About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I now have three rescue cats of my own, 5 year old brother and sister red tabbies that we have had since 2 weeks old and a black 3 year old shelter rescue. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). Cub Creek Science and Animal Camp (CCSC) allowed me to work with their animals as an Animal Specialist in Training (ASIT), where I helped clean porcupine poop and feed ferrets, and every other animal in there. They had everything, frogs, reptiles, insects, birds, and so many mammals. While I absolutely adored taking care of the exotics, I also LOVE domestics!
