About: I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was a kid, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a beloved member of our family for 12 wonderful years, and since then we have welcomed three more pups into our lives. One of them is my own, Nala, a pitbull mix who is truly my entire world. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including geriatric dogs and those needing regular medication. In addition to dogs, I’ve had rabbits since I was 11. My current bunny, Minnette, will be 14 this August after losing her bonded partner in 2021. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends and family and am comfortable with feline care. Over the years I’ve rescued many dogs and volunteered at the Animal Protective Association, also known as APA, in St. Louis where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a particular interest in dog body language and behavior. I love learning how to make animals feel safe, understood, and happy. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or energetic, I will be attentive to their unique needs and treat them like family. I just graduated college at Mizzou, and am taking a gap year before I begin graduate school next fall! This means I have plenty of time and my schedule is wide open to care for your pets. <3 I have always been an avid animal lover-- not even just dogs, but all sorts of pets! I have had my bunny since she was 1 year old and I was 11, and she is now about to turn 14 next month! I have also had dogs since I was 7 years old! I grew up with my childhood dog, Louie for 12 years. Now, I have my own dog, Nala. I have had her for about 3 years now, and I consider myself to be a helicopter parent (ask anyone haha)! With that being said, I am ALWAYS paying attention to details, instructions, and am very vigilant about making sure your pet is getting everything they need. As I do with my own pets, I will give that same attention and dedication to yours!

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the way I care for your pets like they’re my own. My two children absolutely love giving gentle “lovins” and playtime to our furry (and feathered) guests, and they’re always excited to welcome new animal friends into the mix. Caring for animals fits right into our family rhythm—it’s not just part of our schedule, it’s part of who we are. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. We live in the country with plenty of fresh air, room to roam, and a fully fenced outdoor space where dogs can play safely and freely. Inside, pets have cozy spots to relax and are never left feeling isolated—whether it’s curling up on the couch or enjoying quiet time away from the action if they prefer. We follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, potty breaks, walks, medication, and cuddle time are all handled with care and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and your pet’s comfort zone. I make sure their daily routine is kept consistent and stress-free, from feeding and potty breaks to walks and companionship. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit or staying overnight, I keep communication open with photo updates and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed—whether they’re in my home or staying in theirs.

About: I have been animal sitting now for the last six years of my life. I have taken animals of all sizes and animals with disabilities and special needs. I work Tuesday through Saturday from 9-5 but I am available anytime outside of the frame. Holidays I am always available for if given enough notice. I like to give lots of attention, let me know what your fur baby likes and doesn’t to help me take the best care I can for them. Lists are a big help for me on anything from what time they eat to when they need their medicine.

About: Growing up, I was a part of a program called Human Animal Bonding in Colorado, where I was taught how to connect top dogs emotionally, socially and verbally and use those skills to apply to real life situations, breaking me out of my social, insecure, neurodivergent shell. I've grown up with six big terriers, so I know my way around big, cuddly, dogs. My best friend is a German Shepherd named Ziva. I currently work part-time shifts that can go from 7-2 (Tues), or 7 - 11 (Wed), or 7-4 (weekends). I wish to pursue my dog-loving passions and possibly turn it into a career, alongside with my first responder training, and I hope starting Rover will do that. I take care of big dogs, numerous cats, and six other types of animals at home, so I can't have other animals at home due to the unfamiliarity. I am looking for extra activities, ones that consists outside of work and home because that's all where I am ever at these days. I just moved to Missouri, and I hope to find show the love I have for animals to places beyond my home. I have all kinds of necessary dog/cat accommodations. I have crates if needed, toys, extra food, leashes, etc. In my home, I have two big dogs who are trained to stay on 30 acres of property, they co-exist with barn cats and other various animals. Because of the other critters on the land, I do have to let them outside every time I leave the house. I had a dog that received special medical treatment every day and had to be watched regularly as he grew mean and tiredsome due to his deteriorating health. Fortunately, he is in a better place, but it shows that I can manage and care for dogs all of different behaviors and necessities and if I can use some of that stuff for other dogs, I've love to.

About: I have taken care of pets all my life! I grew up with multiple dogs in the house (and some cats) and have always been obsessed with animals! I’ve even fostered the last couple years and gotten to know a plethora of breeds and temperaments! I currently work part-time and would have plenty of time to prioritize your pet! I would include them in everything I do and always inform you of our every move. I have a back yard and a car if transportation of your pet is needed. I have multiple rooms where your furry friend can choose to be on a couch with company or in his crate by himself.

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, daily eye drops, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments. I am currently not working and doing school online! This allows me to have a very flexible schedule so I am able to accept same day requests! I live with my partner so he is able to care for our pets while I am away. Because I have pets of my own, I don't currently accept jobs that would require me to keep them in my home. As such, I am more than happy to stay with your pets the entire time you are away (unless we discuss any time I may have preplanned events). I would stay the night with them if you are gone overnight so we don't have any accidents or stress! I would do my best to uphold any schedule you already have in place (ie feeding, walks, medicine, bedtime).

About: I’ve had animals since I was a young child. I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats.. and I love animals. I have a large back yard also I currently work 6am -2:30pm and I’m home on my lunch breaks.I’m a home body so I’m home all the time. My animals are very well taken care of. I have a large fenced in yard my animals are inside dogs. I can also crate train if need be.my animals are allowed on the furniture and can run around in the yard and have kids to play with as I have 2 kids

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and I love taking care of fur babies, I’ve also taken care of family’s pets and plants before I can do weekends and weekdays, I’ll take great care of your babies! I’m always gentle with any animal I meet as to not scare them away I’m always very respectful of boundaries and I always hold my hand out so I can let your animal sniff it and get comfy with me so I don’t scare them and I’m very gentle and caring, growing up my own dogs would get into fights so I know how to handle aggressive animals.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little! I grew up on a farm & then during college I worked for a dog training facility & cared for many dogs there as well! I work weekdays with some exceptions on the weekends. My calendar of availability is updated everyday. Please do not book out longer than a month from the current date without messaging me first. I have a dog of my own! She’s super friendly. But I won’t be bringing her with me on calls unless talked about with you first!

About: Personally I have 6 dogs of my own that I take care of every single day plus two cats! Including a border collie/Australian shepherd mix, purebred Australian shepherd, two mini toy Australian shepherds, a Havanese/Maltese mix, and an English pointer. As you can see no job is too big, or messy lol! I have experience in taking care of multiple dogs at once and I’m different shapes and sizes. I absolutely adore animals and make it my life goal to do everything I can to help and care for them. I’ve bathed, walked, fed, played, and cleaned up after at least 2 dogs at once and have no problem with multitasking by now:). Every year my parents go to Colorado for two-three weeks and I also watch their dogs as well! I have gotten all 6 of my dogs when they were puppies so I definitely have experience with puppy accidents, energy and over all care. I recently had a senior dachshund who lived to be 17. With that in mind, I have experience with giving medications, helping the senior pups getting around, and making sure all their needs are met. I am currently working a part time job along with school from 9:30-1:50. After May 15th I will be graduated and open for full time dog caring! My work schedule usually follows 4pm-9:30pm on weeks days and 7am-12pm on weekends. I have a huge fenced in yard with plenty of toys and dog beds to keep your doggo happy and comfy! I personally give my dogs potty breaks every 2-4 hours when possible. I know everyone has their own preferences to how their animal is cared for so your word is my promise. I will follow your regular routine as much as possible to keep you and your furry friend happy! I will bathe, walk, run, play, love and care for every single animal.

About: I love all dogs of every kind this is what I enjoy doing love walking a couple dog's at at a time come give us a try. I'm a stay at home mom love taking care of animals of all sizes your animal will have a fun stay so you can enjoy your time on vacation. I have a very large fenced in yard so they can run around also have a large dog kennel for smaller dogs to play in.

About: Hi! I’m Rachel & I formerly worked at A Second Chance! I grew up around high maintenance & energy dogs (Huskies) which made me very reliable on caring for & cleaning up after them! I’m a very avid animal rescuer, specializing in cats! This year alone I’ve rescued 3 litters of kittens, cared for all & rehomed them to great homes. I’m a proud cat & dog mom! I have 4 cats & a Siberian Husky. This keeps me on my toes everyday & leaves me wanting more experience with other animals. I grew up on farms so I’m a lot of fun outside & great with long walks! Due to my working experience, I’m great at problem solving. I’m also very good at keeping company & understanding your animal’s wants & needs. Comfortability is key.
