“Danielle was wonderful with our cat Charlie. He’s usually very shy about news people, but they became fast friends. I was totally stress free about leaving him, knowing he was in her care.”

“Jaden was such a huge help! She was so good with my 2 cats and took wonderful care of them, while also keeping me up to date on how they were doing while I was out of town. One of my cats is very wary of new people, and Jaden was even able to win her over much more than I had expected! She went above and beyond in taking care of my pets. Also with Jaden being a vet tech, I knew that I could have such peace knowing my cats were incredibly safe and happy in her care. Definitely recommend!”

“The cats didn't care too much when I came home, so I can tell she did a good job! Leann was communicative, flexible. But most importantly, I can tell that the cats took a shine to her. I definitely reccomend.”

About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.
“My usual cat sitter options were unavailable and I needed someone on short notice, so tried Rover for the first time, ack! Heather responded right away and set up a meet and greet. She was very reliable and communicative, reaching out with questions as needed, and came back for the second day despite my sassy cat giving her a bit of attitude. Thanks for your patience, Heather!”

“Heather took care of our dog for drop-drop-in visits while we were away for 5 days. She took great care of our pup and communicated well. We would book her again in a heartbeat!”

About: Animals are my passion. I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs/cats of different ages and sizes. Through my years of experience, it’s easier to coax the most timid of animals into being my buddy. I like to learned and study what each animal needs or wants! So they are the most comfortable with me and on walks. I currently work super early in the day. I can check on animals midday through the afternoon and night. I’m free most weekends so any overnight stays would be fine with me. I would traditionally prefer animals to be in their own home. I know it can be stressful enough for an owner to leave their animals so I’d like for them to be the most comfortable in their own home.
“Jessica is an excellent sitter. We enjoyed having her take care of our little fur baby while we were away for a week. Jessica stayed on top of my care list and sent wonderful River cards. We would recommend Jessica to any of our friends or anyone looking for a kind and responsible sitter. Asobi liked Jessica right away, which was awesome because Asobi’s really shy with new people.”

“Melissa is very punctual. We leave the food in bags on the counter. She takes good care of our cats Frosts and Smokey. She feeds them, gives them fresh water. Frosta seems to greet her. Smokey likes to hide except when he gets fed. The cats seem to like her. She sends pictures of them after each visit. We have used Melissa twice and are looking forward to use her again in the future. I recommend her.”

“I can’t recommend Katie more. She dropped in with our cat Zia for 6 nights while we were on a trip. We finally didn’t have to worry if our pet sitter would show up or not. Katie was prompt each day and gave so much care and attention to our needy cat.”

“Alexandria was great! Very attentive and communicative. It's always reassuring to have someone do great amazing drop in care for our senior dog who doesn't travel well anymore. Would definitely book again in the future!”

“Communication was great and photos were sent of my my 2 dogs (golden doodle and a French bulldog), so I could see them while I was away. Booking were fast and very professional. I would recommend Hale to anyone who needs a pet sitter!! Loved using their service!””

“My cats and I recently moved to Lancaster so the cats are still adjusting and tend to go into hiding whenever someone new comes into the house. Alexandra coaxed Juni out of hiding the first day for some play and pats. On day two he voluntarily came to see her. Maddie Rose has been a little slower to warm up but made it half-way down the stairs on day two. Big progress for the cats! Alexandra is truly a cat whisperer.”

“Alyssa did a great job sitting for our cat while we were away for a week, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! During the initial consultation, Alyssa took the time to understand our cat’s personality, routine, and quirks. We felt completely at ease leaving our cat in her care. During our absence, Alyssa provided daily updates, complete with adorable photos, which put our minds at ease. We returned home to the same happy, well-adjusted cat that we left a week before. It’s clear our cat received competent, loving care. We would definitely use Alyssa as a pet-sitter again.”

She was very reliable and communicative, reaching out with questions as needed, and came back for the second day despite my sassy cat giving her a bit of attitude. Thanks for your patience, Heather!

I’m so happy I found her! This was my first time using Rover or any pet sitter, so I was very nervous, but she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. She was super responsive, responsible, and followed all of my instructions for my two kittens perfectly. She clearly has experience with cats and cared for my kittens like they were her own. I also noticed a few things through my pet camera while I was away, and when I asked her to check in on them, she was so kind and helpful about it. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable cat sitter!

Alyssa was fantastic! I booked a little last minute because I was having trouble finding someone and we’re on a super tight budget at the moment. We have one cat with severe anxiety and another cat with multiple medical issues and she provided updates and pictures our entire trip, it really helped put me at ease! Our cats warmed up to her so quickly, and we would definitely book with Alyssa again in the future!
