“We are so lucky to have found Ashley C. on Rover. Com. Ashley and her husband Brian boarded our 5 month old German Shepherd (Isa) from 7/24/23-7/29/23 at their home. Each morning Ashley sent me an update on Isa’s day without fail. She also included numerous pictures of Isa engaging in play with her own personal dogs. Although, prior to obtaining Isa, one of are greatest worries was that having another dog would tie us down and limit our vacations we enjoy taking. We knew having a German shepherd would be a bit hard to travel with for the most part. I did look at other boarding options but I found them to be lacking and caused me a few sleepless nights on where or who to leave Isa with. Ashley arranged a meet and greet and I knew in the 1st three minutes that Isa would be fine in Ashley’s home. Isa did wonderful and I did not have a single worry regarding Isa. Each picture showed me that she was thoroughly playing hard, engaged and loved all the romping around with Ashley’s dogs. They have a great yard and are certainly experienced in boarding dogs. They were very good at keeping her at home routine so she was comfortable. I couldn’t thank Ashley and Brian enough for the care they provided for Isa.”

About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 7 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I'm now a stay at home mom missing my daily dog visits! I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab grey hound mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I'm willing to bathe and groom but it just depends on your dogs hair and size because I do not have a grooming area set up yet in my home, but I'm willing to talk about it! I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

I have been cat sitting for over 10 years, as one of my very first jobs was watching my neighbors cat while they were on vacation. She was diabetic so I had to give insulin and make sure she was feeling okay without her mom and dad around. About: Miranda has grown up in a home with furry friends since she was 6 months old! Everyone in the family has always had dogs. Miranda has raised 3 of her own from being a puppy to a full grown fur baby! Charles has also grown up his entire life with dogs running around his house. Please do keep in mind that we are dog sitters not dog trainers... If your pooch is destructive or disobedient; please let us know before hand, those kind of surprises are not always fun. We are currently at home full time due to the pandemic and being unemployed which means we will be available for you whenever you need us! About: I have cared for pets all of my life- from hamsters to parakeets to fish to cats to my parents German Shepherd! I now have an Irish doodle, Aurora, and a golden doodle, Blaze, who love new friends. My husband, Jordan, is also an avid dog lover, and his family raises Norwegian elkhounds; so between the two of us we have quite a bit of experience. The neighbors always know that they can leave their pets in our hands and not only will they be fed and cared for, but also receive lots of love and attention as well. I am able to do bathing/grooming when required, as well as administer medicine should the necessity arise. We have moved! We now live on Skinner Hill Road, Sempronius/ Moravia, about 12 minutes from our previous location on Salt Rd, Groton. Our family will be growing by one tiny human in October 2023, and I have quit my full time job in preparation of that! So, I now have extra time to give to your fur babies when they come to stay! At the Doodle & Kaboodle, we’re all about the dogs! I currently live in a large house in the country with my husband, Jordan, our daughter Arielle (born 2023), our Irish doodle, Aurora, and our golden doodle, Blaze. Our backyard is fully fenced with agricultural grade 5 foot fencing for lots of outdoor fun! The dogs also have free run of the downstairs of our home. Overnight, dogs are kept in crates. They may also be crated if they seem overstimulated or need a break from playing. However, they will spend the majority of their time playing freely with our dogs. If your pup is not accustomed to being crated, we will arrange a quiet place in the house for their down time. Tell me your dog’s schedule and I will do my best to replicate it. Dog pick up and drop off is between 8 am and 9 pm seven days a week. Drop ins and walks: I am now able to make a drop in or walk your pup any time, any day! Due to the increase in fuel costs, I can no longer travel more than 10 miles from home. I have raised my drop in/ walk prices as well to compensate for fuel; however, I have drastically lowered my “second dog fee” to help balance the price out for those of you who are lucky enough to have more than one dog. Males over 6 months must be neutered for safety reasons. Unspayed females are welcome. If your dog goes into heat while staying with us, I will do my best to care for her. However, I do not assume responsibility for accidental pregnancy. No dogs who have a history of being aggressive with dogs or people are accepted. For liability reasons, I am not able to keep pit bulls or any mixed breed pit bulls or staffordshire terriers in my home. All other breeds are welcome! For the healthy and safety of all dogs, every dog must be vaccinated against rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordetella, as well as be on an active flea/tick preventative, in order to stay in our home. We also require proof of a clean fecal test within the last 6 months to stay in our home. We appreciate your understanding that this is to keep everyone safe and healthy! When you decide to book, you are confirming that to the best of your knowledge your dog does not have any contagious health conditions including but not limited to parasites, giardia, ringworm, mange, and other skin conditions and parasites/worms. If your dog has an obvious illness when he/she arrives I reserve the right to turn him/her away for the health and safety for all other dogs in my care. If you are not sure if your dog may be ill, please tell me the symptoms before drop off so we can make a decision ahead of time. Please provide food, dishes, bedding, crate, leash, collar, and anything else your dog may need. If you are not able to bring a crate please let me know and I will see what I can do. I have a few extras but may not always have the size required. Every dog must have a buckle on collar or similar. Slip on leashes are not accepted. A collar with id tags is recommended. I have a tag with my phone number that I will attach to your dogs collar while staying with me if you are not able to provide one. About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! I currently work remotely, and plan on continuing this. I have open availability. For Drop off or pick up my hours are between 8am - 8pm. I am also available most weekends! About: Hi, my name is Rachel and I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Childhood Education in 2017. I am now in graduate school at SUNY Cortland working towards a masters degree in recreation. I have always loved dogs and have been around them my whole life. I grew up with a lab/german shepherd mix named Bubba and got my first puppy at age 13, an 8 wk old beagle named Cody. Most importantly, I am a firm believer in all things safety. I worked with horses for over 10 years so I know how important it is to follow the instructions I have been given. I may be small, but I am mighty! I can handle big dogs, mean cats, and fresh horses! I am more than happy to change any of my procedures to accommodate your fur baby, just ask!
About: New to the Homer area - previously served neighbors in the Newfield, Ithaca, and surrounding areas! Available most weekdays nights, weekends, holidays, and summers. My wife and I tag-team our clients as best as we can (joint meet and greets, visits, and sometimes swap on and off if one of us is only available). We have a 4-year old mixed Terrier and two kitties. I have always grown up with animals and I can assure you that I will provide your pet with the same loving care as I would my own. I am flexible with services including home visits, walks, dog park, feedings, medication administration, etc. Overnight stays are difficult, but I am flexible in helping however possible with various drop ins and various hours if needed. About: Hello! I have been a dog groomer for over 10 years and a part time dog walker for 5. I have recently become more available to take on another client or two. I have done long term dog walking and dog sitting for a few local families in the Cortland area. They love me and I love them and their pups! I'm currently employed as a psrt-time dog groomer and have been at this facility for 10 years. 5 years ago I began dog sitting and walking for a few local families and now that my children are older I'm able to take on another client or two. My weekly schedule is flexible but Friday's I'm unavailble all day due to a full client scheudle that day! I have three dogs, a cat, and some chickens. All my animals are up to date and we have an electric fence to maintain their boundary. They get alot fo walking, running (especially the goldendoodle,) naps, and lovin'. My clients pets get walked twice a day, sometimes three if needed. I have one family who just likes me to go and let them out, play some fetch, and lots of belly rubs. I have been asked to take pets for walks, emergency pick ups from boarding facilities, and asked to do feeding schedules.

About: I have cared for pets all of my life- from hamsters to parakeets to fish to cats to my parents German Shepherd! I now have an Irish doodle, Aurora, and a golden doodle, Blaze, who love new friends. My husband, Jordan, is also an avid dog lover, and his family raises Norwegian elkhounds; so between the two of us we have quite a bit of experience. The neighbors always know that they can leave their pets in our hands and not only will they be fed and cared for, but also receive lots of love and attention as well. I am able to do bathing/grooming when required, as well as administer medicine should the necessity arise. We have moved! We now live on Skinner Hill Road, Sempronius/ Moravia, about 12 minutes from our previous location on Salt Rd, Groton. Our family will be growing by one tiny human in October 2023, and I have quit my full time job in preparation of that! So, I now have extra time to give to your fur babies when they come to stay! At the Doodle & Kaboodle, we’re all about the dogs! I currently live in a large house in the country with my husband, Jordan, our daughter Arielle (born 2023), our Irish doodle, Aurora, and our golden doodle, Blaze. Our backyard is fully fenced with agricultural grade 5 foot fencing for lots of outdoor fun! The dogs also have free run of the downstairs of our home. Overnight, dogs are kept in crates. They may also be crated if they seem overstimulated or need a break from playing. However, they will spend the majority of their time playing freely with our dogs. If your pup is not accustomed to being crated, we will arrange a quiet place in the house for their down time. Tell me your dog’s schedule and I will do my best to replicate it. Dog pick up and drop off is between 8 am and 9 pm seven days a week. Drop ins and walks: I am now able to make a drop in or walk your pup any time, any day! Due to the increase in fuel costs, I can no longer travel more than 10 miles from home. I have raised my drop in/ walk prices as well to compensate for fuel; however, I have drastically lowered my “second dog fee” to help balance the price out for those of you who are lucky enough to have more than one dog. Males over 6 months must be neutered for safety reasons. Unspayed females are welcome. If your dog goes into heat while staying with us, I will do my best to care for her. However, I do not assume responsibility for accidental pregnancy. No dogs who have a history of being aggressive with dogs or people are accepted. For liability reasons, I am not able to keep pit bulls or any mixed breed pit bulls or staffordshire terriers in my home. All other breeds are welcome! For the healthy and safety of all dogs, every dog must be vaccinated against rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordetella, as well as be on an active flea/tick preventative, in order to stay in our home. We also require proof of a clean fecal test within the last 6 months to stay in our home. We appreciate your understanding that this is to keep everyone safe and healthy! When you decide to book, you are confirming that to the best of your knowledge your dog does not have any contagious health conditions including but not limited to parasites, giardia, ringworm, mange, and other skin conditions and parasites/worms. If your dog has an obvious illness when he/she arrives I reserve the right to turn him/her away for the health and safety for all other dogs in my care. If you are not sure if your dog may be ill, please tell me the symptoms before drop off so we can make a decision ahead of time. Please provide food, dishes, bedding, crate, leash, collar, and anything else your dog may need. If you are not able to bring a crate please let me know and I will see what I can do. I have a few extras but may not always have the size required. Every dog must have a buckle on collar or similar. Slip on leashes are not accepted. A collar with id tags is recommended. I have a tag with my phone number that I will attach to your dogs collar while staying with me if you are not able to provide one. Please note: all services require a meet and greet with the pet owner and pet before booking! Any questions, just ask! We can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member!
About: I'm Emily! I've taken care of a variety of different animals since I was very young, from dogs, cats, lizards, bunnies, chinchillas, guinea pigs etc. I've grown up living with dogs since I was a child so I'm extremely comfortable around many dog breeds big and small. Family, friends, neighbors and coworkers have relied on me for years to watch over, care for, walk, feed etc. their pets. I have lots of experience with big dogs and am really comfortable walking them, I grew up with 2 rottweilers and a great pyrenees so I'm used to a big dog on a leash. I am currently a college student with a light open schedule so I will be able to fit your needs pretty much however you need. I would make sure your pets safety is my number one priority and my second priority would be to make sure your furry friend is enjoying their time! “We are so lucky to have found Ashley C. on Rover. Com. Ashley and her husband Brian boarded our 5 month old German Shepherd (Isa) from 7/24/23-7/29/23 at their home. Each morning Ashley sent me an update on Isa’s day without fail. She also included numerous pictures of Isa engaging in play with her own personal dogs. Although, prior to obtaining Isa, one of are greatest worries was that having another dog would tie us down and limit our vacations we enjoy taking. We knew having a German shepherd would be a bit hard to travel with for the most part. I did look at other boarding options but I found them to be lacking and caused me a few sleepless nights on where or who to leave Isa with. Ashley arranged a meet and greet and I knew in the 1st three minutes that Isa would be fine in Ashley’s home. Isa did wonderful and I did not have a single worry regarding Isa. Each picture showed me that she was thoroughly playing hard, engaged and loved all the romping around with Ashley’s dogs. They have a great yard and are certainly experienced in boarding dogs. They were very good at keeping her at home routine so she was comfortable. I couldn’t thank Ashley and Brian enough for the care they provided for Isa.”
