“I cannot say enough amazing things about Jordan. She provided excellent care to our 2 dogs, cat and turtle. She stayed in our home for 7 nights and 8 days while we were away. She sent daily communication on all our pets with pictures. Our dog Max can be challenging and Jordan won him over quickly! She loved them all like her own and you could really tell her love of animals and wanted to make sure she took care of them like we would. My husband both walked into the house and swear she left it tidier then we left.”

“Nicole provided exceptional care for our dog during our week out of town. She was our first Rover hire, and we have no complaints, just appreciation! Our dog Lucy has a lot of anxiety about new experiences and people, but she loved Nicole! We definitely will book Nicole again in the future.”

“Jamie provided exceptional care for Poli, going above and beyond in managing his diabetes. Her regular updates and pictures reassured us that our dog was in good hands, and it was heartwarming to hear that Poli felt comfortable enough to sleep with her on the second night. This level of connection indicates her genuine compassion and expertise in handling pets with special needs. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care. Thank you, Jamie, for taking such wonderful care of our little guy!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 8 years old I remember helping my mom walk my aunt’s cocker spaniel who we watched very frequently. I also had helped feed and clean litter boxes for my uncle’s cats when I lived with him. From there my love for animals blossomed. I have also been a dog groomer for over 13 years. I currently have a dog, 3 cats and a gecko. I do work full time Wednesday-Sunday but if I’m dog walking I can usually go to your home before work and after work. I can housesit and can stay overnight I would just be at work during the day. Just ask my exact availability and we shall see if we are a good fit!! If I were to come to your home, I would provide the upmost care for them. Just let me know what your pet likes to do during the day and I can flow with their daily schedule.

“Jill took great care of our doggos! We are very happy we found her and have already booked for a repeat stay later this summer. We booked way in advance and she was great about coming to meet the dogs, not once (early), but twice (the week of our trip). You can tell she loves dogs and was so patient with our shy one. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures!”

“Karena was so fantastic house sitting our 2 pups. She stayed with them for a full week! She cleaned up after our one dog got sick on the rug, made sure both dogs ate and went for plenty of walks, sent pictures regularly, gave our dogeached out when she had specific care questions. She was highly respectful of our house, too! Would definitely book her again!”

“Lydia was super awesome! Our pup Remi was super happy after Lydia stayed with him for the day. She was willing to step in on a moments notice and communicated with us throughout her day with Remi. We will definitely be booking her again!”

“Abbey eased my mind while I was away with her updates, photos, and videos of my cat Edward. She gave him great companionship (they seemed to get along fabulously!) as well as giving him daily medication and administering his inhaler. She was very attentive with his care and communicative and took my many instructions and things to watch for in stride!”

About: I am a 31 year old healthcare professional who also absolutely LOVES animals. I have cared for humans my whole life in healthcare and always wanted to care for animals as well! Caring is in my nature and something I am very passionate about. My love for animals runs deep and I understand the importance of making sure your furbabies are well cared for when you can't be there. I promise to be just excited as your furbabies to go for walks, or as calm as needed to provide your potentially anxious furbaby with comfort when you're gone. I have cared for my pets at home for 10+ years and know how important it is to keep them on a routine/ schedule. I am very reliable and fully dedicated to caring for your furbabies- I will take the time to hangout and play with your furbabies, take them on long walks, provide them with their food to keep them on schedule, clean up any messes they may make, and care for them as if they were my own. I will always be sure to communicate openly with you to ensure your furbabies are best cared for and hopefully be able to ease some of the worries associated with leaving your furbabies. I have a flexible work schedule & would love to spend time with your fur baby when you can’t. Every week looks different for me, but I’m happy to work with clients so we can optimize the care given to your fur baby. Safety is most important. Your fur babies safety and well being are top priority. I will always ensure they are well cared for and paid close attention to.

“Bryanna was fantastic! She accepted our last-minute request to dog sit on July 4th and made everything easy. She communicated clearly, showed up right on time, and took great care of our dogs, EJ and Raven. Although she had to leave a little early, she made sure our dogs were all set and comfortable before heading out. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness and responsibility. We'd absolutely recommend Bryanna and would gladly book with her again!”

About: Hello! My name is Shannon and I have spent nearly my entire life caring for animals and would love to care for yours. While earning my degree as a Wildlife Biologist, I was a professional dog walker and pet sitter for a host of repeat clients for years in MN. Moving to NYC, I pounded the pavement with furry friends while also working as an Ornithologist at the American Museum of Natural History. I have worked at myriad veterinary clinics as a Vet Tech with domestic as well as exotic pets. I can safely administer medication from the largest Mastiff to the most delicate of Budgies. I have been cornered by an Andean Condor and lived to tell while a Zookeeper at the Bronx Zoo, where animal care expertise was of paramount importance. Training and enrichment exercises are competitive assets I am able to offer to support your critter's happy, healthy home life. Running a small petting zoo has familiarized me with the barnyard friends as well. In addition to my extensive professional experience, I am committed to animal welfare advocacy via fostering, fundraising and volunteerism. While studying monkeys in Belize, I co-founded a local Humane Society chapter to assuage conflict between residents and feral dog populations. Our Boston Terrier, Hooligan, and I are avid hikers and love explore all the terrain the Hudson Valley has to offer. We would enjoy bringing your hiking buddy along with us! I look forward to making your young, old, furry, feathered or scaly friends tired and happy - showered with affection and fun!

I love going on walks personally. I will happily take your pets with me! I also majored in English Literature, so I read a lot in my free time. Like I said, I spend most of my day reading or watching TV. I am heavy on the search for a job, so I will be spending my days on the laptop revising cover letters!

About: I'm Jonathan (though I mainly go by Jack). For years, I've been providing top-quality pet care in the New York area. I put in the time to get to know your pet's unique needs. I take my responsibility to care for your animal very seriously and will do whatever it takes to help them (and you!) feel safe and happy. Trust me to be there for your beloved pet when you can't be! My schedule is currently very flexible. I'm available for daytime drop-ins, walks, feeding, etc. for dogs and cats. Very open for overnight stays, though I may need to go visit other clients. I can't take pets at my home, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to care for your pet at yours. I do a quick "get to know you" session before agreeing to a new client, so that I can meet you and your animal, get acquainted with your home, ask important questions about your and your pet's needs, and make sure that I understand exactly how to give your pet the highest level of care!

Jonathan C.
“I can’t recommend Jonathan highly enough! He has cared for my 11-year-old dog, Dinah on two different occasions, one where I was away in Europe for almost two weeks (the longest I've ever been away from her), and went above and beyond. From the moment we met, Jonathan showed warmth, professionalism, and an genuine understanding of Dinah’s needs as a senior dog who's still large and feisty. Dinah can be a little shy and particular, but she took to Jonathan immediately—something that rarely happens. He was incredibly patient with her, attentive to her routines, and kept me updated with little notes about their time together. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was in such capable and caring hands. When I returned home, Dinah was calm, and clearly well cared for. Her feeding and medication schedule had been followed to the letter, and it was clear she had been treated with affection. Jonathan is trustworthy, responsible, and truly loves animals. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pet like their own, Jonathan is the one. Thank you, Jonathan, for treating Dinah like family. We’re both so grateful!”
