Doggy Day Care in Lone Hickory

About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 5 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. Im a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. I’m a stay-at-home mom during the week, and then I work on Saturdays, so I’m pretty flexible with my schedule! I will have to bring my toddler with me to any visits on a weekday if it’s before 4 pm. When I’m caring for a pet, I always play with them and make sure they get quality interaction with me. I also check over their physical appearance to make sure they’re healthy and safe. As a vet tech, I’m very concerned with pets’ health and wellbeing.

About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I’ve also had basic veterinary training in high school. While my dog is no longer with us, she was always treated just like my kids, and was allowed on furniture/beds. I take daily walks (sometimes twice a day). I’m available for boarding on most days. I can also drop in on weekends as needed. I usually take a walk once or twice a day. My son enjoys playing fetch with dogs. Your pet will receive plenty of love and care while with us as we have always loved having dogs around.

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life! I currently have two happy pups of my own who are part of my daily routine. We go on multiple walks each day and spend lots of time playing and relaxing together. I work from home as a pharmacist, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some good company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I work from home, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. My two dogs keep me active with walks, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day, and I love having the flexibility to give visiting pups the same attention and care. I treat every pup like part of the family! I live in a dog-friendly apartment in a walkable area with a dog park, so there are plenty of chances to exercise and play. I keep each dog’s routine consistent with what they’re used to — from feeding and walks to cuddle time. Since I work from home, I’m around all day to give lots of attention, care, and supervision.

About: I am an owner of a pit bull. He’s been my baby for eight years. He's a rescue dog. I love all sorts of dogs and would love to look after yours with love and care. I work remotely so I can be flexible with care for your fur babies. They will get my full love and attention. Their well being is my priority. I will check on your pet to make sure they’re doing ok. I take them on a walk and ensure they have plenty of food and water.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, from hermit crabs to horses. The last 15 years I’ve gone from volunteering with animals to now rescuing and owning 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I’m a resident physician but I’m currently on a research year so my schedule is pretty flexible for home visits or walks- but also for boarding given that I have a very animal friendly environment in my own home. I have a three bedroom, split level house with a large backyard and access to a huge field on the other side of my yard for things like fetch and walks. I have 2 energized and social dogs in my own home who are very friendly, love cuddling and playing fetch. I also have 2 cats who do well around my dogs, one younger one that plays along with them and one older one who is still social but keeps more of a distance from play time.

About: Every dog that stays with us quickly feels like a sort of our family. We have had dogs our whole life. We can take your dogs on up to a 3 mile walk a day as requested. We love animals and have been dog sitting for years. Please stick to and communicate clearly with drop off and pick up times so I can schedule my daughters naps/mealtimes etc. I am a stay at home mom who just takes care of the babies and pets. My job is to make the day fun and take care of everyone. I have two friendly dogs that are large but love to play with other puppies. I have two children who are very used to being around animals.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 10+ years. I grew up around animals, and currently have 2 pups that I rescued from the shelter. I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and a large selection of breeds. As a pet owner myself, I want to know that my dogs are happy and safe. As some pups (or pet parents) can become stressed or anxious with strangers, I will go the extra mile to ensure their comfort! Pet parents can be assured to receive lots of photos while your pup is in my care. I have worked in the medical field for 8 years, but my love for pets has sparked me to start my journey to pet sitting. I have had in-home pets for as long as I can remember! I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups! My schedule can be very flexible, and I am home most of the time. I have three children ages 7 and under, whom are also pet lovers! We live in a quiet neighborhood in a new spacious home with lots of room for your babies. As we do not have a fenced in yard, your baby can play inside and outside and have the ability to go for great walks in the neighborhood! I treat your pups as if they were my own. Interacting with pets by giving them lots of love and attention. Pups are allowed on furniture and most all areas of our home. Each pup will be walked and fed on schedule and will be kept safe. Special diets and oral medications can be administered if needed.
