I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

I place play as a very high need for dogs and cats to increase their wellbeing. I will also ensure the food and water bowls are cleaned each day I drop in.

“Could not have had a better person to look after the girls. So consistent on her arrivals. Apparently the cats loved her. Upon her returning house key, our big gray Tabby jumped off my lap and ran to the front door and blocked Sydney from leaving. Had to lead her out of garage to get to her car. Sydney also drew our shy scaredy cat out on first visit! All three were relaxed and happy upon our return. Sydney many many thanks for taking care of the girls.”

“Christy is paw-some! She took diligent and friendly care of my cat while I was on duty. She sent updates and pictures too! Christy is a great person for anyone to leave their pet with!”

About: I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15, with family and friends depending on me to provide quality care to their pets. I am familiar with hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, lizards, cats and dogs. I work full time, but I am able to provide potty breaks for my lunch hour. I am fully available on weekends! I am always welcome to discussing a more detailed schedule that meets your needs, as well as your future babies. I have a fenced in yard with fresh water hook up and a large dog house, with a tree that provides shade. I have three amazing dogs that are very animal friendly, especially with our cats. Our dogs are crate trained, so if your pet needs crated for any reason, I can also provide that as well.

Syd D.
“Syd has been an avid pet love their whole life. Ever since they were a little kid all they have ever wanted to do was to take care of animals. It never mattered what kind either. Frogs, snakes, lizzards, chipmunks, dogs, cats, etc...they have experience working with them all. Now they are majoring in wild life rehabilitation at a tremendous school in order to fulfill their lifelong dream of helping as many animals as they can. A type 1 diabetic since 18 months old forced Syd to grow up very quickly and learn about self care and responsibility at a very early age. This has only gotten stronger as they have grown and now that same responsibility encompasses every aspect of their life. Syd is an amazing person and the biggest animal lover you will ever come across. Nobody will make a better caregiver than Syd.”

Nikita C.
“Nikita has dog sat for us for years! She is very reliable and wonderful with our pups! I recommend her for any animal you have!”
