About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! Let me help your dog get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always happy to customize walks to your dog’s needs and energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule varies a bit from day to day, but it’s consistent from week to week. I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats throughout my lifetime. I’ve always helped neighbors and friends out with their pets since I was a child. I love all animals. I love being outdoors with them, enjoying our beautiful Marin landscape. Your fur baby can enjoy long hikes and beach time with me. I have a lot of energy and am patient and kind. About: I was a veterinary technician for almost 13 years. I worked with large and small animals. I also groomed animals for 4 years. I owned and ran my grooming business out of my home in St. Helena. I am a CSR at a vet hospital in Fairfax. I need to be home to care for my mother who is having health struggles so looking for more work closer to home. I am caring for my mother at home. I have lots of free time to fit in my schedule for walks, visiting homes and checking on all kinds of pets. I am open to exotics also. My boarding prices include one large area/room that is nice and cool and has room for bedding, toys, and whatever your pet desires. This room has access to a multi-level backyard. The animals are closed inside at night. Dogs also receive one 30 minute walk out of the home a day. Extra walks will be charged at $25 per walk. Cats stay in a room separate from dogs with all their amenities and will not leave this room during their stay. If your cat is leashed trained and you require walks please let me know know and we can talk about wether it is possible. I am a retired veterinary technician. I am educated in safety and health for animals. The pets in my home are loved and cared for individually. You can go on your trips knowing your animals are safe and cared for with a vet nurse. I am also willing to come by houses and visit. I will not do over night stays, but doggies/cats/exotics are welcome to stay overnight here at my home. When you leave your pet with me you will receive multiple pictures through out your pets stay and you will have full communication from me at all times. All dogs are required to have been vaccinated with Rabies, dhp, and bordetella. Cats should be vaccinated with Rabies, fvr-cp and leukemia. All animals that acquire fleas must be on a flea product. If they are not I will provide the flea dose but you will be charged accordingly for that dose. These requirements are for the safety of the animals in my home and in my neighborhood. About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her needs as she has aged. So I understand that it isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I also care for feline friends at their homes while their families are away. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where we can play and take a break together. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, I can administer that with a pill pocket or other snack but I will not administer injected medications or fluids.

Jessica was so great with our cat Peanut while we were away for 2 weeks! Its always hard leaving Peanut for long periods of time, but we felt like she was in such good hands with Jessica. Lydia was amazing! I have had my cat for 5 years, and on my most recent trip, I was really able to relax knowing that my cat was in excellent hands. Lydia responded super quickly, sent pictures and thorough updates, and I can tell my cat felt very loved and cared for while I was away--this really stood out because my cat can be a little shy, but she just loved Lydia from the moment they met. I highly recommend booking Lydia, she is a true professional who clearly takes pride in her work.
We decided to transition from boarding to a drop-in sitter because even though boarding was a room with daily attention, they still didn't like it at all. We were nervous about having someone come in, but met with Jill before our trip, and knew she would take great care of our cats. She provided updates and pics, and upon our return, our cats were so happy. We think leaving them in their surroundings is so much better now, and won't hesitate to use Jill again!
