About: I’ve had animals even longer than 8 years but I don’t necessarily consider it caring til I was around 10. I’ve had cats, dogs, and sheep. In addition for other people, I have also cared for horses, geckos, and fish! I want to do it as much as possible, but reaching out preferably 2 weeks ahead is best for me so I can put it into my work schedule. My work will have to come first but I’m open to working around it :) My number one priorities are to make sure the animals are well taken care of and comfortable- whether that mean coming over multiple times a day or staying awhile for company.
“Kayla has continued to be fabulous. She and Boots have continued to build a sweet friendship and he loves LOVES LOVES when his good friend Kayla arrives to go on their walk. Thank you so much Kayla!”

“I was so grateful Heather could come help with walks during the day for my senior dogs. It really gave me good piece of mind to know they were getting an extra break when I had to be away!”

About: I’ve had animals most of my life. I lost my two darling shih tzus a few years ago and miss them but not ready to own another pet at this time. So let me care for yours! I work from home so I have flexibility in my days to care for your furry family! I can take a few walk breaks throughout the day so we will all be happy and refreshed! I have a remote job so I have enough flex in my day to give your sweet fur babies the attention, care and activity on their schedule!

About: Being experienced in positive reinforcement dog training, I love having the opportunity to work with dogs! I am willing to help with whoever needs walked, watered, fed, or looked after while you're away. Not just the dogs! I've had a wide variety of pets growing up, and love involving them in my work. I value being punctual, and keeping updated with open communication 🙂 I do my best to give all of my clients top quality care. I’m available for care outside of my work schedule! I will always set up a meet & greet to make sure whatever your pet family needs, I can provide. I value being cleanly & responsible, so your home & pets can be protected. The joy & peace of mind that knowing your pet family is well-cared for is my top priority.
About: I love dogs plain and simple and am hoping to do something more constructive with my free time. I have owned and raised dogs since I was a kid and have a deep affection for them. I am very active so I can wear your pup out or can keep it calm and indoors if need be. I recently lost my Lab, Zapa, to old age and could use all of the puppy love I can get. I am open and flexible to many different situations so special requests are welcome. Your dog will get plenty of attention while I am around! I am currently working part time and would love to spend my free time with pups. Available most weekends and weekdays and am usually able to check on pets during the day. I am currently renting an apartment on a farm that doesn't allow other dogs, but, I have a vehicle and flexible schedule to come to the pet most times of day. Happy to take the dog on walks and/or adventures or just let them out and give them some attention.

About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.

I'm happy to house sit, pet sit, or do daily drop-ins. I have a long-standing relationship in the community. Our family farm was well-respected for seven decades. About: I grew up on a farm and have spent 23 years loving all animals, caring for pets, farm companions, and learning how to provide each unique critter with the love they deserve. In the pictures above, you’ll find several of my beloved pets, clients, and animals I have had the fortune of meeting! I believe a passion for helping animals has made me into a highly empathetic individual who has a keen eye for understanding details in animals, allowing me to provide care that puts your pet first. I try to go beyond the basic necessities to help animals feel safe, happy, enriched, and loved, in your absence. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, including puppies, kittens and seniors. I display an intermediate level of training, including how to reinforce actions that benefit your companion, as well as steer away/de-escalate unwanted habits. I will always advocate for your pet, especially around other animals. Ample cuddles as well! Aside from cats and dogs, I especially enjoy caring for horses (feel free to inquire separately!), rodents, reptiles, chickens, and more. Available almost everyday/nights and open to all inquiries. Located in Eugene, Salem, and Portland. Questions? Shoot me a message! Communication is highly important to me and all messages will be responded to as quickly as I can. Recently graduated with a bachelors degree as well as running a creative art business from home, I create lots of time in my days to be on call for you and your pet(s)! Home for me is located in Eugene, Salem, and Portland, so I can provide more care across cities. For me, pet care is fulfilling and provides normalcy to my days. Whether it is my roommates 2 tuxedo cats with opposite personalities, my best friends cats, family, friends' dogs, neighbors, or somebody I just met in need of pet care, I am there! Shoot me a message anytime and I will reply promptly. Your fur baby's safety and well-being is my top priority. I strive to ensure clients feel safe and comfortable leaving their loved ones in my hands. Please make sure you inform me of any bad/unwanted (or good!) habits your pet may have so I can provide the best care I can. I enjoy sending pictures and video updates of pets to owners throughout the day- feel free to ask for more (or less!) I do not offer my home for boarding. While in your home, whether it be drop-ins or stay-ins, I ensure utmost respect, cleanliness and privacy of your space and neighbors. I will follow your schedule, directions and pet needs with great care for detail. Communication is highly important to me and all phone calls and messages will be responded to quickly.
About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, fed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. If there is anything in particular you wanna know feel free to ask. I currently am a homemaker and do have my own vehicle. I currently have a very open schedule but I do not drive. My partner drives me (or animals!) wherever I need to go. First things first I like to have a conversation with the clients about their pet specific needs and schedules. If a, “In-home” pet sitting is needed, I also like to go over any house or home rules. This can vary depending on the animal.
