I used to babysit two cats and one of them had diabetes so I know how to do that if your pets need at home shots! About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family, neighbors, and friends for the last 6-7 years. I have more experience with dogs— ranging from all sizes and ages, however I love cats and never say no to a feline friend as well! Expected care for the animals from me has included daily walks, feeding per directed schedule, hanging out with them, medication administration as needed, and cleaning up after them after an occasional “oopsie”. Most of my experience has been staying in client houses, so I am comfortable with that, however I am also more than confident with driving back and forth for potty breaks throughout the day. I just completed grad school and picked up a part time job with chipotle a couple days a week. My schedule for pet care is more client-based than anything and I will always work my schedule around taking care of the animals needs first. On days I am working at chipotle, my shifts will be no more than 8 hours long. I prefer keeping the clients pets in their homes for their safety and comfort. I will always put them on leashes unless they are fenced in and I will go outside with them initially to keep an eye on them and to feel out the surroundings myself.
About: When I was born, a dog was there. My dog. Moses. I grew up with him until we were both 13 and he passed away in his sleep in my bedroom. I have had every pet since. About: I’ve been around animals since the day I was born. Currently I’m in college for veterinary technician, and working as a veterinary assistant. Animals are my passion and I love to work with them everyday. If you want a bath, or nail trims done I can also do this as well. Currently I am working full time but I have free evenings and my weekends are free along with a few designated weekdays. I can board pups overnight on certain days, or walk your pets in the evening if you’re out late. About: I love all animals, right now I only take care of my own two guinea pigs but I wish I had a dog or cat to take care of! I used to babysit two cats and one of them had diabetes so I know how to do that if your pets need at home shots! About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. About: It seems as if I've always had a cat or dog or both since I was in grade school. At this time I have many kitties and one dog. Some of my kitties are foster kitties. Some I can pet and others I enjoy from a distance. I have 1 dog named Frannie. She is possibly a Rottweiler shepherd mix. In the past I grew up with a standard poodle. I have had a shepherd mix, another Rottweiler mix and a pit mix. I have seen all my dogs and cats thru to the rainbow bridge. I have fostered a litter of labrador puppies. That was fun! I currently help my mom with her pug mix named Chloe. I am currently working part time at a pre-school. I have Mondays, weekends, holidays and the summers off. I work until noon Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays until 3pm I would need to make sure your pets are cared for before I go to work @7:15am. I have a neighbor who helps me let my dog out while I'm at work, so I would be free after work to check on your animal(s). I would then need to come back to my house and take care of my animals and then go back to check on yours. I could do that as often as needed and then longer thru the night. I anticipate every situation to be different so depending on the need. I would be able to keep kitties in my spare bedroom. I have a large screen door to put in front of the bedroom door to keep them separate from my animals if needed. I am flexible to what the needs may be
About: I have been dog-sitting since I was 13 years old. I have experience with young and old and everything in between, as well as dogs with anxiety. I also have experience with providing medication to dogs. I like to stay in communication with the families while they are away and send lots of pictures/updates, because I know it's stressful being away from their babies. I am a full-time graduate student, so I spend most of my free time studying. I don't currently have any pets with me, so I decided to sign up for Rover to fill some of my time with animals and help care for them! This is a perfect side gig for me as it allows me to study while I hang out with your pets and take study breaks to play with them and take walks! About: All K9 Solutions is fully insured and licensed here in Akron OH. I've been training dogs for 6 years and professionally for 4 years. After I worked for reputable training companies, one here in Akron area as the head trainer, I decided to open my own company called All K9 Solutions. I grew up with dogs, and have experience with cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, chickens, and ducks as I used to manage a farm as well. I personally network all over the US with other dog trainers. One of my recent travels has been to Kansas to help host a working dog workshop with a few small departments. I have two Belgian malinois who I strive for their needs to be met daily. From mental stimulation to physical stimulation while giving them a “job”. My youngest is 3 years old and does many sports (PSA, AKC sports, and has been dabbling in odor work), and my oldest is 10, he’s a retired military explosives K9 who served on the boarder of Jordan up until 7 years old. Both the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. All of my dogs have off leash obedience training that is kept up with. I have a background in dog training, boarding, and daycare; from puppies all the way to seniors. I strive for knowledge with dogs as there’s always new information to learn and dogs aren’t cookie cutter. I’m also an STSK9 MVP student for advanced obedience. I’m very passionate about teaching others about dogs from genetics and breeds to how their psychology works. My business hours run from 7am-10pm. My availability is open from the afternoon to night time, this way all morning routines are completed, walks, potty breaks, feeding, training sessions etc. All dogs are boarded in a home environment instead of a facility. This way your dogs aren’t as stressed being away from you, and they can comfortably enjoy their vacation too. All dogs are kenneled to ensure safety (not investing anything they shouldn’t, no free roam 24/7 with other client’s dogs you don’t know, and they have their own space to decompress). Since the yard isn't fenced in, all dogs must be leashed with a properly fitted collar with a longline when going outside, a harness, or a slip lead. However, a good peaceful walk with all the smells is always more mental and physical stimulation for the dogs than a fenced in area with limited access. Reactive dogs and fearful dogs are welcome as I have years of experience with them, and training them to grow confidence and obedience. I also have experience with special need's animals. Loud dogs are welcome too. If your dog(s) show healthy body language and do well with other dogs, my two malinois are gentle beings and always love a play mate. Minka especially, she follows the other dog's pace and reads their body language. I do ask that you leave your vet information with me and emergency vet information as well for an emergency contact if ever need be. Better safe than sorry. I also do ask for a second choice of contact incase the primary owner is unable to be reached. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and bordetella for boarding and daycare. Safety precautions are always taken. For the well being of the dogs and myself. Please note that I do require all important behaviors are made aware of by the owners before hand and I will notify owners upon any concern of sickness or bite risks. I send updates each day as well or will add photos to your rover card.
