About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 15 years and grew up helping establish and run a local animal rescue on our family’s property. From a young age, I was involved in daily care, intake, and working with dogs of all temperaments before leaving for the military at 19. Today, I share my home with multiple dogs of my own and understand how important structure, supervision, and thoughtful introductions are in a multi-dog environment. I’m currently completing a professional dog training certification, so I bring a behavior-aware, training-informed approach to every stay (though I don’t offer formal training through Rover). I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, working breeds, and higher-energy personalities. Your dog will have predictable routines, supervised interaction, enrichment, and a calm, well-managed home environment. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I’m home frequently throughout the day and my schedule allows for consistent supervision, structured exercise, and enrichment. Boarding dogs are integrated thoughtfully into our routine with predictable rest, activity, and downtime. I live on rural property with a securely fenced yard, separate fenced field, and manage a structured multi-dog household. Dogs are introduced thoughtfully and supervised during interactions. I prioritize calm energy, clear boundaries, and safe management at all times. Crating is available if needed for rest, safety, or owner preference. I follow each dog’s routine closely and am comfortable managing large breeds, working breeds, and higher-energy personalities. Your dog’s physical safety and emotional comfort are my top priorities.

I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, and I’m here to give your pet the love, attention, and comfort they deserve while you're away. As a part-time nursing student and mom of two, I’ve learned how to balance a busy schedule with care and attention to detail. qualities that I also bring to pet care. I work relief shifts as a behavioral health support specialist, which gives me a flexible schedule that allows time during the day and weekends to dedicate to animals. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because caring is what I do, whether it’s my own kids or someone’s beloved pet, I’m fully committed to making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. About: • Veterinary student • Fear Free • *pending BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification coming 05/16* • • Transparent, reliable, and attentive care backed by extensive clinical experience • I’m Jennifer, a 2nd yr veterinary student at Oregon State University with an interest in small animal medicine and feline-centered care. I have 10+ years of hands-on experience working with (primarily) dogs and cats in both shelter and clinical environments. I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society, where I provided daily care and enrichment for incoming and resident animals. I later worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal general practice clinic for 4–5 years, gaining extensive experience with patient handling, client communication, and medical care in a fast-paced setting, while completing a bachelors in pre-veterinary medicine and a wildlife management certificate. To supplement my extensive academic training, I have pursued Fear Free Certification and Cat Friendly Veterinary Practitioner certification to better understand how to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in animals in the shelter and clinic environment. I carry those principles into every visit, prioritizing calm, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and personality. In addition, I am fully bonded and insured, and I maintain independent professional coverage beyond Rover platform protections. Currently, I am progressing on completing the BLS/ALS CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (the evidence-based standard used in veterinary medicine) and I will officially have that achievement met on May 16th! Additionally, I am continuing to expand my Fear Free certification in the coming weeks to include a higher tier of canine/feline care and a broader range of species in general. I am comfortable administering medications through a variety of routes and have experience caring for multiple species, including dogs, cats, and backyard poultry such as chickens and turkeys. While the majority of my experience is within the small animal realm, I have additional experience with a variety of species. Providing these services are an extension of my training and long-term career in veterinary medicine. I strive to provide thoughtful, consistent care so you can feel confident that your pet is in capable hands. One of my goals is to maintain your pet’s routine, while also monitoring for subtle changes in behavior or health while you’re away. I am currently transitioning into a full-time veterinary assistant role in a clinic in Eugene, OR, but I will do my best to accommodate any services in my time outside of the clinic. Thank you for sticking around to learn about me. I’d love to meet your fur kids! I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student that has needed to take a medical deferral for a year. I plan to return to OSU CCVM to finish my doctorate degree, during the Winter 2027 term. During the month of May '26, I expect to be transitioning into a veterinary clinic job in Eugene, OR. I will do my best to accommodate all requests in the meantime and I will be transparent about any scheduling conflicts. I am hoping to spend the next year focusing on my health, continuing my veterinary learning at a pace that suits my current needs, spending time with my cats and my partner, and exploring OR. I will reliably provide updates on the status of your pets and provide immediate reports if I notice anything abnormal or medically concerning during our visit. I am always available to be contacted if there are any concerns during the services or leading up to the services. In my time off from veterinary school, I plan to pursue BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification in Portland, OR in mid May. Fingers crossed that I am able to find a class with space but I will update my profile once I have official certification shortly! How cool to have a legit medical professional as a pet/house sitter while you're away! 😎 On top of being an approved Rover sitter/covered by the Rover guarantee, I have additional insurance coverage and am bonded through an external company to simply give myself and your family peace of mind while you're away!

About: Animal care has been a part of my whole life. I've always had a pet, whether they were cats or dogs. No matter the size, age, or breed of the pet, I understand to respect their boundaries and be mindful of their safety. Spoiling and playing with pets is the easiest task on the planet. I'm a part-time college instructor. My hours are extremely flexible, so I can happily take a break from grading to pop in for a pet. I first and foremost will defer to the owner's instructions and requests. For pop in care, I will check basic needs first: food/water/litter box/potty breaks. Then comes socializing or any other request from the owner. Weather permitting, I like to take dogs out for fetch, chase, tug-a-war, or casual walks. What we do is sometimes determined by the breed of dog. For cats, I understand that play is up to them. I'm happy to engage in any way they prefer. My own cat is a fiend for a string.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and clients for the last decade. I have experiencing administering medication as my family dog was diabetic, as well as medications for client’s pets as well. As a college student entering summer time, I have a lot of open availability to hang with your best furry friends! Pet care is an easy fit as I have a hybrid job with extremely flexible hours. I am free throughout the week as well as most weekends! I really do love hanging out with animals, so they receive my full attention!! Safety is a huge priority to having fun and spending time with them, so I remain extremely attentive to make sure they get the best safe care they can!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the moment I could walk and talk. I’ve been called the dog whisperer by many friends, family, strangers. I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. I will make sure your pup is well cared for and loved! I currently dont have a job so im pretty much free to help whenever you need! I do have a 5 month old baby that may or may not come with me. I’ll take your dog on walks around the neighborhood! If that’s what they’re into of course. If not, I’ll make sure we get some quality time inside and outside either playing or cuddling. I’ll make sure your pup gets the right amount of food and water.
About: I have all kinds of animals my whole life including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, cattle and pigs. I am currently going to Linn-Benton studying animal science. I am currently going to school in the early afternoons Monday-Thursday so I have plenty of time to care for your babies afternoons, nights, and early mornings. I have a fully fenced yard for your dogs to play in. I have access to a crate if necessary or required. I also have a spayed female dog to keep them company.

About: I provide reliable, in-home pet care focused on consistency, safety, and following each pet’s established routine. I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide range of temperaments, including rescues, seniors, and high-maintenance pets. I’m attentive to body language, stress signals, and environmental safety, and I adjust my approach based on the individual animal rather than using a one-size-fits-all style. I’m comfortable administering medications, adhering to strict care instructions, and maintaining routines so pets feel secure while their owners are away. Pet care is a central part of my weekly routine. I structure my schedule intentionally to allow for dependable drop-ins, walks, and in-home visits, with flexibility to accommodate regular check-ins, travel schedules, and repeat clients. I provide care exclusively in the client’s home to keep pets comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow all care instructions closely, prioritize safety on walks and during visits, and communicate clearly with owners to ensure trust and consistency.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
