“Jess cared for my hound dog for four days and treated her as if she were her own dog! She sent pictures and updates everyday and was super attentive to Luna’s needs. Jess has ducks and quails and a lovely corgis named Logan, needless to say, Luna was never bored and she was exhausted from her adventure when I picked her up😊 Jess gave us some fresh veggies and quail eggs too! Will definitely be bringing Luna back and I’m sure she can’t wait!”

About: Traveling to Arcata for 10 weeks and happy to cat sit! There's something about cats and small dogs that just resonate. I have lived with cats, pigeons, parakeets, a pittie mix, and 2 small dogs in my home, and immediately adopted my own cat once I moved out. That being said, I vibe the strongest with cat energy (chihuahuas and other small dogs are also cats, believe me). I've been pet sitting across multiple platforms since I was 15 (now 31). If your pet is looking for a friend with a cozy vibe, I'm their gal :) I spend most of my time writing and making art at home, so we will have have plenty of time to bond. I will make sure they feel like someone loving and safe is still around while you are on your trip away. Excepting the other Rover sits, I work on a contract and freelance schedule, so my schedule is relatively flexible. Shoot me a message and let's see if we can make it work. Even if I'm fully booked, go ahead and reach out and I'll see if I can squeeze you in. I tend to bond easily with animals since my priority is keeping each pet comfortable in their own routine and home. I'm really not in a rush to get myself on their good side, and they appreciate that. I follow their lead and it works!

“Francisca was the best!! I was nervous to leave my baby with someone for the first time but I was quickly reassured by her kind and open minded attitude! She was so patient, attentive, and gave me regular updates on my puppy Cooper. He had such a blast going out and about on little adventures and came back relaxed and happy. I will definitely be a repeat client with her in future. ☺️”

“It seems my nervous dog was very comfortable (and even playful!) with Neil, Mariah, and their dog posse. In fact, he couldn’t wait to greet Neil at the door this last trip. I’m very happy to have found them, and it will be a relief to know Linny is in loving hands during future trips.”

About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am at home this summer until my college classes start in the fall to continue my degree in early childhood education. Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. Drop by mid-day walks anytime I'm available! I have a lot of availability and would love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I Can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for animals if you need boarding. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them there while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care or boarding. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

“Sonja provides a wonderful environment for dogs and is a thoughtful, knowledgeable sitter. Although our puppy’s boarding experience didn’t work out due to his separation anxiety, I still want to leave a positive review to support her business. It’s clear she genuinely cares about dogs and considers their long-term development. When our pup grows into a confident gentleman someday, we’ll definitely look forward to coming back.”

About: With over 9 years of experience, I’ve worked with all kinds of pets—from puppies and older dogs to cats, rodents, and even birds. I’m skilled in administering medications and providing personalized care, no matter the breed or age. Growing up with a variety of animals, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs. My patience, knowledge, and love for all animals set me apart, ensuring your pets are not only cared for but truly comforted. Pet care is my top priority, and I’m available almost full-time to meet your needs. I’m only busy two days a week, so the rest of my time is dedicated to providing focused, attentive care for your pets. With a flexible schedule, I’m ready to ensure your pets are well-cared for whenever you need! Most of my services are provided in my clients’ homes, where pets are comfortable in their own space. I offer drop-ins and dog walks, ensuring pets get the attention and exercise they need. While I don’t have a yard, I live in a pet-friendly community with great walking spots, and I’ll take dogs out every 1-2 hours for bathroom breaks and exercise. For boarding, I’d follow the same routine, offering regular walks and playtime. If clients have a fenced yard, I make full use of that space for outdoor activities and fun.

“Halley was so nice & communicative throughout Micah's stay (~5 days). They spent plenty of time outside and even went to an event at the beach. When Micah came home he was tired & content. I definitely recommend Halley if you're looking for someone to care for your pet.”

“No doubt, I would come to Serjio again for all my pet sitting needs! My dog usually doesn’t like strangers but they clicked instantly. I was amazed at how well my dog was doing in his care! I fully expected behavioral issues due to my dog’s anxiety but Serjio said he did great and I think that’s all because of how well Serjio handles pets. He updated me with pictures of them playing and assured that my pup was doing just fine while I was away which helped me feel at ease. Thank you for taking such good care of my Ralphie!”

She regularly sent short videos, which were entertaining and reassuring (as this was his first extended Boarding experience). Highly recommended. Thanks Amy!”
