I was very happy with my overall experience with Rover. It was easy to set up and choose someone to care for my 2 cats when I was out of town. Nancy was great! She came when she said she would and gave me updates at each visit. When I came home, the house was so calm and peaceful. The cats were safe, fed and happy. I would definitely recommend Nancy and will use her again in the future. Thanks! :) Rose G.

About: My name is Lauren and I live in Rock Tavern, NY with my fiancé John and our Golden Retrievers Crosby and Banks! I work from home in the medical field so I have very flexible hours to care for your fur baby. John works from home as well, so we can always be available for your fur baby. I've always loved animals and understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I'm committed to providing personalized care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm dependable, responsive, and believe in keeping pet parents updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how your furry family member is doing. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions carefully, and I'm happy to accommodate each pet's individual needs. My goal is to make every visit a positive experience by treating your pets with the same patience, attention, and affection I'd want for my own. You can count on me to provide reliable, compassionate care and give your pets the love and attention they deserve. I work from home full time which gives me a very flexible schedule to care for your pet and give them the love and attention they deserve! We have a large fenced in yard - perfect for play time, fetch and running to their hearts content. They will never be left outside unsupervised as I keep a close watch on them.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. I currently own 3 dogs, a parrot, and 2 chickens and will give your animals the same love and attention that I give my own! I'm currently working part time and so have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am currently available for house sitting, drop in visits and dog walking. If your dogs get along with mine I might be able to do boarding as well. I have a dog door at my house with a fenced in yard along with 5 acres of fields to walk in. When coming to your home, I use my deep knowlege of dogs, cats, and other animals to keep your animals happy in their own home where your pets are MOST comfortable. They have the comfort of knowing they are safe in a place where they can learn to trust me and we can develop a bond so I can give your pets the same level of love and care as I would give my own pets.

Julia was fantastic. We needed someone to drop in for our chocolate lab while we were away for a softball tournament. I realized he needed two drop ins and she was very accommodating. She was punctual, friendly, and took good care of our boy. Would recommend Julia 🙂

Maritza was great with my cat, Riley. She took time to meet Riley and get an idea of her daily routine. She provided daily updates with tons of photos and videos and a description of how Riley was during each visit. Maritza was very respectful throughout the process and provided me with a sense of ease knowing my cat was in good hands while I was away. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services! Thank you!

All ages are welcome from seniors (medicine included) to littles. I work full time and my husband (my pet loving partner) is home in the AM hours. We are a team of pet care. About: I have a very special connection with all animals and will love and care for your pet as if it were my own! I have a lifetime of experience with cats and a few years of experience with dogs, namely raising and training my own dog from ~2 months old. He’s the sweetest, happiest pup and he is very loved! I work from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pet, whether that’s walking them, playing with them or bringing them to appointments!! I don’t have a fenced in yard but have plenty of space to walk and play with your dog outside (or inside!). I can crate the dog if necessary, and my puppy is extremely friendly and welcoming with new dogs!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 974 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Little Britain. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Little Britain. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
