About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. Loki was rescued from a litter of pups, where he was the runt that nobody wanted. Prada was rescued from a "homeless", who could not care for her. About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue sanctuary for 10+ years. As a caretaker my duties at the sanctuary require demanding physical labor, housekeeping, and responsibilities of supervision over animals and other volunteers. “I had an emergency and needed someone to take my two rough collies on their twice-daily walks. One is a retired service dog who is deaf, and the other is a young collie with epilepsy. Because of their special needs, I was quite anxious about finding the right person. Caitlin was exactly what I needed. She had a calm, reassuring presence and was warm, gentle, and playful with both dogs. She quickly understood their individual needs. By the second day, they were eagerly waiting for her arrival. Luna, the service dog, had never “done her business” on a leash before, but with Caitlin, she had no hesitation. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. Let’s talk! I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals. About: I have been pet sitting for roughly 10 years. It started when I was young just caring for my friends dogs and cats when they went out of town but has evolved into a small client base that I want to expand. I have cared for mostly senor dogs, providing them with medication as it was prescribed, ensuring they were safe when outside, and updating owners on any changes in behavior and physical condition. Recently I have gotten my own dog who is now three years old and that is the most experience I had with puppies but I do know quite a bit about training and am willing to care for young dogs as well. Because she is my own dog, she must be able to come with me to overnight stays, she is very friendly with dogs, cats, and even horses!. I love dogs with all my heart and grew up with them in the house. I don't have any cats in my family but I do know how important they are to their family and I love to take care of the cats I have taken care of in the past. I truly believe our pets are part of the family and deserve care and comfort when their humans are away. I am a full time student currently so I don't have the most time in the world but I am more than happy to take a break from school work to play and walk with pets and then maybe hang out together while I study before their dinnertime! I like to get a rough idea of the pets typical schedule and stick as close to that as possible, making sure everyone is fed on time, walked when walks are needed, and generally keeping them on the same schedule they are used to! I have found this to be the best option as it gives the pets a sense of normalcy in their routine while the family is away.
About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: Your dog won't just be sitting around in my home, I'll likely be giving it attention or playing with it majority of my time (unless that's not what the dog wants). I love every size of dog, especially very large dogs that love to cuddle. I've owned a lab for 9 years and a blue heeler for 11. My lab has been everything from difficult to the most pleasant dog you'll meet so I have experience with it all. I often go on runs so if you have an athletic dog or one that needs lots of exercise I've got you. I have no time constraints after 2pm half of the week, and 4pm the other half of the week. If I am watching your dog at my place I am definitely not opposed to early morning walks, I enjoy getting up early to walk them.

About: I love all the fur babies and feel the all deserves the best of love. I have a clean and safe home for all the fur babies. I would love to spoil them! I work Monday -Saturday 7am - 7pm in hickory, nc I’m usually home every weekend. And in the evenings from 7pm to 6am. I have two daughters at home with me. I take them out as they need it and feed them your scheduled feedings. I also like to play with fur babies and give them the attention they deserve.
