About: I have always had pets in my life. I was born into a house with cats and dogs and have had two dogs for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of the animals when my parents have been gone. We have had dogs old and young of all sizes and I love all animals big and small. I will love on animals and play with them, take care of them or just snuggle if they dont like to play. I will be with the animals as much as possible in between other jobs. I also have worked at petsmart in the pet hotel so I have a lot of knowledge and experience working with pets. I am currently working full time but I can let the dogs out before I go to work and then can go right after work as well. I go in at 8 am and get off at 330 pm I will take special care with each pet and be sure to follow the rules that are set by the pet parent. Because of working at petsmart I pay close attention to details and take special care of pets.

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life. My current cat is a sassy senior tortie named Queen. I'm well versed in reading body language through ears and tail. I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions; managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. In the past, I’ve taken care of my parent's diabetic asthmatic cat by giving her insulin injections daily as well as using an inhaler on her. Animal rescue is my biggest passion! About: My very first pet of my own is my beautiful calico cat, Nala. I love her beyond words and I would treat your fur baby just how I would want someone to care for mine! I have been cat sitting for over 10 years, as one of my very first jobs was watching my neighbors cat while they were on vacation. She was diabetic so I had to give insulin and make sure she was feeling okay without her mom and dad around. I have 4 kids(1-16) so the dog must be good with small children. I do work during the week. Someone is home during the summer and school breaks. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

All my animals are up to date and we have an electric fence to maintain their boundary. They get alot fo walking, running (especially the goldendoodle,) naps, and lovin'. My clients pets get walked twice a day, sometimes three if needed. I have one family who just likes me to go and let them out, play some fetch, and lots of belly rubs. I have been asked to take pets for walks, emergency pick ups from boarding facilities, and asked to do feeding schedules.

“Alex's set up was perfect for Oreo with lots of land to run around and play in and cozy spots to rest and chill. He only takes a few dogs at a time and they all seem to get lots of love and play. He was flexible when we had a sudden change to our schedule and we really appreciated that! Would definitely recommend his care for your pup.”

Susan kept me updated (with pictures when Jade would cooperate) regularly and was kind and patient, even when Jade decided to turn up the dramatics.
