About: I've owned and lived with at least 8 different cats since I was 10. Cats are my favorite animal on the planet earth. My first cat I got when I was 15, and I had her for 9 years until her unfortunate passing due to cancer. She will always be in my heart. My current 2 girls are the sweetest things, and I look forward to seeing them every time I get home. I sometimes go and give cat advice to my mom who is a new cat owner with a kitten who is almost 1. I help play with her kitten and her dog while my mom gets things done around her home. I know cats sometimes need medicine, especially elderly cats, my girl Diamond included. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

About: I have always been an animal lover. Since my teenage years we had dogs and cats in the house. Over the last 17 years I have lived with and cared for 2 dogs and two cats. Sadly 3 of them have passed on at this point, and It's just myself and my 12 yr old husky mix Suki now. I am only employed on a very part time basis, so I have a fairly open and flexible schedule for dog walking, home visits and boarding on most weekdays, and some weekends. I have a fenced back yard perfect for pets to hang out in, and there is also a covered area in the back yard if the weather is rainy. I would also allow them inside the house, but not on furniture :). I am a very active person, I walk my own dog at least twice a day, and would be happy to walk even more with yours!
About: I've had large dogs since 1997. Currently I have 2 amazing dogs. A 3 legged great burnese, and a 1.2yr old burnese Mt. Dog. They are sweet and wonderful dogs with great manners and are super dog friendly. I also have 2 cats. Rick and Morty. They are a pair. Also very sweet and affectionate once they know you. They are indoor/outdoor 24/7 but avoid dogs. The love of my furry friends reflects who I am. I have 5 acres. This allows my dogs to mostly roam free as they stay close to home. It gives other dogs the opportunity to have a place to run around and play with other good dogs. There are also multiple leads amongst the property, as well as a gated and covered outside area if your pet isn't used to either of those situations. I spend almost all of my days working from home. So other than the occasional errand, I'm home. Otherwise, I exist for you and yours. My pets have water and food at all times. It's under a covered area so they are able to stay in the shade if they like. Otherwise my dogs are free to roam as they generally stay on the property. My property is not fenced. However with this undertaking dogs can be placed in the covered area when needed. They can be leaded if that's what you want. As well they are welcome in the house at any time. Your pets are free to relax anywhere they like. My dogs are very sweet and friendly. My 3 legged dog is not one to get to excited as he only has 3 legs. For the right dogs, my property is a paradise.

I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! (My parents tell me I’ve loved dogs my whole life, but I can only partly confirm.) About: I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, horses, and cattle, and my boyfriend who I live with has had dogs his whole life. We love dogs of all size and ages and hope to adopt more in the future. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.
