About: I’m a certified dog trainer. Member National Association Dog Obedience Instructors, 6 year alumni with Susan Garrett’s Recallers, 9 years as trainer for large box store. I’ve dog sat for the past decade and have customers that come from over 3 hours away. I’ve previously bred dogs and fostered for over 30 years. I’m self employed as a trainer but also have always included dog sitting for clients who didn’t want to kennel their dogs. I do go to clients homes for training or dog walking but I am not gone for long hours so dog/cat sitting works great. I can schedule my days so both boarded dogs and training clients get all the attention needed. I have a lovely quiet farm that is the perfect place for animal care. Technically I do not have a fenced yard by I do have large indoor arena that dogs can safely play off leash in a completely secure area. I started pet sitting because I had clients that had dogs that would not have been ok in a commercial kennel. I am a perfect situation for anxious or elderly dogs. Also a great situation for puppies who may not thrive in a kennel. My own dogs are great and use to dogs coming and going. I moved to Brockville from Durham region and although many of my regular dogs still come and stay with me I do have availability and would love some regular dogs from this area.

About: I have grown up in a household full of dogs my whole life always averaging around four dogs. Right now I have four dogs back home in Minnesota. We own two Weimaraner's, one American Bulldog Pitbull mix, and a Beagle Yellow lab mix. They are all energetic and outgoing and so am I but they like to keep me on my toes. I am capable of working with dogs of all ages and sizes. Currently live in beacon hill which is close to the common where your dog can have the time of its life playing fetch and meeting new dogs. Best time is from 11am-3pm daily, but willing to be flexible! Just finished school and have a very open schedule, excited to get to spend time with your dog! In Beacon Hill there are multiple dog park that have fences where your dog can roam around off-leash. Living near the common is great and a fun area to walk your dog to help them socialize and get great exercise. I live in an apartment that does not have any other pets.

About: Hey there! My name is Ashley and I am a huge animal lover. I’ve had dogs and other animals (cats, guniea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, bunnies) my entire life, and even have worked in the dog daycare industry as well as volunteered in the dog rescue world. I have worked with many local dog rescues including fostering and some behavioural work, as well as reference checks. I have also been an adoption coordinator and held fundraisers for rescues in the GTA. I have worked for over three years in different daycare and boarding environments and have decided that I like the personal in-home touch better than a kennel. Having a dog feel at home while their owners are away is super important to me, it’s what I would want for my dogs if I were away! I cater to your style, dogs are allowed on furniture and in bed if that’s what they’re used to. However if you don’t want your pets on furniture; I am also happy to keep up any boundaries you maintain in your regular routine if that’s applicable to you. I have experience in many different styles of dog training and we can work together to make sure that your dog is in a routine that they would be in while you were home! I work 5 minutes from home and often take an hour lunch break to come home and walk the dogs. For safety, no dogs (that are not from the same family and allowed to stay together) will be kept together unsupervised. A segregated spot in the house will be made for my own dogs and your dog(s) so they can have their own space if I am at work. I currently work out of the house, but I am off every other weekend. My husband, Mike, is off every Wednesday and Weekend. Your pet will join our routine. I have two friendly dogs of my own to provide company. We are happy to continue your at home routines, whether that includes crating your dog or not. Our yard is not fenced, we use longlines and supervision when dogs are outside.

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. About: My family has always had two or more dogs. Usually, the bigger breads (Great Dane, Wolf Hound, St. Bernard), but we have also had small ones (English bulldog, chocolate lab). I am very active myself, so the more walks, the better! If they like to run, I'd love to bring them on my runs! Hikes we love hikes. I give long pets and spoil them with treats (unless they are on a diet). I am excellent about giving medication if they need it as well. One of my family dogs currently has weak joints and needs to take a supplement every day. If required, I can also groom them, brushing, baths, nail clippings. I will take care of your furry friend the best that I can!! I work a full time job and do this on the side! I enjoy taking care of other pets to fix release the urge of finding my own pupper.
