About: Your furbabies will get lots of attention and care here. They can run around in a securely fenced yard, and my dogs will love playing with yours. I have lots of experience as a dog and cat mom as well as rescue volunteer. I have also cared for livestock and some exotic animals. I may be able to accommodate medical or other special needs. I am certified in cat and dog first aid by the American Red Cross. Ask me about complimentary transportation if you're in the Appling area! I do freelance work from home and make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time for spoiling your pets and taking them into the yard to play and run around. I message owners with updates and photos often. Safety is #1. I have a fenced yard attached to the house, and the property also has a 6' fence all the way around. Doggie door access to the yard is on a case-by-case basis. I have a system for introductions so no one gets too overstimulated. Dogs are always fed in separate areas. I don't leave food out, but I will offer food several times a day if your dog is used to always having food available. Cats will be safely indoors. There are bugs where I live, so please have your pet on a reliable flea & tick preventative. 24-hour emergency vet info is saved in my phone, but I've never had to use it. In the unlikely event of a problem, I will contact you immediately.

2. Baylee P.
“Baylee was the best dog sitter we ever had! I was sad when she moved away to college. She was dependable and our dog, Brutus, loved her.”

3. Hannah B.
“Hannah has always taken such great care of our animals while our family is away. She sends pictures and updates and make our babies feel welcomed. She goes above and beyond the care that was asked of her. Our big fur babies love long walks with her too.”

4. Martha "Mia" M.
“Mia is an exemplary dog sitter. I feel completely at ease leaving my two pups in her care. She follows my requests to a T! She is a great communicator before, during, and after her time with our dogs both by texting and sending pictures. She verifys that dogs are ok when we get back. She shows patience and love and she treats our dogs as if they were her own. She confidently gives medicine to our senior dog. She leaves our house so clean and tidy when she in home dog sits. I highly recommend Mia for your animal needs.”

5. Sara G.

“Sara was great with communication and right on time! Very flexible too ?”

6. Emily S.
About: Total animal lover. I work full time but I have three days off a week. I love keeping animals when I can. I don't have any breed restrictions or age limits. I don't ever get asked to keep puppies but I will. I will keep up with whatever exercise your dog requires. I like to keep dogs tired so there's lots of play time and walking at my house. I can follow any feeding/potty schedule. I am capable and comfortable with caring for special needs dogs. I can administer any medication, if needed. I try not to board more than one dog at a time unless it's urgent to my client. I have a deep love of all animals so I can assure your dog will get plenty of attention and good care. I work Wednesday through Saturday so my off days are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. This doesn’t include holidays. Willing to negotiate or work with other schedules I have a gate around my property at my home and I use baby gates to keep dogs out of certain areas (great if dogs need to be separated).

7. Wendy R.
About: I have a passion for dogs - friends and family are always asking me to care for their pets while they are away. I've had dogs all my life, training them since they were puppies to do tricks and not go in the house. I have lots of patience and flexibility! I'm currently working part-time after my kids have moved out, but I would be happy to transition to caring for dogs full-time if possible! I have time 3-4 weekdays now, but that could increase to everyday + weekends. I live on the Lake with no fenced yard, so first thing in the morning I walk my dog, then I feed him and we play. He's a friendly Yorkie who likes to help me make the bed and follow me throughout the day.

8. Julianna B.
“Julianna has been our go-to pet sitter for boarding, and we couldn’t be happier. She’s incredibly caring, responsible, and treats our pets like her own. We always return to happy, healthy pets, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy caregiver!”

9. Hannah D.

“Hannah is amazing! She is so dependable and our dog loved her from the first time they met.”

10. Allison D.
“Allison is a sweet special girl with a huge love for animals! She loves them all- big, little, healthy, sick, playful! She will be an excellent, responsible pet caregiver/ pet sitter!”

11. Ericka P.
About: Huge animal lover, here! I am a pet owner myself for several years. I currently have 2 cats (A male Bombay cat & a female Munchkin cat) I was a massage therapist gor 13yrs. So aside from massaging people, I have massaged horses, donkeys, cats & dogs during those years. I am available throughout the week, to care for animals and their needs, especially weekends. At the moment, I am available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am until 8pm. Saturday and Sunday, I am available from 10am until 9pm. Walks, massages (with owner's permission), potty breaks, treats (also with owner's permission), brushing, tons of love and of course feeding & water, are what I typically provide for my clients. If there are any questions or concerns, please inform me. I will answer and heed information to the best of my ability. I have taken care of kittens to adult cats, horses, donkeys, goats, puppies and dogs from Pomeranians to Great Danes. I'm currently available to do pet drop-ins, pet walking, & pet sitting. Please refer to my calendar &/or hours of availability for whichever service is desired. Thank you for your interest, as well as time. My home is located on the gated De La Howe (SC Governors School) campus. My family's home, unfortunately doesn't have a fenced yard for the house we are currently renting, on campus. We have a small front yard & large backyard. There are plenty of trails on the school grounds for walking pets. If need be, our family's 2 cats can stay in their room, if any pet visitors do not do well around cats.

12. Sydney R.

“Rhys (Sydney) is friendly, responsible, and knowledgeable about dog breeds and behaviors. He was very interested in my dog's specific needs, and followed my instructions well. He left detailed notes after every walk. I will absolutely trust Rhys to take care of Bowser again!”

About: I'm an adventurous soul with a love for animals and a passion for helping folks. I have over 10 years of experience caring for all kinds of pets from big to small. I currently live on a small homestead with chickens, goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and honey bees. I work (remotely) as a grants manager for an arts organization, and having the flexibility in schedule and at-home support means that I am able to offer a helping hand to families. If you're looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, communicative, and passionate, then I'm your girl! I would love to offer you extra peace of mind during your time away from home! sending regular photos and updates throughout your trip. When you return, your home will be sparkling clean with napping pets tuckered out from all of their fun adventures and play time. I have references available upon request and am more than happy to schedule a phone call or video chat to answer any and all questions you may have. Thank you for considering me! I work from home remotely so enjoy having the flexibility to spend time with all the pets whether at home or while house sitting. Regular walks and play time throughout the day are a must! We have two sweet, dog-friendly cats and a gentle but giant Bernese Mountain Dog who loves having other doggy friends of all sizes to play with! We take several walks a day and play outside regularly with plenty of cuddles on the couch in between. We are a non-smoking family and prioritize the healthy safety of all humans and animals in our home.

14. Jennifer Z.

“Jennifer was awesome! We felt really comfortable with her taking our dog Mia on walks for a few days. She sent us photos, videos and reports on the walks and even cleaned up an accident that Mia had. Jennifer went above and beyond and we will definitely be booking her again!”

15. Gwen S.
“Gwen is very kind and compassionate in her treatment of fur babies. In my opinion, her calm presence instills confidence in the most skittish of pets, helping them to overcome any fear they may have around strangers. Gwen's quiet nature permeates all her interactions with our four-legged friends aiding each in feeling safe, cared for and loved.”
