtime is kennel-free. However, if you have different boundaries set for your pet I'll be happy to ensure that your little one minds his manners during his stay. Oh, one more thing: I am the tug-o-war champion, though your dog is welcome to try and take my title.

“With a new puppy and anticipation of an upcoming vacation, I contacted Rikki to set up 3 all-day "play" dates, one per week leading up to our leaving. This way, our puppy would get to know Rikki and her family (and vice versa) and her home, and also know that each time she was left there to play, I always came back to get her and take her home. Well, next week is the big "leave", and our pup Juliet has had those 3 weekly play days. Familiarity has been achieved by all, and I feel a lot better knowing she will be taken care of in a nice family home, a family that she already knows and loves... and we can feel at peace while on our vacation. Over the past 16 years Renee has helped my family and myself care for (and love!) our dogs (often large breeds of 3 or more at one time), rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish, and other animals. Renee has done anything our pets have needed from feedings (often several times a day), walks and exercise, and daily medication management along with ensuring our pets are given special attention and love while we are away! Very prompt and reliable Renee also does a great job of keeping us informed with photos and updates on our pets.
