About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. While I’ve primarily worked with horses and cows, I’ve also spent years around dogs and cats. We have our own rescue pup at home, and I’ve helped care for everything from small lap dogs to German Shepherds. There’s always been a family or friends dog around, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently have two side jobs that I have full control over, so I’m able to be flexible and available any time of day or week to care for your pet. Whether it’s early mornings, midday check-ins, or evenings, I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs! When I’m caring for pets in their home, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll follow any instructions you leave closely - whether it’s feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or giving medications. I respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure your pets get lots of love and attention while you’re away. I know how important it is to feel confident your pets and your space are in good hands!

About: I've loved and cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. I now work remotely, so I can be quite flexible in terms of care and stays. While I live in Homer, NY, I currently work remotely. My schedule is extremely flexible, even with short notice. And I love pets of all types of sizes. While I do not currently have pets of my own, I lived as both a kid and adult with both dogs and cats. I'll keep them safe and shower them with love!

About: I have experience cat, dog and rabbit sitting for over 15 years. Couldnt choose between the three love them all!! Experienced with walking small and medium size dogs. I work during the week but have tons of space in my home. We are usually chilling at home on weekends. For walking or drop ins I am available before 8am or after 5pm. I love to get my 10,000 steps in! I have a large fenced in backyard and a small non fenced in front yard. Crate trained dogs are preferred. Dogs will be kept separate from our dog when we go out or at work in a separate room.

About: I've had tortoises, birds of all kinds, fish, ducks, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I am a nurse and a dog mom myself. You can always count on me for updates and plenty of photos as well as always knowing what to do in an emergency. I have given meds to every single animal I've had including shots. I obviously have no issues with blood, needles, accidents, or vomit and am a patient person. I grew up with a family dog that was ultimately the coolest dog to have ever lived and have had to deal with personal training and reactivity as well. I have taken care of others' animals as long as I remember and I'd love to continue to do so, while giving you peace of mind with your pet. Although I work full time, I am available most days as I have been working from home often. With my own dog, I will make sure that your animal is a priority, just as I would want my own pet to be if I were away and of course, photos are a MUST because we all know how photogenic our furry friends are. I will try to recreate the same environment that your pet is used to so they feel comfortable. Lots of love and safety is of course the key as well! If you have a normal routine that works for your pet, let me know and I will do my absolute best to accommodate whether it be in my own home or yours.

“Eva is a loving, responsible and attentive caregiver for my German Shepherd Scout. My Scout becomes excited when she sees Eva because she plays with her and treats her like her own. I don’t know what I would do without Eva. Anyone who hires Evawould be absolutely pleased with her.”

Monique J.
“Monique is WONDERFUL! I actually met her at her job, Petland. I was shopping for a new collar and some toys for my boxer mix and I was going on about how I was trying to find someone to watch him for the weekend while I went away on business, and she mentioned that she actually did dog sitting and would love to do it. The next day I met with her and my little Billy got to see her house and meet her dogs, everyone immediately hit it off amd it was set! She sent me LOADS of pictures and videos of Billy having fun with her and her dogs, even ahowing me that she took him to the pool. It really helped reassure me, especially since this is the first time spending the weekend away from him. She really is the greatest and her love for dogs is evident.”

Amanda C.

“The second time booking with Amanda, and another stellar experience. Thank you for showing love to all my fur babies. I love all the pictures and potty updates she provides.”

“Aaron is one of the most kind, gentle souls I’ve ever met. I’ve known him for over 22 years, and I can confidently say there are few in this world I trust more than him. Every animal I’ve ever seen him with, including my own dog, is both safe and loved in his presence. I never let anyone other than my mother watch my dog, but if I needed to, I’d hand her to him without a second thought. He’s trustworthy and dependable in ways most could never achieve. I couldn’t possibly recommend him more to care for anyone’s pets. He is a diamond in the rough, and your pets will always be in great hands.”

Little York pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashleigh was an amazing pet sitter! I can't say enough good things about Ashleigh! She stepped in last minute to watch my cat and dog over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I’m so glad she did. From the start, she was incredibly communicative and prompt, and both of my pets took to her right away when she came for the meet-and-greet. I could tell they were in great hands immediately. I received daily updates and pictures throughout my trip, which really put me at ease. It was clear she was keeping them both happy and entertained, and I’m so grateful for that! When I returned, she had gone above and beyond—not only was everything in my home tidy, but she also left a sweet note about her time with my pets. My dog is a bit temperamental (she’s a chow mix), and this was my first time leaving her with someone who wasn’t family, so I was a little nervous. But Ashleigh handled it like a pro! She seemed to really connect with both my pets, and I could tell they had a great time with her. I was hesitant to use Rover at first since my pets mean the world to me, but after this experience, I feel so much more confident. I will absolutely be booking Ashleigh again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a true animal lover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. 10/10!
