“Emily was absolutely wonderful! My 11 year old cat was snuggling with her when she visited. Emily took great care of my baby and sent me photos and videos of her when I was traveling. I highly recommend Emily and will definitely reach out to her next time we go away!”

“Sarah established an immediate rapport with my very snarky cat, and spent some good time with her over the weekend. Feeding and substantial cleanup were accomplished to specifications. All went swimmingly.”

“Vicki is excellent - thorough, communicative and so caring. I have a very sweet cat that is very skittish and so mostly hid but in knowing this, Vicki was ready to coax her to play or leave her be if that seemed in order. This was my first time being away for more than a couple days and it was such a boon to find Vicki and a relief knowing my cat was so well looked after.”

“Melissa is absolutely one of the best sitters on Rover. She is communicative, friendly, responsible and loves animals. She goes above and beyond to care for your pets as demonstrated while watching our two frenchies for a week. She noticed Sparky’s pain meds running low and promptly informed us so that we could obtain a refill. She also noticed that Sparky’s eye wrinkles needed cleaning and cleaned them! I cannot recommend her enough. My pups were very happy in her care.”

“Shana was great with our two cats. They can be difficult sometimes and she handled them like a pro and befriended them quickly. Great communication and pictures as well. We’ll definitely be using her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs as pets my entire life. I’ve dog-sat for family and friends. I trained my current dog as a puppy, and have given many dirty pups baths! I have pretty open availability throughout the week. I live in a nice neighborhood where I can easily walk dogs, and also live not too far from the dog park! I take care of my dog, feeding, walking, bathing etc. I have a small fenced in area in my backyard perfect for small to medium sized dogs and I do have a small crate if necessary.

“Tatiana was a dream! The way she looked after my sweet, but very shy and nervous cat was more than I could have asked for. Her communication and photos were fabulous. She knew that I was a little apprehensive about leaving my cat, and she did everything to alleviate my stress. Esme has a new friend and I have a forever pet sitter. Honestly, she was just amazing.”

“Our first few visits with Katherine went great! My typically very shy senior boy was immediately very comfortable with her which was such a nice surprise. We will definitely continue to book with Katherine :)”

About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.

About: I have years of experience caring for cats, dogs and rabbits. I have cared for older dogs with diabetes who require a daily shot and given extra play time to younger cats and dogs who need to use up their energy. I can provide care for multiple animals in one home and adjust to each pet’s personal needs. As a cat owner myself, I am sensitive to each cat’s personality and unique nature. I have given oral medication to cats who need treatment and always interact with them on their terms. I am happy to discuss your pet’s personal needs in order to keep them comfortable and happy. I love spending time outside. I often go for walks and hikes and love taking dogs along with me. Reach out with your pet’s needs and we can work something out. I make sure to follow the routines that your pet is comfortable with in their home. I always aim to be sensitive to your pets needs, body language and comfort level.

“Cipriana has been great with my two dogs. One of them takes time to get comfortable with new people and he warmed up to her easily. She spends time with them, giving them a break from the monotony of the day. This really helps with their energy level when I get home. She’s been great!”

“Sebastian took wonderful care of my ornery old cat while I was in Japan. She communicated on a daily basis, was very responsible, honest , and caring. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter.”

“Melissa did a wonderful job taking care of my cat Lucy!! She was communicative, sent lots of photos, and Lucy seemed very happy. When I returned my apartment exactly as I left it and she took great care of my plants too. I would absolutely recommend :)”

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: Love talking to animals and figuring out their language. Sometimes it’s a way a cat rubs against you or a dog smells your feet love I have weekends open enough I could spend a night w a furry little person or a flexible work week to check in on a loved furry or scaly friend for water food and petting. I am a gardener biker and outdoor person rain or shine so a long walk in a rail trail fits in my schedule When watching my clients chickens outside I checked on their hen house and cleaned it out put in new hay and make sure they got food and water twice a day but at least one free range walk

About: I specialize in attentive, stress-free cat care, with a deep understanding of feline behavior and needs. I’ve also cared for dogs and know how to ensure they feel safe, seen, and comfortable. My calm presence and attention to detail set me apart when it comes to compassionate, reliable pet care. My schedule allows for catering to all of a pet's needs: feeding, grooming, walking, playing and enrichment, medication administration, etc. I can also do multiple drop-ins per day/extended drop-ins for pets that need company throughout the day. I live in an apartment complex, so I would not be able to host your pet in my home, but I have reliable transportation and would love to come to you!

Sasha S.
“Sasha is a natural with animals! She’s a fur mom to her own beautiful cats who are happy as can be. When I went out of town, I asked her to walk and feed my dog twice a day for a weekend. She sent me pictures and updates so I knew my fur baby was well taken care of. I highly recommend Sasha as your next pet sitter because she is very easy to communicate with and has a flexible schedule!”

Alex S.
“Alex is hands down my go-to person for pet care. I know that when she’s in charge of my fur babies that they’re in the best hands they could be in, and they’ll get all of the love, care, and attention they could ever need. We are always excited when we get to see her!”
