“If you’re looking for someone who’s very reliable and trustworthy with pets, Melissa is your person! My husband and I have used to her a few times while we have been out of town to give our 16 year old kitty her daily blood pressure medicine. Not only is she friendly and responsive towards people as well as reliable. She’s patient and kind with pets. My 16 year old girl who’s normally shy around strangers was at first shy around Melissa but has since warmed up that when it isn’t med time, she will greet her and let Melissa pet her for a few seconds (as is her nature she isn’t a kitty that likes being touched in general unless it’s on her terms) Melissa has her own two pets which I think helps with knowing how to read animal body language but also helps animals eventually trust her. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter for the things I’ve asked of Melissa while we are away, if you ask politely and remember she to is a person. She delivers exceptionally!! Would definitely recommend her, but would also use her for future dates if applicable with her schedule.”

About: For the past 10 years of my life, I have cared for multiple different breeds and sizes of dogs ranging from 5 pounds to 100 pounds. I give the upmost care possible to ensure that all dogs are happy, healthy, and having fun. I have experience, caring for senior dogs as well as different energy levels. Under whatever level of care you require, you will come back to a happy pet and a safe home. I currently work part-time between 20 and 30 hours a week but I have a very flexible schedule, and I am free for most of the day and night. I’m currently saving money to be able to go to university in one to two years so during my time in your house I’ll most likely be studying or knitting as a way to decompress after work. I’m dedicated to safety and comfort of pets and owners so as long as I have instructions and a quick conversation, I will be able to follow any guidelines you set for me. About: Ive always had a special bond with dogs. I have had the privilege of owning and having my 2 best friends in my life. They were an English bulldog and a rescued German shepherd . They have both crossed the rainbow bridge and they live in my heart forever. I helped trained our german shepherd which took a lot of work. About: I’ve grown up with many cats and different types of dog's. I had a dog that was 19 years old and have been self training my current dog since I got him. Im currently a student at Chico State so I have plenty of time after classes and school. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets after 2pm on most weekdays. I make sure there’s no way to escape or places that can hurt your pet if it gets in those places. I would make sure to be attentive and make sure I know what they’re up to.
