About: I have been taking care of dogs since I could read. We love both cats and dogs in our household. I know all the basics of taking care of an animal, plus I love to play with dogs and give them attention! I am a college student at Texas State University. I offer drop in visits for both cats & dogs in my hometown (Llano, TX Area) & college town (San Marcos, TX Area). I can work around my school & work schedule for the most part. I am able to do pretty much anything relating to cats and dogs. I can feed, clean up, bathe/groom, take out to potty, water, play, and/or walk your animals!

About: I have personally had pets since the day I was born, mostly dogs and cats, but also a snake and hamster, I started pet sitting when I was 14 and have experience with caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and horses. I know that your pet is a part of the family with a routine, personality, and individual needs so I am very conscientious about owner advice and instructions when it comes to their fur (or not so furry) baby. I love spending time with animals and where I live I can not unfortunately have dogs (I do have two cats though) so I feel the Oppertunity to walk dogs and do check ins on animals would be a fantastic way to get to spend time around them again. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of availability throughout the day and week to give your pets the time, care, and attention they deserve. Depending on the energy and type of animal as well as owner instructions I adjust my care schedule to thier needs. I either do drop in visits to a clients home or house sit in their home.

We will definitely be using her in the future for all of our pet sitting needs! Thank you again Chelsey for being such a kind soul and taking great care of our babies!

Finding someone you trust with your pets can feel stressful, and my goal is to make that process easier by providing safe, reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate care while you’re away. I’m a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) with over 10 years of hands-on animal care experience, including veterinary technician-level experience and skills. I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager, giving me years of experience caring for pets in their own homes, following detailed instructions, and maintaining their individual routines while their families are away. Throughout my experience, I’ve cared for pets of different ages, personalities, and medical needs—from playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior, anxious, recovering, and special-needs pets requiring additional attention. My veterinary background and technician-level experience include: • Oral and injectable medication administration • Subcutaneous fluid administration • Diabetic and special-needs care • Senior pet care • Post-surgical and recovery care • Monitoring changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall health • Caring for pets with anxiety or specialized routines • Following detailed medical and household care instructions • Fear-free handling techniques and low-stress approaches 🐾 Experienced With Nervous, Senior & Special Needs Pets 🐾 Every pet has their own personality, and I believe the best care starts with understanding and respecting that. I especially enjoy working with pets who may need a little extra time, patience, or specialized attention. Whether your pet is shy, nervous, anxious, elderly, recovering, or has unique medical or behavioral needs, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I focus on building trust, maintaining their normal routine, creating a calm environment, and helping them feel safe and cared for while you’re away. 🐾 What You Can Expect From Me 🐾 • Regular updates and photos • Careful attention to your instructions and routines • Patient, compassionate, and individualized care • Enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention • Knowledgeable care backed by hands-on veterinary experience • Someone who treats your pets like family 🐾 Additional Services I Offer 🐾 • Nail trims • Baths and basic grooming • Ear cleaning • Litter box care • Medication assistance • Poop scooping • Additional care needs upon request I’m also comfortable caring for a variety of animals, including unique pets, exotics, and large animals. Whether your family includes furry, feathered, scaled, or other special companions, I’m happy to discuss their needs. 🐾 Why Choose Me? 🐾 As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone dependable, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and compassionate. With my Certified Veterinary Assistant background, technician-level experience, years of pet-sitting experience, and genuine love for animals, I’m able to provide both knowledgeable and loving care. Pet care is currently my primary work, and it is something I truly love. Thank you for considering me to care for your beloved pets! 🐾❤️ Pet care is currently my primary work, and it is something I truly love doing. I’m dedicated to making sure your pets receive the time, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level. Whether your pet thrives on a structured schedule or prefers a more relaxed routine, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your fur baby is safe, happy, loved, and receiving the same care and attention I would want for my own pets. I currently provide care in your home because I believe pets are often happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. Staying home helps reduce stress and allows them to maintain their normal routines, especially for pets who are shy, anxious, senior, or have special needs. Your pets’ safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully review each booking and care plan to make sure I can safely and appropriately meet their needs. I will always follow your care and safety instructions carefully and will never leave pets unattended outdoors. While caring for your pets, I love keeping them happy and engaged with activities appropriate for their personalities and abilities. This may include neighborhood walks, fetch, favorite toys, enrichment activities, lick mats, puzzle toys, training refreshers, or simply spending quality time together. If I need to step away for errands or other responsibilities, I will make sure your pets’ needs and agreed-upon schedule are taken care of. As a Certified Veterinary Assistant with technician-level experience and a fellow pet parent, I understand how much trust goes into allowing someone to care for your animals and enter your home. I treat your home with respect and your pets with patience, compassion, and love. My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing they are in knowledgeable and caring hands while you’re away. 🐾

About: I’ve grown up training dogs, learning about their behaviors, and researching the best ways to care for them. They’re my all- time favorite animals, so I love spending my time with them :) I live on a few acres in Liberty Hill, with a few intact male dogs on the property; along with poultry, livestock, and other livestock guardian dogs. I currently work in the mornings, so my own dogs are let outside to play in my yard while I am out. They’re not destructive or escapees, so they have the special privileges now :) I have a very large fenced in yard with lots of toys and extra space outside to walk, with the entire property fenced. There are a few intact male dogs, so I don’t accept any intact male dogs for safety reasons. I have two extra crates to use if necessary while I am running an errand.

About: DOGS WITHOUT LOVE ARE LIKE HUMANS WITHOUT PURPOSE! I absolutely love dogs. I have a thirteen year old miniature Australian Shepard who thinks he is my third child and is treated as such. I am 47 years old and have a rewarding career in plastic/reconstructive surgery, but also realize that caring for fur babies is yet another true passion in which I truly enjoy! Fur babies need lots of love and attention as well as activity through play dates, park time, hiking, walking swimming etc. Additional Services Include: Groomer drop off and pick up, vet visit transportation and attendance, medication administration and bathing are also offered. I am also available for meet and greets preceding scheduled services. I am available on nights, weekends and holidays. I DO NOT board more than one family’s dogs at a time. Therefore, you do not have to worry about safety. It is in the best interest of your fur baby to not be exposed to others in which could result in physical injury and or harm and or contagious illnesses. Rest assured, your fur babies are completely safe with me. Pictures and reports of your fur babies are sent to you on a daily basis! Fur babies should feel loved and cared for in the absence of their owners much like a doggie vaca! An experienced pet sitter that you can get to know, trust and feel comfortable with whom is much like family is a necessity! I work in the medical field and have the ability to adjust my flexible schedule to accommodate my pet clients needs and or requests on a client to client basis. At the present time-I am not offering boarding services in my home. I believe pets feel more comfortable and at ease in their own homes where they are familiar with their surroundings and specific care instructions will vary per client request which is discussed during our meet and greet session.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
